The hotel was a delightful surprise overall. First off, the location is fantastic, right in the heart of the city with excellent transportation links, including direct subway access. Despite being in a bustling area, it's tucked away down a quiet alley, housed in a beautifully maintained hundred-year-old building. Every staff member was incredibly warm and friendly. With the hot weather in Xiamen these past couple of days, they even reminded me to take a bottle of water every time I left. The room itself was simply furnished, clean, and tidy. They also offered afternoon tea and late-night snacks for guests, showing thoughtful attention to detail in every aspect. Upon check-out, they even gave me a small souvenir. Invoices were issued promptly. Although I only stayed for a little over a day, it was a very pleasant and memorable experience. The sea-view room at Niaodao Seaview Chaosu (Zhongshan Road Store) offers an amazing view! Right when you open the curtains, you're looking at Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, and directly across is Gulangyu Island – you can clearly see the ferries. The room gets fantastic natural light, it's clean and tidy, well-equipped, and the service is incredibly attentive and friendly. Downstairs, there's a food street, and it's also very close to the Eighth Market, making transportation super convenient. The price is great value for money. I'm really satisfied with this trip and will definitely stay here again next time I visit Xiamen!

We stayed in a family room for four nights, and here's our experience: First, the hotel's location is excellent. It's very close to many attractions, with taxi rides costing around ten yuan, and only about twenty yuan for slightly further places. We visited Bailuzhou Park, and the Pigeon Square there was fantastic – our two boys had a blast feeding the pigeons. Zhongshan Park is also very close, with beautiful scenery and a nice atmosphere as many locals relax there. The Botanical Garden is even closer. Although the straight-line distance is short, it's a bit far to walk, so we took a taxi. However, a taxi involves going through a tunnel and making a big detour. If you walk, you have to use a separate underground passage to get to the Botanical Garden. Second, the overall service at the hotel was good. Staff would help us with our luggage when we went out, and also with loading and unloading it when taking a taxi. Third, the hotel's breakfast. The variety of dishes was decent, but there were too few stir-fried options, and the taste wasn't great – perhaps due to differences in northern and southern palates. There was local specialty peanut soup, which was just so-so; thread noodle paste, which I didn't try; Rou Yan (swallow dumplings), also didn't try; and satay noodles, which were too bland, but acceptable after adding condiments (chili powder, soy sauce, etc.). What I personally thought tasted good: the fish balls were delicious, the glutinous rice dumplings (Rou Zong) were excellent, and the stir-fried water caltrops were nice. Fourth, the hotel provided two tickets to the Botanical Garden and electric cart tickets, which was a thoughtful touch. Fifth, the cleaning staff (Ayi) were also very good. They would proactively greet us every day and ask about our needs, which was very considerate.

Excellent stay! The room was spacious, comfortable, and spotless. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly, assisting us with any issues we had. The cleaning staff were also very polite. Plus, the location right next to Sanfang Qixiang makes it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. Highly recommend, I'll definitely book here again next time I'm in Fuzhou.

The first night, we were assigned to the guesthouse, which I found inconvenient and didn't want to go to, but they said the main building was fully booked. The room was very spacious, which the two kids loved. It was indeed a bit out of the way, but the shuttle service made it very convenient, getting us to the main building within five minutes. The second night, we stayed in a family room on the first floor of the main building, which I personally really liked, and my younger daughter absolutely adored. Honestly, the first-floor room wasn't musty or damp as some online reviews claimed. As for breakfast, it was incredibly rich and hearty – we were stuffed! It was much more plentiful than the breakfast at the InterContinental we stayed at last year. Finally, regarding the service, my older son said he could find fault with other aspects, but the service was truly impeccable.

This hotel is tucked away in an alley just off Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, offering a relatively comfortable and quiet stay. It's only a 3-minute walk to Zhongshan Road, making shopping and exploring very convenient. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and attentive, always responding promptly to our requests. Their curated list of local attractions and dining spots was excellent; we got to try some reliable old eateries. Our stay was particularly pleasant, and I highly recommend it! The rooftop room type is truly impressive, even more reliable than some nearby 5-star hotels. If you're coming for a vacation, you should definitely give it a try.

My wife and I were really happy with the hotel we booked in Xiamen this time. The location is excellent, right by Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, making it super convenient for eating, shopping, and entertainment. I highly recommend the fifth-floor garden terrace room I booked – it was fantastic! The room was spacious and well-equipped, and the private terrace was perfect for enjoying tea or a smoke outdoors. The hotel front desk staff and the housekeeping aunties on our floor were all incredibly warm and proactive with their service. We had a wonderful stay for four nights straight!

The views are expansive, offering panoramic cityscapes from a high floor. The room was clean and cozy, and the bedding was comfortable. The location right by the Twin Towers is super convenient for property enthusiasts. Check-in was smooth, and it was wonderfully quiet and pleasant.

The hotel boasts an excellent location directly across from Gulangyu Island, offering stunning views. It's incredibly convenient for visiting all the major attractions and is also very close to a subway entrance. The breakfast buffet is extensive, featuring items not typically found in other hotels. The recreational facilities are also top-notch, and we had a fantastic time there.

We drove 7 hours from Ningbo, and this hotel is right in the city center. For a May Day holiday stay, the value for money was pretty good. Getting around the city is convenient by subway, and the station is right downstairs. Plus, the subway was free on May Day! The room was quite spacious, and I was really happy with the double sinks and bathtub. It was also pretty quiet at night. Breakfast was standard; it probably falls a bit short compared to five-star hotels in the Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai area. The parking lot is on B3, and driving down there was a bit of a test for my parking skills. All the popular city attractions were swarming with people, so we skipped them, but Fudao is genuinely great. I recommend going early in the morning or around 5 PM, starting at entrance 3, and walking to entrance 5 or 7. It's about 5 kilometers and takes around 1.5 hours.
