Excellent service and a fantastic location! It's super close to Zhongshan Road and China City, with tons of great food options. The ferry terminal is also just a short walk away. The hygiene was impeccable, very clean. While the surrounding area is an older residential neighborhood, the courtyard of the guesthouse itself was a pleasant surprise and quite stunning. Great atmosphere, highly recommended!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this boutique hotel as it was very closed ZhongShanLu (2min walk!) with all the food and shops all around. It's also perfectly situated between the harbors for traveling to Gulangyu Island. The lobby is decked in space theme, while the room was tropical themed. We loved that the room was uniquely formatted as well and different from the typical large hotels. We didn't get to use the tub but it was also unique in that it was an oval, almost like a bird's nest (hotel name: ”bird island”). Our seaview room had direct view of the Gulangyu Island and their Organ Museum. Gulangyu lit up at night and watching the ferries go by was very relaxing. The hotel staff was very friendly and welcoming, helping with laundry and filling our water bottles with ice. This hotel definitely meets the ”boutique” standard in being unique in their own way and having such an amazing view. There is no gym for anyone looking to work out after eating too many skewers or sacha mian, but one can run along the harbors for a good work out!

Overall, a great experience – convenient, accessible, and comfortable.
Firstly, the location is superb. The hotel is within walking distance of Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, passing through Zhongshan Park. Thanks to excellent urban planning, the walk never felt boring. It's also close to the Eight Market and a subway entrance.
Secondly, the service is outstanding. Responses were quick, and any requests for items were promptly addressed. They offered a butler-style service, and even late at night, there was always someone available to assist. There was also a thoughtful inquiry about my needs when I checked out (room 103).
Thirdly, the facilities are convenient. While it's true that the hotel's age means some facilities are older, this didn't affect their functionality. In fact, it added to a unique sense of history and gravitas. There's also a mini-fridge which was very handy.
Fourthly, the dining is excellent. They offer a great selection of local specialties, and the daily breakfast is refined and well-executed. Even during my two-day stay, there were many new dishes introduced.
Fifthly, parking is convenient. There's a large parking lot downstairs, and other areas also have parking spots. The greeters at the front entrance provided prompt service, and there's even an internal shuttle service for guests within the hotel premises.
Sixthly, emergency response was impressive. When an unexpected issue arose, the hotel didn't shy away or avoid responsibility. Even after I checked out, front desk staff member 089 proactively contacted me to genuinely communicate and resolve the problem. Subsequent staff members who took over were also very communicative and didn't pass the buck, all working hard to protect the guest's rights.
Regarding the laundry issue mentioned in some reviews, during my off-peak stay, the two dryers and four washing machines were never crowded or queued. This was largely due to the staff (A-jie) on-site who promptly managed the laundry.
In summary, the minor flaws are overshadowed by the overall excellence, fully demonstrating the hotel's high quality, efficiency, and standards.
Special commendation goes to front desk staff 089 for their problem-solving attitude, which truly showcased the hotel's commitment.

Traveling with a child, they managed to combine the twin beds and upgraded our room type. It was spacious enough for three of us, and we had a very comfortable sleep. The little courtyard by the pool on the first floor was a relaxing spot for a cup of tea. Our child absolutely loved the outdoor pool. We spent most of the first day at the hotel, with adults relaxing and the child having a blast. It was great. There's a small gate from the hotel leading to an underpass, and then you're right at the beach. It's super convenient for watching the sunrise, though unfortunately, it was too cloudy for us that day. The hotel's decor seems quite old; some of the floor tiles and other fixtures show wear and tear, so it's good to manage expectations. However, I highly recommend this for a family trip to Xiamen.

Our stay was incredibly comfortable. The room was clean and bright, with a cozy and inviting layout. The location is super convenient for getting around and finding places to eat. The front desk service was warm and attentive, with thoughtful details everywhere. It offers great value for money, definitely my top choice for accommodation when traveling. The overall experience far exceeded my expectations; the environment was immaculately clean, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable. The facilities were comprehensive and sufficient. The front desk staff were friendly and responsive to any issues, making for a worry-free and pleasant stay. I'll definitely choose this place again next time. This guesthouse has a wonderful atmosphere; the space is open and not cramped, with excellent natural light and views. It's very convenient for sightseeing, and the service is thoughtful and warm, making for a relaxing and comfortable stay. I sincerely recommend it to anyone traveling.

The hotel staff were incredibly thoughtful. When it rained, the lobby provided free umbrellas for guests to use. You just return them after use, and the best part is they're free, so you don't have to buy one. I was really happy with this service. On my second day, when it was time to check out, I asked the front desk if I could get an extension because I couldn't make it back in time, and they extended it for us – that was great! The location is really easy to find and very central, with lots of great food, entertainment, and leisure options nearby. There are also plenty of amenities like banks, pharmacies, and fruit stores. The room cleanliness was excellent; it remained tidy and consistent even after several days of staying. The housekeeping staff are very efficient; when I returned in the afternoon, my room was already clean.

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! Our room was on a high floor, and the huge floor-to-ceiling windows offered a panoramic view of Gulangyu Island. We also got to enjoy the romantic sunset, and the scenery was just breathtaking – every photo we took turned out amazing. The room had a bathtub, which was perfect for soaking in hot water after a busy day of sightseeing, instantly melting away all the fatigue. The hotel's location is also excellent; we could walk to all the nearby attractions, making getting around incredibly convenient. The room was clean and comfortable, and overall, it offered great value for money. We'll definitely choose this place again for our next trip.

The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, right across from Gulangyu Island, and within walking distance to Zhongshan Road. It's also not far from the airport. The views are fantastic, and the hotel itself is very comfortable. The facilities are convenient and functional, it's quiet for a good night's sleep, and even the toiletries are great. The rooms are spacious with a good layout. The staff are professional and enthusiastic, paying attention to guests' special needs. The front desk even upgraded us to a room with a beautiful sea view, which really enhanced our stay! Xiamen is a wonderful city to explore with delicious food and beautiful scenery! This is an excellent hotel to stay at!

I came to Fuzhou for the Pleasure concert this time, and following my rule of 'new over old,' I chose this hotel among a bunch of older Hilton and Kempinski properties. Even though it's considered a 'lite W' (a more affordable version of W Hotels), it was actually really good and offered excellent value for money.
The location is great, about 20 minutes from Fuzhou Station. It's also less than a 20-minute drive by taxi to tourist spots like Yantai Mountain, Sanfang Qixiang, and Fuzhou MixC. The hotel is very new, and the room was spacious – perfect for one person. Especially considering it was less than 900 for a night, which is fantastic. A big plus is the strong shower pressure, and you can even enjoy a hot spring bath, which is a huge bonus.
The staff were very enthusiastic and had great attitudes. My only complaint is that the breakfast selection was just average, and the taste was nothing special. In this regard, it still can't compare to traditional old-school five-star hotels.
The gym on the third floor seems to be a collaboration with a local fitness brand; you just swipe your card to enter. The equipment is fairly comprehensive, and it felt good to get a workout in early in the morning. All in all, if I get a chance to visit Fuzhou again, I'll definitely choose this place. The price is just right!

If you're traveling to Fuzhou, I highly recommend this guesthouse! It's located within the Three Lanes and Seven Alleys, very close to the main street but surprisingly quiet. The guesthouse staff are fantastic; they proactively reached out, helped us with our luggage, and even made us three special drinks that they're planning to launch, which everyone absolutely loved 😌
The guesthouse design is beautiful and great for photos, and the rooms are clean. The mung bean soup they prepared for check-in and the daily breakfasts were also incredibly delicious 😋

HhkustsungodExcellent stay!
I received a free room upgrade, which included a bathtub and a wet/dry separation in the bathroom.
The guesthouse lobby has two adorable cats, a British Shorthair named 'Jinbao' and a Golden British Shorthair named 'Zhaocai'. Zhaocai is quite a rebel and will playfully swat at anyone, but Jinbao is super friendly and lets you pet her as long as you have cat treats.
The overall accommodation environment was fantastic. What was even better was their restaurant. We stayed for two nights and had all three of our main meals at the guesthouse. The food was absolutely delicious and perfectly suited our taste buds.
In contrast, many restaurants within the Wuyishan scenic area can be hit or miss – I won't name names, but there are just too many 'influencer' spots.
Right across the road from the guesthouse is 'Impression Dahongpao', which was a great show to catch in the evening. A short walk further is the Tea Culture Park, and if you follow the path deep into the park, you'll find a famous walking trail. Every weekend evening, there's a band that performs there for free.
On the morning we went to the Wuyishan National Park, we even borrowed a traditional bamboo hat from the guesthouse, which was a fun experience.
The only slight downside was breakfast; it wasn't quite to my liking as it was a bit greasy and salty. So, on the second morning, we went out for Zixi noodles instead.
The soundproofing in the room could be better; I could hear conversations in the hallway in the morning, but it wasn't a major issue.
I would definitely stay here again on my next visit.
MMsZeroThe hotel offers a complimentary afternoon tea on the second floor, with a good selection of fruits and pastries. My wife particularly enjoyed them. The room amenities are comprehensive, and the hygiene is excellent. The decor is very cozy, and the parent-child themed decorations are adorable. The staff are very friendly, polite, and responsible. Overall, it was a great experience.
MM521513****A truly satisfying stay! The staff were all very welcoming and the room was clean and comfortable. The highlight for me was the hot springs – they were beautiful and left me feeling incredibly relaxed. There were also activities for kids and bamboo rafts to ride. I'd definitely come back if I have the chance!
GGuest UserFacilities: Great, perfect for escaping the daily grind.
Hygiene: Clean and hygienic. The unique tea fragrance is incredibly refreshing.
Environment: Just look at the pictures – everyone who comes here instantly falls in love.
Service: The whole family is wonderful. The dad is very trendy, the mom is incredibly wise, and the son is very enthusiastic. I drank various teas personally brewed by the owner and ate genuine tea eggs. When I couldn't join the group activities due to personal reasons and was left alone, the owner's family warmly invited me to have lunch with them. Highly recommended, I'll definitely come again.
GGuest UserPros: The location is excellent. You can take a direct bus from North Station to Lantang Station, and after getting off, the entrance is just 100 meters ahead. When sightseeing, Wuyi Palace is a short walk from the hotel's main entrance. From the Wuyi Palace stop, you can catch the scenic bus which takes you to all the attractions, making it incredibly convenient. Staying here eliminates the need for repeated taxi rides. The scenery is beautiful; if it rains, the misty Dawang Peak is absolutely stunning. The staff are simple, yet professional.
Cons: The hairdryer kept cutting out after a short while, which was very inconvenient for women with long hair. If this bothers you, I recommend bringing your own hairdryer.
GGuest UserWhat touched me most about this stay was what happened after I checked out. I was already at the airport, about to check in, when I suddenly received a call from the hotel's Assistant Lobby Manager, asking if I had left anything in the room safe. It was then that it hit me – my most important documents and belongings were still in there!
While I was incredibly anxious, the Assistant Lobby Manager didn't hesitate for a second. She immediately and decisively arranged for a driver to take my items from the hotel to the airport. In the end, I safely and smoothly retrieved everything without any delay to my travel plans.
My heartfelt thanks go out to the hotel's Assistant Lobby Manager and the staff for their attentiveness, honesty, and professionalism. Their proactive and responsible attitude, and their willingness to go above and beyond for guests, has truly changed my perception of your hotel's service. You not only helped me avoid a loss but also made me feel truly 'at home.' I will definitely choose this hotel again next time and recommend it to all my friends!
GGuest UserLet me start with the cons. There are limited parking spaces above ground, and the two-level underground garage also has a scarcity of oddly-designed spots. The lanes are very narrow, and my tire was scraped when I drove out after checking out.
Now for the pros: The location is excellent, making it convenient to get to Ba Shi (the Eighth Market), the Botanical Garden, and various walking trails. The underground garage door is sensor-controlled, opening and closing automatically, and there are projected indicators on the ground in the lanes, which is a nice touch. The room design is practical, featuring a separate walk-in closet. The two 1.2-meter beds have wheels, making them easy to move. The mattress was the biggest surprise—it's tall, very comfortable, and lives up to five-star hotel standards.
GGuest UserI took a last-minute trip to Xiamen during the May 1st holiday, and hotel prices everywhere had skyrocketed. This place, however, remained unchanged. I initially thought it might be an older hotel, but the reviews were all positive, so I booked two nights. The location is truly excellent – right next to a subway station and across from a mall, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. I was pleasantly surprised when I entered the room. While not brand new, it was well-maintained. Being a hotel apartment, it came with a large refrigerator and a combo washer-dryer, which is perfect for trips lasting anywhere from 3 days to a week. The machine wasn't noisy either. The subway downstairs made getting anywhere very easy. The room came with two bottles of water daily, which wasn't quite enough, but when I mentioned it to the front desk, they immediately gave me six more. Overall, my stay was very comfortable. The only minor thing I found a bit unusual was the breakfast – it was very vegetarian-focused, with no meat. It wasn't bad, just a bit different from what I'm used to.

AAnonymous UserWe received a warm welcome from the staff. Check in was straightforward and prompt. The lobby area was spacious and pleasantly furnished. The staff gave us a room upgrade and we had a spacious and well appointed room that made us feel very at home. When we arrived, it was close to lunch time and the staff checked in on us on meal requests, we took the lunch and it was a good spread of local specialties. Breakfast was freshly made and gave us a good impression of how a well prepared local breakfast would be like, also the meal was well balanced with dairy, vegetables etc. The room package also included a afternoon tea in the garden with a water feature, a tea bath and a evening Chinese tea appreciation session where we chatted with the staff. We really enjoyed our stay there.
GGuest UserThe hotel has a great environment, and the surrounding scenery is also beautiful. The service is excellent, and the rooms are super spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was very distinctive. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Xiamen. I was very satisfied with this stay.
