AAlison’s Silk Road TravelsI chose to stay at Dunyo Palace as it had positive reviews by Trip members and it had an outdoor swimming pool. It was also great value for money for solo travellers. I arrived early than expected at check in and staff were ready to greet me! Wonderful reception staff! The hotel was bigger than expected and the reception area was very modern and clean with nicely decorated interior. I was shown to my room which was on the second floor. I stayed in a single persons room 205. It was bigger than expected with a big bathroom. There were extras like a bath, comfy chairs to chill. I had a fridge, kettle and a full size mirror. I like a full size mirror. The room also had air conditioning which was very good and very quiet. I had a view of the front of the hotel from my window that was pleasant. My room smelled very pleasant and was a non smoking room. My bed was very comfortable for my back. Breakfast was a buffet with a lot of Uzbekistan food which I had never tried before. It was a very busy breakfast area. There was a big range of different foods including fruits and cheeses. I liked the spinach parcels they were very tasty. A lot of the food was homemade. I thought it was delicious. There are a range of buses that offer great service to solo travellers arriving on the train. I caught a Marshuktra from the train station number 378. The Marshuktra dropped me at the bus stop on the road for No 1 bus that stops right outside the hotel. You can also take bus 7/33 All very easy and cheaper than a taxi. I would definitely stay at this hotel again because it has a very nice swimming pool that I used in the afternoon after a long morning sight seeing. I would highly recommend visiting Sitorai Mohi Hosa which is a short distance from the hotel and you can take bus 7/33 or walk. It’s an amazing visit if you are interested in art, culture and architecture. The hotel is very convenient for solo travellers who are a bit too old for Hostels! And like a cold swim after a long day sightseeing without breaking the piggy bank! The first pictures are of my hotel room and the front on the hotel. The other pictures relate to my visits and walks in the local area. I hope you find this helpful. I wanted to stay longer in the hotel but Trip would not provide additional extensions to my trip.

KKapustyanskaya OxanaWe absolutely loved this hotel. The rooms are cozy with great mattresses and comfortable pillows, new plumbing, and everything is spotless. The room has everything you need, and the toiletries are high-quality. The spa complex is fantastic, featuring a pool, hammam, Finnish sauna, and a gym. The restaurant has a terrace with a view of the Old Town, and the food is delicious. Breakfasts are excellent.

GGuest UserDuring hot weather, the hotel pool is a great place to spend time. BUT!!! The pool is a huge plus, and simultaneously a huge negative because access to it is open to absolutely everyone for a fee, and on Sundays it's a nightmare – it's Ladies' Day, and you simply can't get near the pool. What's more, women swim not in proper closed swimsuits, but in whatever they arrived in, and get this, even in street shoes! No one pays attention, but it's unhygienic! On other days, conversely, ONLY men come. And as a woman, I feel uncomfortable when dozens of male eyes stare at me in my swimsuit!
The hotel room costs $100 for one person, which isn't the cheapest price for Bukhara.
The management should prioritize the comfort of hotel guests!
Otherwise, the rooms are large and spacious, with everything you need: towels, bathrobes, slippers, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, shampoo.
The breakfast is delicious, with a great selection and everything is absolutely tasty.
Special thanks to the chef for the porridges. My stomach was tired of pilaf and shashlik after a month, so kudos for the buckwheat and oatmeal!

JJumadurdy AnnamyradovThe hotel is beautiful and perfectly located, with many of Bukhara’s main attractions within walking distance. Everything is brand new, and I would highly recommend this hotel.
I visit Bukhara at least twice a year, and this is by far the best hotel I have stayed at in the city so far.
The hotel had only been open for about a week during my stay, so I believe some minor issues are simply because the staff are still getting used to the systems and procedures. For example, my reservation showed that the payment had already been made, but at checkout I was told that the payment had not yet appeared in their account. I had to wait for around 5–10 minutes while they checked the situation, but eventually everything was sorted out and I was able to leave without any problem.
Considering how new the hotel is, I completely understand these minor issues. Overall, I had a very positive experience and would definitely stay here again.

AAnonymous UserThe overall experience was good, but the overall facilities are a bit old (perhaps this is the standard in Uzbekistan), and it is a bit difficult to carry luggage without an elevator. The service attitude is polite but not very enthusiastic. It should be noted that you need to pay an additional tourist tax of about 50 RMB to get the small white receipt, and you must pay in cash, which is different from what was written on Ctrip. I am a bit speechless.

GGuest UserStop for two nights. The size of the hotel, room and the presence of the balcony played a significant role in choosing. No big claims for accommodation. There is a decent breakfast. The room is large, the balcony was present. However, the room is somewhat unthinkable and not too comfortable, as if under the hotel had been remade the room originally designed for something else. The furniture is modest. To the main sights you will have to walk on the not most scenic streets - no pleasure, especially at night ) Of course, it is always possible to call an inexpensive taxi. In general, the KMK price of $100 per night for this hotel is heavily overstated, Especially according to the measures of Uzbekistan.

GGuest UserOverall, it was decent. The hotel is quite new, but the main drawback is that the room is a bit small. I've stayed further from the city center before and gotten larger rooms. Here, besides the bed, there's not much space left. There's an ATM on the ground floor, and the breakfast is excellent, a mix of Western and Uzbek styles, with strawberries which was a nice touch. It's easy to get a taxi, and it's not far from the old city, about 10 kilometers. Across from the hotel, there's a place that sells baked samsa, and about a kilometer away there are restaurants where you can order takeout.

AAnonymous UserExcellent stay experience. Jasmine Gevinch, the lovely lady at the front desk, helped me switch to a higher floor. Knowing I was traveling alone, she specially recommended the CHINOR restaurant, which is a local favorite with great value for money. When she learned about my habit of drinking a lot of water due to the hot weather, she had the staff send up 4 extra bottles of mineral water. Thumbs up for the attention to detail!
Although the hotel is within walking distance of the old city, it's dustier because you pass by a construction site, so taking a taxi is more convenient.
When using Yandex taxi, you need to set the pickup location to the hotel lobby level; otherwise, the car will automatically stop in the parking lot below.
Joxongir, the concierge at the entrance, was super nice. He helped me carry my luggage from the front desk to the entrance and waited until my taxi arrived and the luggage was loaded before leaving. Despite the hot weather outside, he stayed to confirm the destination (the train station) with me and the driver before departing.

EElGrVery comfortable family hotel.Comfortable rooms with everything you need (fent, shampoo, soap, toothbrush, slippers). Very good breakfast.
The only thing we recommend is to take into account hotel = curtains= they strongly skip the sun and from the early dawn it doesn't sleep.
In the rest of the hotel is just excellent with very kind service!!

GGuest UserThe hotel environment is good, the room is average, quite clean, but not bad. I found that the public environment of hotels in Uzbekistan is good, but the rooms are just average. However, this hotel is close to the scenic spot, so I still recommend it. The front desk service is very good. We had to check out at 6 am on the last day, and the front desk had prepared a takeaway breakfast for us. Thumbs up. The following pictures were taken in the hotel.
