YilubudongyedeguangmingA taxi from the airport cost less than 2000 JPY. The hotel is just across the road from Hakata Station, with plenty of dining options nearby. Plus, there's an underground passage right downstairs that leads directly to Hakata Station, so you don't need an umbrella on rainy days.

Ahmad MostafaReception at 4 pm was slow and it was necessary for several guests to wait for the two reception people even though they had three other people greeting guests.
The nearby Shinkansen station provides easy access to the hotel which is an easy 5-10 minutes walk.
Wifi worked well and the air conditioning was good especially in the cold weather. Rooms are a good size and in good condition with above average views.
House keeping was also good, though guests need to request daily services by placing a card on the room door otherwise daily service is not provided.
The four lifts provided an efficient service. I didn’t have breakfast on this occasion but have had it in the past and it’s of a good quality and high standard. The staff are lovely and caring.
The location is good being near the main Shinkansen station. Beyond the station there are shopping centres and street malls with a variety of restaurants and shops to meet most people’s needs.
There are also many nearby restaurants that should suit most people’s cuisine, budget and type of food.
Buses and subway stations are nearby and provide access to various parts of the city. There are several attractions within 30-60 minutes of the hotel such as temples and museums.
Overall a pleasant stay and happy to visit again.

The Okura Hotel has a great location. Its back exit leads directly to a bustling area, with plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. The room itself isn't very spacious, and the facilities are a bit dated. The cleanliness isn't as meticulous as it used to be. However, the bed and pillows are comfortable, and the internet connection is excellent, which is a big plus for a smaller room.

Guest UserEvery time I visit Fukuoka, I stay here. It's super convenient, just across the street from Hakata Station. The rooms are quite spacious, the bedding is excellent, and the service is top-notch. From check-in to housekeeping, and even calling a taxi when checking out, they're always accommodating. I've given them good reviews many times, so I won't elaborate too much, but I do have two suggestions for improvement:
1. The breakfast is truly too simple. The main issue is that in all the times I've stayed here, the breakfast has been almost identical with no changes whatsoever. It got to the point where I didn't even want to eat it on my last day.
2. I wish the rooms had body lotion. Why do they provide makeup remover, face wash, and skincare products, but no body lotion or hand cream? I don't understand.
Ultimately, if the breakfast could be varied and offer more options, I would gladly continue staying here.

Guest UserEverything was great, I was very satisfied. The breakfast was rich and delicious.
The stunning ocean view and sound of the waves were incredibly relaxing.
My only minor complaint is that the projector in the room emitted a very bright blue light after turning off the main lights at night, which made it hard to sleep.
It would be absolutely perfect if this could be improved. 😉

Guest UserThis hotel is super convenient! It's just one subway stop away from both Hakata Station and Tenjin, and right next to Canal City Hakata. There's a Don Quijote about a ten-minute walk away, and a Family Mart right downstairs. The service at the hotel was excellent; someone helped me with my luggage as soon as I arrived. Breakfast was also good.

It's a resort-style hotel. It feels very comfortable. The room is large enough, the view is open, and it has a balcony. The balcony is also equipped with a sofa and mosquito killer lamp. The bathroom has a massage pool big enough for two people.

Anonymous UserThe room was spacious, and the transportation was decent. There's a supermarket nearby, and you can walk to the beach. The only downside is that the decor is a bit dated, but otherwise, it's pretty good.

The family suite at this hotel really surprised me – it actually had four large beds! It's definitely big enough for a whole family, though it's a shame there's only one bathroom. On the bright side, the toiletries and towels were all provided for four people, which was plenty.
The hotel is a bit far from the city center, so there aren't many good restaurants or shops nearby.
However, it's right by the sea with beautiful views, and you can even see sea eagles soaring in the sky.
The room itself is spacious, with two desks, and the internet speed was decent, more than enough for our needs.
