The hotel couldn't have been better. It's situated right on the Nile River in Egypt, and I highly recommend trying the Egyptian cuisine at the hotel restaurant. For around 50,000 KRW, a couple can enjoy a very satisfying meal. The accommodation itself has a cozy, almost guesthouse-like atmosphere.

The service is great, but it is basically impossible to change the date if you book a reservation. There is a pick-up service. The restaurant and service are great. Although the room is small, the air-conditioned hot water bedding is more comfortable. It will be great if you travel alone!

Out of the five hotels I stayed at in Egypt, this one wasn't cheap, but the experience was just okay. The photos made it look great, but the hotel itself isn't that big. It's located on a hill next to the Old Cataract, so walking back means a steep climb. I even had an unreliable driver try to charge extra just because of the hill – unbelievable! 😓 The front desk staff's attitude was so-so, and they gave me a ground-floor room. I seriously suspect the housekeeping staff tampered with my foundation bottle. The cap was open, and a few drops had spilled out. The more I thought about it later, the more I realized it definitely wasn't my doing. If you're staying here, I'd recommend keeping your personal items locked in your luggage! The buffet restaurant's food was mediocre, but the coffee was decent.

The hotel is located on the island, which is accessible by a complimentary hotel boat running every 20 minutes. The views are breathtaking and the overall atmosphere of the island is beautiful. The staff were very helpful and provided excellent service. However, the rooms are quite dated and not very clean. The bathroom doesn't have separate wet and dry zones, so water splashes everywhere when showering. Most of the amenities in the room felt old and worn out. It’s a great place for the scenery, but the room facilities definitely need improvement.

The hotel is located in a rather remote area, making it a good stopover for those driving. The breakfast was poor, with nothing particularly appealing. The water park was closed, and the surrounding environment was unpleasant. I wouldn't recommend it for families with children.

Arriving at 9 am, I only planned to leave my luggage at the hotel, but the front desk helped me check in early 🙏; since I couldn't find anything to eat on my early flight, they arranged breakfast for me, $15 per person, which is a normal price. The scenery was truly comparable to the old falls. In Aswan, it felt like the inside and outside of the hotel were two different worlds; the hotel was safe and civilized, while the outside was chaotic and disorderly.

This is a very contradictory hotel that I don't know if it is worth recommending. The shortcomings and advantages are very prominent. It is suitable for net red films (the following photos are all original films that have not been repaired), but it is not suitable for anyone who has certain requirements for the ”accommodation” itself. If you can find any cheap + clean + landscape-like alternative hotel, it is recommended to change it, but if the Badger is at the forefront of the Nubian village for photos and scenery. First you have to endure: 1. There is no price-performance ratio hotel price in the peak season, and the hotel has opened the price of a five-star hotel. 2. Poor room facilities, rough-winded furniture narrow room, sheets are worrying, bathroom bath water overflow drainage is useless, no slippers, toothbrushes, hair dryers (phone front desk can provide). 3. Breakfast is self-service and unusually simple and unpalatable, unlike some people who evaluate set and inexplicably praise. 4. Tolerate or add money to continue to endure the complaints of chartered drivers driving into Nubia Village, and then contact the hotel in the middle of the night to change to Sanbengzi in the deserted and dark mountains for 15 minutes suspected of reaching the top of the mountain hotel in life. 5. Very unreasonable other pricing, we originally wanted to book New Year's Eve party dinner, the result is 100 dollars per person... What do we get here? The balcony of the room can see the invincible sunrise on the west bank of the Nile River, and we witnessed the first dawn of 2025 at 6 a.m. here. 2. The various posings in the cultural buildings of Nubian Village are very popular. 3. Take a photo with the desert next to the hotel. A very special group of tourists row three jumping up and down the mountain cultural experience. 5. The hotel service staff is more friendly. Finally, it is explained that Egypt is not a tipping country. Carrying luggage is the basic service of any hotel in their country. No one has to tip during the whole stay.

We booked two garden view rooms for our family trip. Hilariously, we checked in at 2:30 PM that day, then rushed to a scenic spot and dinner. When we returned to the hotel around 8:40 PM, our room key cards weren't even ready – incredibly inefficient. To make matters worse, there was no hot water in the rooms. The temperature had dropped significantly that day, and I was traveling with a 3-year-old and my 70-year-old mother. Both rooms had no hot water. I called the front desk, and they said they'd send someone, but we waited a good twenty minutes before a staff member finally arrived. It was clear the staff member wasn't trained; they couldn't speak English and immediately used their dirty hands to touch all the bath towels in the room. Then they just said ”five minutes” and left. We waited another ten-plus minutes with the child, and still no news. I had no choice but to call the front desk again and ask for a room change. I was told the hotel was fully booked. Desperate, I contacted Ctrip, and their overseas specialist spent a long time negotiating before the hotel finally agreed to a room change. However, by then it was past 10 PM, and our child couldn't stay up any longer. We had no choice but to give the child a quick wash and put them to bed. I've never encountered such a poorly managed hotel. I have no idea how it got a 4.9 rating. Also, the hotel's advertised free airport shuttle service is only available at 4 AM and 6 PM; all other times are chargeable. I'm writing this to save others from making the same mistake! We chose this hotel because it's part of the MGM brand, and the room decor and hardware are quite good, but the service (software) is absolutely terrible. So, our conclusion is: in Egypt, don't just look at the brand name of a hotel; as long as it's locally managed, it's a complete mess. ಢ🌚ಢ

HHey-tripThe stretch of the Nile in Aswan is arguably the most beautiful, and the hotel's legendary status goes without saying, having inspired both the novel and film ”Death on the Nile.” The hotel has a very bright and airy feel overall, perhaps due to the intense sunshine outside; Aswan in September gets sun every day. The hotel itself is a special attraction. Security: Strict security at the entrance. The hotel truly feels like a world unto itself. Food: Breakfast has a good selection of cold dishes, and the service is excellent. The 1902 restaurant's style is a must-see. Room: Large balcony with views of the Nile and desert. The design features a distinct North African style. Service: I accidentally scalded myself with hot water in the evening, and the hotel promptly and professionally sent medicine twice, followed up on my condition, and offered further advice. It turned out that the medication and dressings provided by the hotel were the most suitable and highest quality for the rest of my trip. I sincerely thank all the staff who provided service. I believe one of the hallmarks of a truly 'good' hotel is its ability to handle customer emergencies like this. Thumbs up to the entire hotel. If you're not driving, exploring Aswan's attractions can be a bit challenging, but the hotel's concierge staff provides helpful advice. Overall, everything was excellent.

GGuest UserThe hotel is right by the Nile River. There is a large area full of his homes. It is a bit like a more distinctive homestay. It is in Nubian style, and there are many distinctive decorations in the room. The hotel is located in the suburbs, and the surrounding area is deserted and remote, so it is also very quiet. The hotel we booked to pick us up from Cairo to Aswan was charged $55. It took about 40 minutes to drive. I felt cheated. In fact, you can call a taxi directly from the airport. It is not as chaotic as it is said on the Internet. The breakfast in the hotel is not bad. The fried egg is very delicious. There is a waiter who is Nubian. He is very nice to me. He will take the initiative to help me carry things and remind me to pay attention to the steps. It is the most sincere and friendly service I feel in my trip to Egypt. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask his name. When I left, I wanted to find him to tip but couldn't find him.
