Qingdao International Airport Banchen Hotel has truly become my go-to choice for business trips and layovers. Every stay is incredibly comfortable, and this time, I was even more pleasantly surprised! The front desk thoughtfully arranged a room upgrade, instantly boosting my travel happiness. The upgraded room was spacious with a simple yet elegant design. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly; just lying down melted away all my travel fatigue. The biggest surprise was the room's soundproofing. Even though it's right next to the airport, I couldn't hear any airplane take-off or landing noise at all, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The room was meticulously clean, with attention to detail evident everywhere. The facilities were complete and excellent to use, making for a particularly comfortable stay. The hotel's location is absolutely unbeatable. There's a skybridge connecting it directly to the airport terminal, so you can walk there easily. No need to rush for early flights or transfers, saving you the hassle of commuting, which is incredibly convenient for business travelers. From the thoughtful room upgrade and meticulous check-in service to the super convenient travel experience, this hotel always gets the details just right. It consistently maintains a high standard, truly living up to its reputation as my repeatedly-visited gem. Next time I'm in Qingdao for a layover, I'll definitely choose this place again!

The hotel lobby is on the 26th floor, with guest rooms and all facilities above the 26th floor, and the buffet breakfast on the 27th floor. The indoor pool is heated, and the spa and gym are well-equipped. The front desk staff, especially the ladies, were very friendly and professional, and quick to resolve any issues. We had a great view overlooking Yantai city and Yantai Mountain. It snowed during our two-day stay, and the high-altitude snow view was absolutely stunning. The breakfast selection was quite rich, though there wasn't much meat. The only local specialties might have been Mianzi (a local jelly-like dish) and seafood noodles. Hotel guests got a special rate for breakfast, which was served promptly from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM. The room layout was well-designed, the facilities were new, and cleanliness was impeccable. The heating worked very well. Kids' amenities and latex pillows are available upon request from the front desk. The only issue was the slow delivery by the food delivery robot. It usually took an extra half an hour to receive our order after it had already arrived at the hotel.

The Executive Lounge was a bit of a headache. I took my child there in the evening for a drink, poured a glass of wine, and halfway through, my child suddenly had a stomach ache. I wanted to take the rest of the wine to the room, but the staff firmly refused to let me take it away. I then asked to speak to the manager, who was even more serious, stating that the wine glass was a fixed asset and if I took it, their salaries would be docked. I really want to know if they were just making up an excuse to fob me off, or if an InterContinental hotel truly inventories glass items so strictly that a missing one would lead to salary deductions. Besides, it would still be in a hotel room, right? If it wasn't there when I checked out, couldn't they just charge the customer from the pre-authorization? On a positive note, Xiao Meng at the breakfast buffet restaurant was incredibly warm and responsible. I forgot my glasses, and she specifically called to confirm and immediately brought them to my room, ensuring I didn't miss my flight. I wouldn't have even known where I lost them if she hadn't said anything. Other things were also done very well, like turning on the electric heater and preparing children's amenities in the room in advance.

When it comes to prime locations, no one beats the Shangri-La. Both the spring and city views are absolutely stunning. The Baotu Spring offers unique beauty in every season, and Quancheng Square is consistently spacious and prominent year-round. The hotel has been open for some years now. The public areas and facilities are still quite good, but the in-room amenities are rather outdated. The room isn't huge, and the bathroom feels a bit cramped. For the same room type, the InterContinental's bathroom design is much more practical. The in-room equipment definitely shows its age, though it's maintained reasonably well, and the cleanliness is excellent. The shower is ancient, lacking a rain shower head, and the handheld shower is difficult to use; no matter how I adjusted it, it sprayed towards the wall, making showering quite a hassle. The drainage isn't very smooth either. Even the clothes hangers are worn out but still in use. The complimentary drinking water is the cheapest kind available, and the dental kit is practically unusable. Shangri-La, can't you procure some better quality items? These aren't even expensive. Otherwise, you'll lose all your guests. I called guest services twice from the room phone, and no one picked up. It's quite surprising to encounter such a flaw in a five-star hotel. However, the overall service at Shangri-La is very good. The staff are warm, attentive, and polite. The Christmas atmosphere on the ground floor, both inside and out, is very festive. The excellent location significantly enhances the value for money at Shangri-La Jinan.

Service was great, but the breakfast buffet layout was a bit too spread out. I felt like I walked 2,000 steps just getting my food! On the plus side, the elevators were super fast.

Excellent stay experience. A hotel brand stands true for its reputation. My request for early check in was considered without any hassle. Was pleasantly surprised especially after a long journey. Could not use other services such as spa, gym etc. breakfast varied and really delicious ! Loved the design of room balcony and the view very much ! In room dining was quick and pleasant.

Our stay at the Qingdao Haitian Hotel was absolutely wonderful. We contacted the hotel in advance, hoping to get sea-view rooms facing different directions, and the front desk staff, Charlotte, was incredibly helpful in coordinating and arranging rooms with a better and more open view. My elderly family members were especially delighted. The room was clean and tidy, and the scenery was truly beautiful. Waking up to a full view of the sea just brightened our day. Throughout our stay, we experienced many thoughtful and meticulous services. On Valentine's Day, they even prepared roses, small gifts, and hand-drawn sand art – it was such a heartwarming gesture. Since the weather was a bit chilly, the hotel also provided warm patches and steam eye masks, which were very practical. When we found the pillows too soft, they promptly helped us change them to a more suitable type, with a very quick response time. Overall, the environment, hygiene, service, and facilities were all outstanding, earning a five-star rating across the board from us. A special thank you to Charlotte for her attentive and considerate care throughout our stay, which made our family vacation so warm and comfortable. We will definitely choose this hotel again when we visit Qingdao and will recommend it to our friends.

This old five-star hotel truly lives up to its reputation. Despite its age, it doesn't feel run-down at all. Instead, it exudes a rich heritage, showcasing its past glory which continues to shine brightly today. The two-meter wide bed was incredibly comfortable, and the hotel's service was simply delightful, making for a fantastic experience.

The Pullman Weifang is always my hotel of choice in Weifang, The European menu in the Cafe is a life saver serving anything from German sausages to burger or pizza to steaks. The buffet is equally good in the main restaurant where I enjoyed great lamb chops and drinks are included in the price which is a welcome relief. The hotel is located next door to a nice shopping mall and the rooms are large and spacious. The gym is extremely well kitted and the pool is amazing.

Dongying Wanda Realm hotel is very comfortable and the best I have stayed in Dongying. Spacious, quality rooms, very clean with excellent facilities, particularly the pool and gym, and with very attentive, pleasant and helpful staff, especially Andrew who has provided excellent assistance over my many stays. Highly recommended for short or long stays as the go-to hotel in Dongying.
