The photos online were misleading. Check-in was on the 3rd floor, not the 8th as stated. Luckily, I had an HK SIM to contact the property. Staff were friendly, but the room was extremely small with a strong chemical smell due to recent spraying without ventilation. There was no shower gel or shampoo provided, and one of the restroom doors was missing. The location is great, but overall, it's not a pleasant experience.

Finding a room with such great value for money in Hong Kong is truly a good find! The room isn't too small either, and it's close to all the places I wanted to visit. The MTR station is right downstairs, which is super convenient. The staff are very welcoming, and the owner is especially nice. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Hong Kong.

My overall experience staying at this hotel during my trip to Hong Kong was incredibly comfortable. Its prime location in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui makes it super convenient for shopping, exploring shops, trying local delicacies, or taking the MTR. When I had some free time, it was just a short walk to Victoria Harbour for a stroll and to enjoy the views. The room decor was simple yet stylish, and the soundproofing was effective enough that I barely heard any traffic or street noise. The bedding was very comfortable, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep every evening. The rooftop outdoor pool and sea-view bar offer fantastic views, with the entire Victoria Harbour panorama visible. It was great for relaxing by the pool during the day, and in the evening, having a drink while enjoying the view created an amazing ambiance. The hotel also has a 24-hour gym, so I didn't miss out on my daily workouts even while traveling. Housekeeping was meticulous, keeping every corner of the room clean and tidy. The staff, William and Jasmine, were very friendly and quick to help with any requests. The hotel's social lounge area had a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for sitting down and resting after a long day of exploring. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Hong Kong.

The hotel's environment and scenery are absolutely beautiful. This time, I went with my girlfriend to celebrate her birthday. The room facilities are top-notch. However, I did have one unpleasant experience. Initially, I booked this hotel through the platform because I saw that it had kitchen facilities and cooking utensils. But when I arrived on the day, I found there was no induction cooker or any related cooking tools. At the time, the hotel staff even mentioned that cooking was not allowed due to licensing issues. After some negotiation with both the platform and the hotel, they eventually provided an induction cooker, a frying pan, and some cutlery. I hope they will handle these details better in the future. Also, a HKD 500 deposit was required upon check-in, and I still haven't received it back since checking out on March 29th.

I had a lovely one‑night stay at Stanley Oriental Hotel in Hong Kong and would definitely recommend it for a relaxed, dog‑friendly getaway. The location by the waterfront is peaceful and close to shops, restaurants, and beautiful walks, making it perfect for both people and pets. The room was clean, comfortable and well‑laid out, with enough space for our dog to feel at ease. The staff were friendly and very accommodating about us bringing our dog, which made the whole stay feel more welcoming and stress‑free. There was no breakfast at the hotel, but that was completely fine since there are plenty of cafés and eateries nearby where we enjoyed a nice morning meal. Overall, it was a great value, comfortable stay with the added bonus of being able to travel with our furry companion.

It is very convenient to travel in Chungking Mansions. It is a ten-minute walk from the Avenue of Stars and Harbor City. The boss is very nice. When I arrived, it was very inconvenient because my phone ran out of battery before the check-in time. The boss saw that I was embarrassed and asked me to go ahead in advance. The customer service was excellent throughout, from the check-in process to the accommodation arrangements (the engineering staff, in particular, were very polite). Self-checkout was also convenient. The room itself was clean and well-equipped. The washing machine was a great amenity for long-term stays, and the tall refrigerator was perfect for chilling drinks. The water pressure in the shower was fantastic, and complimentary bottled water was provided. The insect repellent sample was a pleasant surprise. The night view of the Kap Shui Mun Bridge was stunning, and the surrounding area had a lovely resort-like vibe. I wouldn't recommend cooking, as the extractor fan wasn't effective at removing cooking fumes. There's an uphill walk to reach the accommodation, and Ma Wan has strict traffic control, making it difficult to find taxis willing to enter. Getting around the resort area involves a fair bit of walking, so it's definitely not ideal for elderly guests to stay long-term. The curtains weren't blackout, and the bedroom door had a glass panel, meaning the morning sun shone directly into the bedroom. The bed was positioned under a beam, which made for an uncomfortable sleep. Given that it's a converted village house, one can't expect too much.

The staff is warm and welcoming, the environment is comfortable, the room is clean and beautiful. The location is good, about 20 minutes by minibus from Sheung Shui Station, and then about 5 minutes walk to Liantang Port. In terms of cooking, you need to add money to rent a barbecue/gas stove, but the camp has a free breakfast, which tastes good. The camp has a 24-hour fitness room for use, but there are not many fitness equipment.
