This is a decent, standard airport hotel, very close to the airport. They offer a shuttle bus every half hour, though you can actually walk to the terminal. There's also an outlet mall next door for shopping and dining. The facilities are relatively new and have all the necessary amenities. Most of the staff are dedicated and helpful, though a very small number had slightly poor attitudes, which I can understand if they were on a night shift. Special thanks to the housekeeping staff, who were very warm, hospitable, and went out of their way to help guests, even providing a charging cable to a guest next door, which wasn't even part of her job. There was a faint lingering smell of smoke in the room when I entered, but that's not the hotel's fault; it's due to a previous guest violating the no-smoking policy.

I initially booked a room with a king-size bed and a view, but wasn't too happy with it upon checking in. I wanted to pay for an upgrade, but the hotel was fully booked that day. However, the next day, the butler promptly arranged an upgrade for us. Overall, the hotel is a bit on the older side, and breakfast was just okay. But the beach was fantastic – clean and with fine sand. The butler's gentlemanly service also greatly enhanced our stay, big thumbs up!

I've stayed at four Hilton hotels across Hainan, and this one definitely feels a bit old. Seriously, two or three outlets in our room (3517) were broken!?! And while the public areas are by the sea, they're not particularly beautiful and lack that relaxed, resort-like vibe. The pool isn't great either, and only one was open, so I didn't even bother using it. Breakfast was especially bad – they must be cutting corners too much! My husband even pointed out that their Hainan specialty 'Zaopo Vinegar' didn't even have any seafood in it!
Also, I have to speak up for the little animals. Those few squirrels are quite pitiful; their activity space is too small. It feels a bit like animal cruelty. They should be released; it would be a truly meritorious act!

My stay was initially quite pleasant. The front-line staff were consistently warm, attentive, and thoughtful throughout. When a small issue arose with our travel photos, the hotel promptly communicated and resolved it, which I appreciated. I thought I was going to have a wonderful experience, but it was completely ruined by one utterly unprofessional staff member, plummeting my satisfaction!
While riding the shuttle bus, we politely asked the shuttle driver about the hotel's attractions and photo spots. The driver was halfway through explaining when another person nearby suddenly interjected and answered for him! Her attitude was extremely rude, cold, and dismissive. She was sarcastic the entire time, even accusing us of not speaking clearly. We were just asking basic, straightforward questions about attractions, and I truly don't understand how we could have possibly expressed ourselves more 'clearly'. When we politely asked about photo spots, she flat-out said there weren't any, and was incredibly impatient. Yet, later we saw clear signs for photo spots all over the hotel. We got zero useful information, only a belly full of frustration and anger!
Afterward, the hotel told us this person was a 'secondary employee' and wasn't on duty, which is why she wasn't wearing an ID badge. I completely reject this flimsy explanation! Why was she wearing a uniform, riding a guest shuttle, and casually interjecting to address guests if she wasn't on duty? It's one thing to be unfamiliar with hotel operations and lack service awareness, but she didn't even have basic human decency. She seemed to be working with a chip on her shoulder, acting condescendingly, as if we, the guests, were accommodating her bad mood!
In stark contrast, all the other shuttle drivers were kind, friendly, patient, and enthusiastic, creating an incredibly jarring difference! The hotel's reputation, carefully built by its front-line staff, was completely destroyed by this 'secondary employee' who showed no rules, no professionalism, and no respect. The hotel merely offered a casual explanation of her identity without any indication of intending to improve. Such tolerance for employee misconduct is truly disheartening. I will never recommend this hotel, nor will I ever stay here again!

While the hotel exterior didn’t quite match the photos on the booking platform, our actual stay was very pleasant. The highlight was the exceptional customer service. We had an issue with cigarette smoke drifting into our room, but the lady duty manager went above and beyond to move us to a room of our choosing.
The location is excellent - surrounded by cafes, bakeries, and restaurants - and perfect for anyone wanting an authentic local experience. A heads-up for international travellers: breakfast is strictly Chinese cuisine with no Western options (coffee, tea, or bread). Would be good if hotel can improve smoke control, particularly in the elevators and lobby area. Overall, a recommended stay for service and convenience!

I stayed in a garden view suite, which was on the first floor of Building 5. It wasn't far from the lobby, just a two to three-minute walk, and there were on-demand shuttle carts if I didn't feel like walking. The room was spacious, and the amenities and facilities were all excellent. The staff provided great service; any requests could be made via WeChat to the butler or by phone. I often saw planes flying overhead, but it didn't disturb my sleep at all at night; it was actually a unique sight. The public areas were also beautiful, and I had a fantastic time at the swimming pool, which catered to both adults and children. I even caught a bubble bath by chance! Oh, and there's a beach very close to the hotel, just a three-minute walk away. It wasn't crowded, and while the waves were a bit big for swimming that day, it was perfect for kids to dig in the sand and enjoy the breeze. The hotel is also very close to the airport, making travel convenient. I'd definitely come back again if I have the chance!

Location, Cleanliness, Facilities: The location on the west coast is quite convenient. The room's cleanliness is good, and the facilities are complete, including a kids' play area. The concierge and security proactively offered to help with our luggage and asked if we needed butler service.
Highlights: Both the room and the lobby have information brochures about the hotel's facilities and nearby tourist services.
Upon check-in, the front desk also provided a detailed information sheet, which helped reduce guest anxiety and waiting time by having so much information readily available.
In the evening, the lobby bar even had live music, creating a great atmosphere. There aren't many resort-style hotels like this in Haikou, which is a big plus! 👍
Minor incident: During check-in, the front desk mentioned they'd send welcome fruit. My child overheard it and kept asking that evening why it hadn't arrived. I didn't think much of it at the time, so I didn't follow up.

I was absolutely wowed the moment I stepped into the hotel lobby! The high ceilings paired with cloud-shaped chandeliers and a dynamic wave sculpture created a grand and artistic design. The marble walls and lighting added a luxurious touch, making every corner Instagram-worthy. What a fantastic first impression!
I was so pleasantly surprised to find that the hotel had added a yoga studio this stay! The overall ambiance is incredibly comfortable; the all-glass design provides excellent natural light, making it bright and clean, and the blue yoga mats instantly made me feel relaxed. All the equipment – yoga rings, foam rollers, yoga blocks – were new and neatly organized. Even the mirrors and resting area were thoughtfully arranged. Doing a yoga session here in the morning, with the breeze and the outdoor scenery, was truly the most healing part of my vacation. This hotel really understands what guests need! I found my vacation zen in the new yoga studio 🌿 After my session, I felt completely stretched out, and my mind slowed down. A vacation isn't just about lazing around; a yoga session here is a real re-energizing moment.
And the hotel's sky garden is simply delightful 🌅 Lying on the lawn watching the sunset in the evening, with the sky painted in soft pink and orange hues, was magical. The palm trees, sun loungers, and shell-shaped installations made for perfect vacation photo ops. The garden is immaculately maintained, with lush greenery. It's ideal for sunbathing and unwinding, or chatting with friends – truly a little oasis hidden in the city, providing a full-blown vacation vibe! The time spent here just gazing at the sea was incredibly relaxing. I found the perfect way to unwind on vacation in the hotel's sky garden 🌿 The evening breeze carried the scent of the ocean, and lying on a sun lounger watching the sunset slowly fall, doing absolutely nothing, felt incredibly peaceful.
The hotel's seafood buffet is absolutely incredible! Especially the sashimi section – the freshness and variety are top-notch! Salmon, tuna, octopus, and other sashimi were all freshly sliced, with beautiful marbling and a sweet, tender texture, completely free of any fishy taste. It was incredibly satisfying. Besides sashimi, the seafood stalls had a rich selection of ingredients, and there were also many unique Japanese cuisine stations. The overall atmosphere was great, and even the photo spots were super creative, allowing for both dining and great pictures. If you're on vacation, you *have* to try this – experiencing seafood freedom on holiday is just the best feeling! 💯
I was so touched by the housekeeper's thoughtful service during our family stay! Knowing we had a child, the housekeeper proactively prepared kids' toiletries and bathrobes for us, and even kindly reminded us of the kids' club hours and pool safety precautions. They took care of us throughout our stay, quickly resolving any issues, which made our family vacation so much easier and stress-free!
The room service was excellent! The room was spotless inside and out, and the bedding was fresh and comfortable. The cleanliness of the room truly exceeded expectations! The floors, tables, and bathroom were all meticulously cleaned, with not a speck of dust in the corners. The bedding was also changed promptly, making our stay very reassuring. The cleaning staff were very thorough and friendly, always greeting us when they passed by. Their service was very thoughtful, showing attention to detail in everything they did. With kids, cleanliness is paramount, and the hotel's room cleaning was superb. Every day, returning to the room felt like staying in a brand new space – clean, fresh, and utterly delightful.
I highly recommend this incredible hotel to everyone.

DDaidaizeiAs a frequent business traveler, I've stayed in countless hotels, and this one truly offers incredible value for money! The room layout is well-designed, with a spacious desk and strong Wi-Fi signal, perfectly meeting my work needs. The front desk staff were very efficient with both check-in and check-out, and they even provided a complimentary airport shuttle service, saving me a lot of time and effort. The hotel environment is quiet, ideal for both rest and work, and the surrounding transportation is convenient, making it easy to get to the business district. I highly recommend it to business travelers – a truly reliable hotel!
HHweiling OwThe place was hard to find. There are tonnes of shop lots at the bottom of one entrance, and the other entrance had a large open area with stairs that goes up. The security guard I asked did not recognise the name, and there is no obvious signs that I could pick up. (I cannot read mandarin). I dont think there was any other way aside from contacting the person via the app. Even if you found the entrance, there is no obvious reception area.
We had to ring the contact person on the Trip.com app, and I had family who could speak mandarin to help guide the rest of the process. He is helpful and quick to respond. He brought us through a metal door, to a dark alleyway with lifts inside. If we weren't in a group of seven, I would have worried about my organs at this point.
There was a bit of a juggle with my cousins and my side of the family. So I ended up staying in the THREE BEDROOM APARTMENT. The layout of the three bedroom apartment (located on the 18th floor) that we ended up in is similar to the two bedroom apartment with the lounge carved up to create a new bedroom. apartment is quick to respond. The two bedroom apartment (located on the 25th floor) felt bigger and cleaner, and had better views.
From here onwards, it is the review for the THREE BEDROOM APARTMENT: We ran out of toilet paper and had air-conditioning issues. The contact person is quick to respond and solve our issues. The beds are hard for my body that is use to a softer version. There is no daily cleaning services that suits us. They supply toothbrushes, shower caps, body and shampoo wash in the bathroom, and disposable towels. The towels can be reused during the time you are there, but they are meant to be thrown away so they dont have the responsibility to rewash the towels. We didn't use the swimming pool on the third floor as we were too busy. It is RMB4 per use. They also supply a singular giant bottle of water. I think it was 5 litres. The air conditioning units in all three rooms work. Our view is a live view of how Sanya people live in Sanya, families in another building, the locals sitting on their balcony on a hot day.
You get a couple of tags to tag into the building, out of the building, into the lift, and into the bedroom. There is also a code you can type in to get access into the building. When we left, the contact person helped us with getting a taxi to the hotel. It went through his account and we paid him cash rounding up to the closest amount. He did not want any more for helping us. He was extremely helpful.
This is one of the cheaper choices in Sanya - and my rating is for the price and location.
GGuest UserA Private Rendezvous with the Azure Sea and Sky
First Encounter: A Secluded Villa Shrouded by Coconut Groves
As the car drove onto the private driveway of Sanya Haitang Bay, with coconut trees lining both sides like green sentinels welcoming us, I instantly understood the meaning of ”tropical paradise.” This private villa is nestled within a 20-acre private garden, surrounded by century-old trees and tropical flowers, feeling like an isolated oasis. The main building's off-white architecture blends perfectly with the natural landscape, and the floor-to-ceiling windows frame the 180-degree sea view into a dynamic painting, with every corner reflecting the designer's ingenuity.
Space: A Poetic Dialogue Between Modernity and Nature
The villa's interior is a symphony of minimalism and tropical charm. The vaulted ceilings in the high-ceilinged living room allow the sea breeze to flow freely, and the wooden furniture and rattan decorations exude a rustic warmth. The most stunning feature is the master bedroom's ”stargazing hot tub”; at night, soaking in the private pool while gazing at the starry sky, with the distant sound of waves as natural white noise, is simply magical. The guest rooms are equally well-appointed, each with an independent viewing terrace, waking up to sunshine and birdsong in the morning, and falling asleep to the sound of the waves at night.
Service: Invisible Luxury Experience
The butler team acted as invisible guardians, from the chilled towels upon arrival to the rose petals on the bed at night; every detail was meticulously designed. A private chef could customize a seafood feast according to our preferences. Enjoying freshly caught groupers and wagyu hot pot under the stars, accompanied by custom cocktails, was a dual feast for the taste buds and vision. Most memorable was the morning yoga session, where a professional instructor led us on the ocean-facing terrace, allowing us to feel the sea breeze and achieve a spiritual awakening.
Activities: Tailor-Made Island Time
The villa offers a rich selection of activities: morning kayaking adventures, afternoon surfing lessons, and evening yacht parties. We chose a sunset cruise, witnessing the sky's gradient from azure to crimson on a private yacht, with champagne bubbles dancing with the waves. Upon our return, the butler had already arranged a sea-view dinner, with candles and lanterns creating a dreamy light strip on the beach.
Reflection: Redefining the Meaning of Vacation
This is not just accommodation; it's a proposal for a lifestyle. Merging with the sea and sky in the infinity pool, rewatching classic movies in the outdoor cinema, and leaving footprints on the private beach. Every design element of the villa speaks volumes: true luxury is not about material accumulation but about the depth of dialogue with nature and oneself. On the morning of departure, I took away not just photos but also a memory of a slow-paced life, reminding us that in this fast-paced world, there's always a sea worth pausing for.
Postscript: This place taught me that the highest level of vacation is becoming a ”temporary islander” – exploring the secrets of coral reefs during the day, listening to local Tanka stories by the bonfire at night, and ultimately returning to daily life with a soul caressed by the sea breeze.
GGuest UserThis stay exceeded my expectations! The hotel's location is fantastic, right next to the subway station, making it incredibly convenient for shopping and dining. The front desk lady checked me in quickly and even recommended nearby restaurants. The room was incredibly clean, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and it was incredibly quiet at night, allowing for a deep sleep. The bathroom had plenty of hot water with just the right pressure, and the toiletries smelled fresh. The breakfast was varied, with both Chinese and Western options, and the ingredients were fresh and delicious. They even gave me a small gift upon check-out, which was so heartwarming! I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in the area; the value for money is excellent, and I highly recommend it!
GGuest UserThe environment is very good. My family is very satisfied. The room is large and clean. The community environment is also very good. It is only a 10-minute walk from the beach, which is very convenient. The living facilities in the room are complete and suitable for living. There is a swimming pool outside the house. The scenery is very good. The surrounding transportation is also very convenient. It is very comfortable to live~
RRenee LeeWe had a beautiful view of the sea from our cave-like room but the cleanliness left much to be desired. We often saw bugs in the toilet 🚽 so that freaked me out a little. The towels also seemed very old and used, so bring your own if possible.
The service was great though, simply connect with them via WeChat and they will check in and share more info with you during your stay.
There was complimentary afternoon tea daily, which is basically a drink and four tiramisu cake cubes. The drink is alright, but the cakes you can skip.
The room package includes a photoshoot too. While they offer 3 complimentary soft copies of the photos taken by a photographer, note that they are unedited. After seeing the edited version, it usually makes you want to pay more for the edited version.
Lastly, the hotel location requires a short walk through white dragon street after alighting by car, so bear that in mind for accessibility. It’s great for walking around, exploring the town and access to the beach.
PPaul. SHotel has 6 floors with 1 lift. Average size room. Big windows, Queen bed with 2 pillows, 2 bedside tables. 1 round table with chair. Std amenities with paper cups. Laundry has 1 washer and 1 dryer. Separate bath/toilet, bath, face towels. Floor towel mat. Small area but OK. Water flow out and wet toilet area although separated. No rain shower. Big slippers. Adequate hangers and hooks. Power sockets not well placed. Good location opposite People's Park. Buses to everywhere including railway station and airport. Plenty of food stalls, restaurants, convenience stores, shopping malls nearby. Very popular hotel. Breakfast simple but good.

FFankeerThis guesthouse is absolutely my aesthetic! The Santorini-style white walls make every corner a photo op. As soon as I walked in, I was struck by the huge floor-to-ceiling windows. The entire glass wall perfectly frames the sea; you can just lounge on the sofa and watch the ocean – it’s pure bliss. I spent ages just listening to music and daydreaming. The rooftop offers expansive views where the sky and sea merge into one. If it's not too hot, you can head up there for a nice breeze. In the evenings, I'd put on the projector, cozy up, and watch shows until I drifted off to sleep. The beach is just a few steps away. This is one of those slow-paced, laid-back beach towns. Strolling along the shore is incredibly therapeutic.
GGuest UserThe boss is very good. We were also recommended by the driver's master to go to Houhai. Then we went to the hotel we found. First, we found a hotel. The environment was not very good. Finally, we found the boss. This one (Xia Yiliuguang Hotel) was originally going to stay for a day and left. The hotel did not make people lose. Looking at the environment room, you can see the sea. The boss is also very good. I stayed for three consecutive days and walked for three days. It is also convenient to eat, drink and play. I will come to Sanya next time. I will continue to stay at this hotel.
