Tolani Resort Koh Kood

Excellent resort in a perfect setting. The staff are brilliant, very attentive. The air conditioned rooms are good standard with very comfortable large bed and fantastic shower. A good choice of breakfast. Don’t forget to bring some mosquito repellent! I would also recommend the massage service - a bit pricey for Thailand but you are on an island and it’s well worth it👌

A wonderful hotel where we were lucky enough to stay for 5 days. Large, beautiful territory where you can walk and admire the peacocks that live on the territory. There is a swimming pool, massage. You can play table tennis, billiards, ride a kayak and a SUP board. Excellent staff - very smiling, friendly and helpful guys. Very tasty and varied breakfasts, like a ”buffet” The restaurant is open all day - where you can come to eat or order food to your room or to the beach ... The cooks cook very tasty! Since the territory is located separately, you can order a car at the reception and the driver will take you to the store for free or take you to the White Saint beach. In the evenings it is very quiet and calm, so the holiday is suitable for a family holiday with children, as well as for those who want peace and quiet .. Well, if you want to explore the island at your disposal - rent bikes, which we took advantage of. And we were very pleased - the island is beautiful! I definitely recommend visiting this hotel!

Klong Prao Beach
This is my fourth visit to Koh Chang and my second stay at this hotel. The hotel service is very good and the waiters are very enthusiastic. The hotel environment is also good and the breakfast is even better. The epidemic has caused great damage to the hotel. The seaside resort is a bit old. I hope it can be renovated in the future because it is so beautiful.

A relatively remote hotel. The facilities and environment are clean and comfortable. The restaurant opening hours are too short. From 8 am to 6 pm, it is inconvenient that there is no restaurant nearby.

Serenity resort Amazing hotel - would highly recommend staying here. We stayed at serenity resort for 2 nights on arriving at Koh Chang from Bangkok. The location is so so idyllic and relaxing, absolutely beautiful. We also stayed on the west side of the island for a couple of nights and while it is quieter on the east side of the island (ie, there is no point in leaving the resort in the evening as there is nothing really to do on the east side after dark) this is exactly what we were after. The staff could not be more helpful and accommodating. Food and drinks at the restaurant were great and reasonably priced. Very clean and comfortable accommodation. Lovely view. As other reviews have said, if you are staying here you will likely want your own transport so you can explore. We rented a moped from the resort at a very reasonable price. If you want to rent a car make sure you have an intl driving permit (takes a few mins to obtain but must do whilst in the UK). There’s barely any traffic on this side of the island so the drive down to long beach at the south of the island felt very safe on a moped despite the hills (and would be the same in a car). The resort staff recommended us to do this and then get kayaks over to Koh ngam, which we did and was a great experience! The other option is to rent a taxi for a day (we were quoted c2500 baht for 6 hours) and they can drop you wherever you like and wait for you. Thanks again for a lovely stay at serenity resort!!

White Sand Beach
Amazing staff who did all they could to correct any issues. Nice clean room with fridge and kettle etc. Housekeeping were fantastic. Great beachfront location, nice pool, nice restaurant and comfort bed in the heart of town but not loud at night at all, ideal for those wanting to be in town but not party too hard

Klong Prao Beach
Room was big and spacious, very comfortable bed and clean soft towels. A good variety of continental options for breakfast, only 2 or 3 Thai options. The hotel was almost empty for the first night, but got busier over the Thai Bank Holiday weekend (low season visit, August), so there was plenty of loungers and parasols around the pool. Bonus points for direct access to the beach! A few niggles with the amenities. The pool needed some maintenance - the step tiles were crumbling and I was worried of cutting my feet. There wasn't a guide or anything in the hotel room such as numbers for reception or if room service was possible. Overall enjoyed my 3 night break and the hotel staff were very friendly, would stay again.

We loved this hotel and after travelling around and speaking to others I definitely think this is one of the best resorts on the island. Pros: + The staff! They are so lovely and made our stay more enjoyable. + The rooms are great with a small balcony. + The pool area! We loved dipping in and out of the pool, and the Jacuzzi! + Food was nice + you can hire bikes (mopeds) from the hotel + price + The grounds are beautiful + The hotel will help with Taxis etc Cons: - The nearest 7-11 etc is over 20 mins walk - There were lots of ants round the pool area … we found out there was an infestation this year (not just on this island). It would be great if staff could go around spraying the area. I am not sure if they did. We are regularly at a small independently owned place called Sapporat’s, owned by Deano and his wife ***. You do have to wait a while for your food (because *** is the only one cooking) but it’s so worth it! Great home cooked food and a lovely atmosphere looking over the river. It’s only a 5 minute walk away from the hotel. We were also recommend a cooking class by Deano and his wife … with Bonnie. It was amazing. We started at 9:30am and didn’t finish until 2pm. You eat at the class and can even take your curry back with you. You also can choose from a selection of dishes, you don’t have to make the same as everyone else!

The wCham’s house is a wonderful place , very well located on great beach … But … the staff doesn’t speak very well English ( apart from the responsable persons in every service) . But gettinginformation at the reception is very difficult and getting g the right info at the restaurant ( apart from the menu) is also not possible. The management should really invest in English courses for their staff , as well as invest in the maintenance ( very , very poor) . It looks like that after the pandemic, the owners of Cham’s house want to earn a maximum of money , without investing.. it’s a pity that this wonderful place is loosing it’s glamour ..

I was impressed by the clean private room and the elaborate meals (the breakfast was amazing!). The staff are fluent in English and Thai, so communication was not a problem. The staff also frequently looked after the guests, so I was satisfied with my stay. I gave it a low score because the location is 30 minutes by car from the pier. However, transportation can be arranged by contacting the resort. As this is a resort where you can escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, there are no work desks or TVs. I recommend that you relax here.
