Guest UserHonestly, this hotel was a bit of a letdown. The first room was incredibly small – so small you couldn't even open a 20-inch suitcase anywhere but by the door. There was no desk, and the bedside table was comically large, also doubling as a clothes hanger. There was a friendly Chinese lady at the front desk, which was a plus. However, in that particular room (I forget the number), there was an inner window that not only wouldn't open but faced directly onto the hallway, so you could hear every little noise. Not ideal if you're sensitive to sound. Also, they provide no toiletries whatsoever; you have to bring everything yourself.
On the upside, the location is convenient. Turn left out of the hotel for a supermarket, and turn right for the sea. It's also an easy walk to the Rainbow Street in the city center. Secondly, there's the price. In Iceland, where hotels typically start at 1,000 ISK, finding a place for around 900 ISK with a private bathroom is rare. It's suitable for budget travelers or those on daily tours who don't spend much time in their room. One more thing: luggage storage costs money, around 5 euros, and requires a QR code payment. I tried to pay with cash, and the front desk guy seemed quite flustered, like he wasn't used to it.

Hands down the best hostel in Iceland! The common areas are incredibly clean, and the private bathrooms with showers are a huge plus. It's super warm inside – almost too warm! The bedding is really soft, and the kitchen is fully equipped for cooking.

sindhupFoss hotel Reykjavik is a great place, conveniently located next to Bus stop 12 where all the tour operators pick up and drop off as well as Fly bus tdrop off and pick up. The hotel is very clean and safe. I have a fantastic experience with the staff in front desk and house keeping. I was a solo traveller and I asked guidance to the front desk on some places that i wanted to go within and near Reykjavik. Tge front desk staff, he gave me suggestions and helped me book the show ticket. He gave me clear instructions and seeing my lost look , even gave me the hootel phone numbers to call him in case I run into trouble. But thanks to his clear guidance I managed to navigate well and had a great day out. This hotel is about 15 to 20mrs from city centre by walk. One day I forgot my gold chain in the room. But the housekeeping folks while cleaning did not even touch any valuable stuff that i left. It is really a very reliable and safe hotel. They have a restaurant that serves delicioys food. I ate their fish and chips and chicken salad. Both were great. The breakfast has a good spread. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The best part is still the excellent service from the staff. My trip got rebooked and i had multiple correspondence with the staff and they were always prompt and reassuring. The only downside of the whole stay was my room. I got a corner room which had a slanted corner shape, meaning a triangle cut off from a rectangle. Though nicely laid out, i felt claustrophobic as the room size was much smaller. That room is not ideal, especially if not solo.

Service provided by Ginta was excellent! Initially we were assigned to a room on the 3rd floor, which would have been impossible for us as there was no elevator and we had two big luggages. Ginta was very helpful and accommodating to our request, she called her manager and helped us to change rooms to the first floor.
We also had to leave early by 7:30am the next day for a tour, but breakfast officially only starts at 7:30am. Ginta helped to arrange and ensure we had breakfast before we left.
Location is great, less than a 5 minute walk to bus stop #8 and Hallgrimskirkja church. It was also easy to walk to Rainbow street, Laugavegur and other attractions.

Anonymous User1. It's located outside the main city area of Rayong, and we had to circle a few times to find parking when we arrived at night.
2. There's a washer and dryer, but the dryer isn't very efficient. What made it worse was that even with everyone waiting in line, the staff insisted on drying a huge pile of dishcloths needed for the next morning. This caused the dryer to keep restarting, and we ended up waiting until 2-3 AM for our turn.
3. Breakfast variety is okay.
4. The room size is decent, but you can't open four large suitcases at once.
5. The room door is really odd; you have to slam it shut with a lot of force for it to lock.
Overall, it's a hotel I'd be willing to revisit.

Guest UserExtremely satisfied with this hotel! First off, the staff were all very polite and friendly. Also, before checking into this hotel, we had just finished an 8-day, 7-night island tour. Since there were luggage size restrictions on the tour, it was a huge relief that this hotel allowed us to store some of our luggage while we were away.
Upon entering the room, the facilities were even better than expected. There was plenty of space to put our belongings and hang clothes. The lotion provided was also very useful, especially given how dry it can be in the room.
I will definitely book this hotel again if I come back to Iceland!

SarahThis hotel easily meets a four-star standard. The facilities are great, and the rooms are very new. They offer free parking and the location is convenient. There's complimentary coffee at the front desk. Since it gets dark late, the sunset view from the floor-to-ceiling window was beautiful. I'd definitely book this hotel again next time, it's excellent value for money!

My stay at the Hilton Reykjavik Nordica was, overall, very satisfying. The hotel itself is spacious and comfortable, with a clean and modern design that perfectly captures the fresh Scandinavian aesthetic, while also offering the refinement and convenience expected of a high-quality accommodation. The front desk staff were excellent; check-in and check-out were efficient, and communication was smooth, making them feel both professional and attentive. My room was spotless and quite spacious, with a comfortable bed that ensured a great night's sleep. The attention to cleanliness details made me feel very secure and at ease. The hotel breakfast is also commendable, with a wide variety of fresh options that perfectly met my dining needs during the trip. While not in the absolute city center, the location is still convenient for getting around, and the quiet surroundings are ideal for a good rest. The hotel's facilities are comprehensive, providing a consistent and reliable stay. Whether for a business trip or a leisure vacation, you'll experience excellent service and quality here. All in all, this hotel offers a great combination of comfort, service, and brand assurance. My entire stay was pleasant and effortless, making it a highly recommended and quality accommodation option when visiting Reykjavik.

The location is great and convenient especially for us who booked the day tours and it’s 4-5min walk to bus stop 4.
Especially the receptionist Rica is really kind and helpful and she generously offered us an upgraded.
And we do appreciate the CNY greetings both from the reception but also for the card with orange. Also as my hubby’s birthday is during the stay, I asked months before if birthday decorations is available and eventually got a birthday cake and a card but with wrong name lol
The facility (needs to turn off the lights one by one instead of all-in-one) and hygine situation is not that good in terms of the 5-star hotel. (Hair in the sheet cover and the toilet)(no clean up for the desserts)
The tides restaurant and cafe is good and worth trying with ISK 7000 credit for the restaurant.
No chance to try the spa.
