The room was a bit cramped, only fitting two beds. The beds were clean and tidy, and it was very quiet. The bathroom only had a shower, and the setup made it quite easy to get your hair wet. The biggest convenience was the free parking.

Hotel Muli provides a clean, modern, and welcoming stay that stands out for its exceptional service and quality amenities. Based on a two-night stay, this hotel is a superb option for travelers prioritizing comfort and value slightly outside the immediate city center. Highlights & Service The staff's attention to detail was a defining feature. Following an advance notification, the hotel upgraded our room and decorated it with ”Happy Birthday” balloons and a complimentary bottle of non-alcoholic fizz—an incredibly generous and much-appreciated gesture that demonstrated top-tier customer care. Comfort and Amenities The rooms are consistently clean and modern. A practical benefit is the availability of free tea, coffee, and hot chocolate in the reception area, which is perfect for warming up after a day of exploring Iceland. Food Experience The breakfast is superb. It offers high-quality ingredients, great variety, and is clearly set up to cater to all dietary needs, complemented by genuinely great coffee. Location and Verdict The location is ideal—it’s friendly staff are helpful, and it’s not too far to walk to the main town area, balancing accessibility with a slightly quieter setting. We would definitely choose to stay here again. Even saw whales in the bay, amazing!

The hotel has a diverse breakfast and the front desk service is also very good, but the room facilities are old, especially the washbasin is very small, and the shower water is very small and old.

Very convenient location, no. 12 bus stop is just around the corner of the hotel. Can walk to the city centre in 15-20 minutes. Breakfast is very good with big variety of food. Will stay in this hotel again next time when visit Iceland.

friendly staff, the sauna and hot tub were clean and nice。。。。our room was perfect, but if you are picky with drinking water, bring your own to the room。the water from the tab is drinkable, but has a lot of sulfur in it and smells this way。 the breakfast was very good, different coffee, waffles, bread, porridge, fruits,。。。。

Lovely clean and spacious room. Nice little kitchen area with microwave to heat food. Buffet breakfast was OK. Personally not to my taste, but that is only my opinion. The 16 year old with us loved the waffles with the choice of toppings! The porridge which I do enjoy was good day 1 but very watery day 2. Choice of bread that could be toasted, margarine (Sorry I am a butter fan!), preserves, ham, cheese, boiled eggs, tomatoes etc. Free coffee wasn't great - again I'm a coffee snob and like a good cup of filter coffee. I did notice there was coffee to buy. The room was great and the staff very helpful. We were able to park right outside our room. Good location for Reykjavik by car, Thingvellir National Park etc. We travelled from here to both and also to Snaefellsnes Peninsula, which was worth the drive. Also we visited Rekyholt, Barnafoss and Hraunfossar waterfalls, Deildartunguhver Thermal Spring - try the tomato soup!

The value for money was pretty average, and the breakfast was quite basic. The room was actually pretty small; it was difficult to even open two suitcases. However, there's a bus stop right outside the hotel's restaurant, which was very convenient. You'll also find plenty of gift shops just across the street.

A good little hotel that works for a single traveler. Everything is basic but works and rooms look nicely renovated. There's just no elevator for those with a lot of luggage and the windows are very thin so you hear all the noise from the outside especially if you're facing the church.

The location of the hotel is a bit out of the way, but it was only used as a stopover so it didn't matter too much, and for travelling around Reykjavik we recommend booking another Hilton Curio Select hotel. Facilities in the room were fair and worthy of the Hilton name.

GGuest UserI traveled solo to Iceland and chose this hostel. The location and price are definitely unbeatable, as long as you don't mind a shared, unisex bathroom – and yes, there's only one! 😂 The main challenge for me was my heavy 20kg suitcase; my room was on the third or fourth floor, which made carrying it up quite a struggle. So, if you're a woman staying here and have light luggage, it's perfectly fine! As for the positives, there's a quiet area to work, and sharing a room with other women was peaceful. The location is also great for nearby attractions, about a 10-minute walk away.

GGuest UserI recently had the pleasure of staying at Guesthouse Aurora, where the charm of the establishment was only matched by the warmth of its hosts. Nestled in a convenient location next to the Church, the guesthouse presented itself as an inviting home away from home, perfect for travelers looking for an authentic and personal touch to their accommodation. Before arrival, we were worried that we cannot checkin because we took a night flight. However, when i called the staff, he answered that even our arrival time is out of customer service, he could leave the key and PIN code for us to self-checkin, he also went beyond to ensure a smooth check-in process. Their attention to detail and eagerness to assist with any inquiries set the tone for a delightful stay. The guesthouse itself boasted a quaint and cozy atmosphere, with communal areas that were well-kept and adorned with tasteful decorations, offering a homely comfort that was immediately noticeable. The included breakfast was a highlight of the stay, featuring a generous spread of both local and continental options, freshly prepared and sure to satisfy a variety of tastes. The morning meal provided a wonderful opportunity to mingle with other guests and exchange travel tales, all while enjoying the delightful array of food. However, it's worth noting that the room space was somewhat compact. While the room was impeccably clean and well-equipped with the necessary amenities, the limited space could pose a slight inconvenience, especially for those with a significant amount of luggage or a

GGuest UserI visited in the summer, but I noticed a very large set of radiators on the wall that weren't turned on, suggesting it would be warm enough in winter. The hotel is very clean, and the decor is really nice. Having traveled to several European countries, I found the hotel's price to be very reasonable, and the room quality was excellent.

WWyw112The bus hostel is really near the airport and quite walkable to major sightseeing like 20-30 minutes. Yet the Windows curtain could not even cover it well so if you sleep near a Windows in summer (as the night will be very bright) You will affect by the light. There was men snoring really hard so it affect as well (though this is not about the hotel) I got nose allergy and the entire time I stay in the hotel and it makes me feel very sick. The self check in system is quite good, yet the reception will be locked after 9pm(?) I was coming back at 10pm and there was no staff help unlocking the main entrance which the password is different. They provide no information about this. A few of us (new guests or those coming back) are locked outside until a guest know the password show up. This certainly not a good service at all. The toilet has automatic light which is Environmental friendly I like it, but it went off when I only have a short time in the toilet, this really not quite good. But the location is good and there is bus travel tour pick up from here.

Aalexr1Nice apartments in a very convenient location. I have stayed in the main hotel before and was impressed so chose the apartments for my trip this time. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable as well. The two bed apartment had plenty of space, very well furnished and warm. The kitchen had everything you would need (apart from a microwave though). There was a smart TV with all the streaming apps. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom had soap and shower gel/shampoo. There is limited parking for the apartments but I knew that beforehand (to be expected in city centre). There is 4 parking spaces out the back you can use but parking on the street is free from 9pm-9am. Only downside is it was quite noisy which kept me up on Saturday night. Nothing they can control of course but something to note (it was fine rest of the week). Also for longer stays it would be better if more storage for clothes/luggage was available. Great stay regardless :)
