We had a fantastic stay, great location for visiting the music festival at Delapre Abbey. The room was spacious and clean, staff friendly and helpful. Lots of parking. The breakfast was an additional charge and not the cheapest but very delicious.

We stayed here at Rushton Hall, May bank holiday weekend. We decided we needed something different, something special this bank holiday and this place did not disappoint one little bit. Its fair to say that this place has a rare, quiet and magical feel to it. From the moment we drove up the drive and stepped inside, the modern world just seemed to fade away. The manor’s old-world charm isn’t just in the architecture; it’s in the incredible sense of calm that settles over you. We stayed in the zodiac room, and was wowed as soon as we stepped into it, stunning... just WOW! The spa is super indulgent and relaxing just what you need with the amazing setting. The staff are great too, they are really attentive. Breakfast was exceptional was going to give it a miss but glad we didn't, highly recommend having it if your staying so many high end quality options to choose from. We had an absolutely beautiful stay. The house has a wonderful, timeless character that makes you slow down and breathe. If you’re looking for genuine relaxation and a touch of something special, this is it. A total sanctuary we both left there feeling completely restored, and relaxed. We cant wait to return.

Friendly and helpful front desk staff who provided tourism ideas on check-in as they weren’t busy. Room had been recently renovated such that there were two outlets on the desk with 1 embedded USB A socket and 1 embedded USB C socket. Ironing board sighted on the wardrobe unit in case visiting for business. Power socket by headboards as well so devices can be charged overnight as well. Desk was decent size so if you needed to do some work, laptop can be opened to work. Slightly thinner desk (ie, not super deep) though so less suitable for work-cation if you need to work from your room the whole day. Small gym in the basement. Would stay again for the convenience of being within walking distance of the station and friendly, helpful staff.

Accessible room was good apart from having to go through very heavy fire doors to get to room so wouldn't manage alone. Couldn't have a shower due to to there only been a shower seat and not chair. Food at dinner and breakfast was lovely. Service was great at dinner but at breakfast I found one person wouldn't listen when I said no to things. I had carried my breakfast to the table was just about to put onto the table, it was taken out of my hand and put onto table without being me asked to where it nearly dropped on the floor. Handed our key back to reception 2 men working behind the desk seemed lovely but didn't ask how our stay was and just took the key off us. Must add though lady on reception when we arrived and during the evening was very welcoming, very helpful and so were thrle restaurant staff in the evening

Hotel was clean and cosy, with modern bathroom. The staff were really lovely, and the breakfast was great. The general atmosphere is also lovely. When we got there, the radio was switched on, and I haven't listened to the radio in such a long time, it was a nice touch. This hotel paid attention to small details and it made our stay more enjoyable. Breakfast at the hotel was delicious, and cost was reasonable. There were a range of serials, toast and jams available, along with juices and fresh milk. The local restaurants are also highly rated, we ate at Tuana and The Ship Inn, and had recommendations from locals about where else to go, if we had time we would have loved to try Dexter's! We're so happy to have stayed here! Con: £25 early check in charge, even though the room was ready and pre-booked.

His was friendly and welcoming. Thankfully he saw us just lingering outside as we weren’t sure how to get in. Showed about room. Room was okay, nice size, clean enough, a few wear and tear marks. However, although we have a small kitchenette, there was no fridge to store food, and also no cooling supplies, or utensils even so had we wanted to cook we would’ve been at a means end. Great to have the facilities, would be better if we were provided a few basics to use them. Also, we had no towels. This wasn’t much of an issue as we were only staying a night whilst a family member was in the hospital but would not have been ideal for a longer stay.

I recently stayed at Days Inn by Wyndham Watford Gap and had a comfortable experience. The highlight of my stay was the reception staff, especially one gentleman who was incredibly polite and helpful. He made the check-in process smooth and ensured all my needs were met. The room was clean, cozy, and equipped with everything I needed for a pleasant night’s stay. The hotel’s location was convenient, making it an ideal stop during my journey. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for excellent service and a peaceful stay. I’ll definitely consider staying here again in the future.

Lovely room and grounds. Spa was lovely and a nice addition Food slightly pricey however looked lovely We stayed for special occasions nice added touch to our room. Would highly recommend 🙂

Arrived late just after Midnight, no one around, had to wander around shouting for someone, so we could check in. Eventually we found people setting up a meeting room. Room was clean although a little tired looking. No shower gel. The room was on the main walk way and joined the stairs, so very noisy in the morning. Also at 9am, cleaner knocked and tried to access room, fortunately we had locked the door. Breakfast was good, although the hot food was dry and overcooked. Internet speed was OK and TV needs updating.

Very quiet considering it's right next to the A14, i didn't hear anything from the traffic. Supported by a Starbucks and a Petrol station. The hotel was great the staff were all very helpful and happy to help with any questions i had. Clean towels, tea, coffee, milk refills means that you could stay there without going anywhere if you wanted to just chill out on your own. With a TV and my crime magazine i was happy to chill in the evening. Would be really happy to book this hotel again in the future.
