Our stay at Hotel N°5 was excellent from start to finish. The hotel is spotless, and the housekeeping team really keeps the rooms in great condition. The location is very convenient, close to town yet quiet enough for a peaceful rest. The staff provided warm and professional service, always greeting us with a smile and ready to assist

Very excellent feeling stay with this hotel Only little humble feedback: 1. If hv exhaust in restroom will perfectly 2. The breakfast at restaurant, mee goreng too hard & oily / the coffee machine need Q quite long time when crowded / fried egg abit hard ( overall f&b at restaurant 5/10 )

Very close to the airport and is located within walking distance from the shopping mall Imago. Room is clean and spacious, and front desk staff is polite and nice. Several food outlets and convenience store are available right next to the hotel. City center is a bit far if on foot. Grab is recommended.

Overall is not bad. Hotel recently got refurbished and still have on going renovation work going on. Location is close to town area. Got bathtub. Got quite many restaurants around which within walking distance. Breakfast was nice ,got many choices. Bed was comfy. Suitable for business stay.

Good location - We stayed here only for 1 night before catching a morning flight after a trip to Manukan Island. It was about 15 mins from the airport and 6 mins from Sutera Harbour. We were able to check in early at about 1pm. It was a great location with the market and food stalls just in front of the hotel. There was also the night market just beside the hotel. Club lounge - We enjoyed our time at the club lobby with unlimited alcoholic drinks from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. The service staff were very patient, welcoming, and attentive. Room - we had the king room with City view. The room was spacious and clean. While it was stated city view, we were able to have a view of the harbour and Mt Kinabalu at the far distance.

Checked in at the hotel at around 9.30pm. I noticed the air conditiong was kinda hot. But i thought to myself, I’ll give it some time run first. Maybe it’ll get better soon. Then an hour later, it was still hot, so i called operator, and she said she will send someone to our room. Waited about 30 minutes or more, still nobody came. I called the second time, and she said she’ll get someone to our room again. And that’s it, nobody came to our room, to help us with the air conditioning. And we were to tired to wait already. So My 8 month old baby sleept sweating that night and i had to fan him with the note book that they put beside the bed. Upon checkout, I complained to the receptionist and the manager about the incident, and they checked on their system that the issue had been resolved. Which was abvioustly a lie. So the manager said he will investigate the matter and he promised something to me. So i hope he keep his words. I’m a regular here, so i know there was something wrong with the air conditioning. I know the quality of the hotel. So let’s see wether the manager is serious about his words.

I had a good stay at Cititel Express Kota Kinabalu. The cleanliness was well maintained and the location is convenient for getting around the city. The service was satisfactory and the staff were generally helpful. The amenities provided were also good for a comfortable stay. Overall, it is a suitable choice for business travellers looking for a practical and affordable hotel in a central location.

The location is actually great. You don't have to keep going to Gaya Street; a taxi ride there is only about 5 minutes and a few dollars. The advantage of this location is that there's no traffic congestion and there's ample space outside. The front desk staff was very welcoming, and check-in was super fast. The view from the room, apart from the river being dirty as some negative reviews mentioned, was fantastic. You can see both the sunset and planes. The room size is generous, perfect for a family with no issues. It comes with a microwave, fridge, and cutlery. Everything was perfect except for the slightly broken showerhead and the not-so-thorough cleaning. The key thing is the excellent soundproofing; plane noise in the room was minimal. The pool looked amazing, but unfortunately, I didn't have time to use it, only to look. Overall, it's great value for money. If you're going to nitpick, you might as well stay home or deal with the crowds at domestic attractions.

Booked for Sea View Room.. got the same level as the lobby .. prefer higher level for best view. Request for late check out and allowed till 1 o’clock only without additional payment. Appreciate that. Overall, best experience and will consider to come again for my next vacation.
