The room was clean, but the bathtub didn't seem to be cleaned properly. And because there was no shower curtain, the bathtub was a sea of water. Also, the shower head and bathtub faucet switch was broken, so I had to shower while getting splashed. It seemed like it was already broken, which was a shame.
Aside from that, everything else was clean and nice. It was a perfect place to stay for one night. I would stay there again if it had a shower room. It was also reasonably priced. I didn't try the breakfast, so I'm not sure, but it was under 20,000 won, which seemed like a good deal.
Deluxe twin room interior still new, shower only, no bathtub. It is spacious enough to open 28 inch luggage fully and still have space to move around. Our room has a coffee table with a cushion chair too. Breakfast at ””Garden 171”” is delicious, dining area decorated with many green plants. This building has about 11 levels used by the hotel, while 7 levels used by residents. There are 40 hotel rooms per level but there are only limited car park lots from B2 to B5. This carpark is too little to cater for all. Even if you find a tiny car lot to squeeze in, if there are illegal parking later on, its very hard to drive out from your car lot too. Best is not to drive here. A short walk will reach Times Terrace mall, alot of restaurants, clothing, cafe, sport gear, gaming arcade etc. Very convenient to spend a day in shelter. Walk further, there are streets full of karaoke, BBQ, live seafood restaurants etc. Its still a good hotel to stay, but next time i will take a bus to this city.
Personally like it because it’s very clean, and they provide free parking. The only downside is that I never expect the traffic can be this bad, from hotel to gangnam takes about an hour, for 20km journey! Nonetheless, I’d stay back this hotel in future.
The hotel's proximity to Everland was incredibly convenient. Since we were traveling with our kids this time, easy access to transportation was our main priority. What's even better is that there's a free shuttle bus stop right across the street from the hotel!
Great choice of hotel if you are cycling the 4 Rivers Path. Large rooms which are well equipped, and helpful reception staff. Some great eating options nearby.
Stayed only a night so interaction with staff was just a brief encounter at check-in and -out.
Located right next to Kintex and has a 7-11 right next to the lobby, so it’s extremely convenient for persons attending concerts or conferences.
Room was simple. Loved that it comes with a washer even though I did not need to use it. It would come in handy for anyone staying here for long durations.
Bed and pillows were comfortable. And the heating was great. There’s also a small balcony accessible from the room. Fitness centre is on the second floor.
Just to note though:
There isn’t much space in the room to move around and might be hard for two sharing the room if there are more than one luggages.
The notepads/information sheets area was slightly dusty- ie i could see dust specks on it and floating around when the items were lifted.
But everything was in working order and condition and I would stay here again if I have to attend an event nearby!
I was expected to have a nice stay at Marriott, however the reception person made me very disappointed to Marriott during the check in process.
Luckily, when I check out, the lady who was asking me ”if there's anything she can help?” It was just a regular Q&A section to her, but for me, she helped me to book the bus ticket to ICN and saved/helped me to had a nice day -- She was perfect to earn 100% points!
that's why I gave 3 points to Marriott while her colleague was not, this is balanced score...
However, what I felt on the first day arrival was horrible. Marriott, you need to think about your service attitude and the reason why you're Marriott?
I stayed for two nights to write quietly, and I liked the location, cleanliness, amenities, and the fact that the room was fully equipped with simple cooking and laundry facilities.
The breakfast is also excellent. Above all, I liked that the dining table in the room could be used as a desk. I had a great time writing a lot over the two days!!
The hotel is a bit far from the city center, but it offers better value for money than hotels in the downtown area. There's a subway station nearby, which makes it convenient to visit various attractions. Alternatively, you can download a Korean ride-hailing app to instantly call a taxi or book a ride. Since there were five of us, taking taxis wasn't cost-effective, so we often booked a 6-seater car half an hour in advance through the app, which was very convenient! There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores around the hotel. The hotel staff were warm and attentive, and the front desk staff also spoke English. The room was clean and comfortable. Although not huge, it was quite spacious compared to hotels near Myeongdong in Korea, with plenty of room to move around! The water temperature was perfect, and we really loved the hotel's shampoo and conditioner; our hair felt incredibly soft and smooth after using them – we'd love to know what brand they are! Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay.
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It is conveniently located near Hyundai Premium Outlet. I chose a high-floor room with a lake view, and the view was absolutely beautiful. It made my holiday feel very special. There is a small minimart and a money exchange machine downstairs on the lobby floor, which was very convenient. The hotel also offers great facilities, including a kids’ club, a gym, and both indoor and outdoor swimming pools.

GGuest UserThe room was spacious and bright, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent. I slept soundly all night, completely relieving my travel fatigue.
The smart room design was incredibly thoughtful; being able to control the lights, curtains, and air conditioning with my voice was a lifesaver for a lazy person like me, making my stay easy and pleasant.
The bathroom was spacious, and the shower had strong water pressure, making for a wonderfully comfortable hot shower. The cleanliness of the restroom was also impeccable.
Service Attitude & Details
The front desk staff were warm and attentive, proactively upgrading our room. When we checked out, they even kindly helped with our luggage. The attention to service details was perfect.
The housekeeping auntie was incredibly kind; she noticed clothes I had left drying in the bathroom and neatly hung them up for me. It truly felt like a home away from home.
The hotel staff were always ready to help and resolved any issues immediately, making my stay feel safe and reassuring.
GGuest UserI stayed at Homes Stay Suwon, and while it may be fine for solo travelers, it wasn’t the best fit for my stay. The room felt very small, and it was difficult to fully open a suitcase. The bathroom also lacked privacy, which made it uncomfortable for staying with more than one person. That said, there are plenty of restaurants nearby, which was convenient. Overall, it might be a better option for someone traveling alone.

AAnonymous Userother than the hotel being located off city centre, everything else was amazing from the cleanliness to the amenities and staff friendliness. it was not too far from the airport, the mall right next to the hotel had everything including oliveyoung and a daiso. there were 2 convenience store within a 1-minute walk from the lift lobby. there were also a good enough selection of food choices around as well.
CChewYSIt was very good impression as my 1st times visiting in Korea because the hotel staffs were incredible friendly and helpful. However this is very difficult to get taxi as industry area. Overall is good for me and the hotel is valueable to stay.
GGuest UserThe hotel is conveniently located close to the subway station and the airport shuttle stop, making transportation a breeze. There are many restaurants nearby, including a Chinese hotpot place, and convenience stores, all very handy. The room was spacious and comfortable, and besides a toothbrush, it had everything you could need, even skincare products, which were great. The breakfast was pretty good too. Overall, very nice.

GGuest UserWe stayed at the residence side and I must say it is one of the best, if not the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in on all of our travels. Very spacious, clean and NEW!!!
All the staff members were very attentive, especially the manager for the WiFi support was courteous and responsive. I would highly recommend this hotel for quality, service and value for the money. Having the 24-hr CU (mini mart) in the 1st floor of the hotel was very convenient.
Special shout out to our housekeeping staff, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable.
Just few minor suggestions to the hotel management:
1. Don’t need a calendar, but do need clocks in the living room and the bedroom.
2. Need a trash can in the kitchen/dining table area.
3. Would be good to have a small dish rack, since guests are required to do the dishes
4. The sliding door from the master bedroom to the showers flaps around when closed if the heater or air is on. Needs to somehow stabilize it, it doesn’t make noise trying to sleep.
With just few minor improvements it would be a “perfect” place to stay!
