Very good location. Surrounding have many shops and restaurants. Hotel is grand and swimming pool is nice. Room is spacious and breakfast buffet is superb.

We stayed two nights on 17 & 18 March'24. Booked a seaview room. Room is big though not new. It is still very comfortable. Location is good.. walk pass two buildings. Will reach Suria shoppjng mall. Just cross one traffic junction.. ***a street with good food. But we had bad experience with check out on 19 March at 11.25am. There was only one malay lady recep. No other staff in sight. I cannot believe it...this one receip is helping with ang moh with general queries. I had to interrupt because i need to reach airport within 2 hours ahead of departure time. This ang moh very rude not happy that i took abit of the recep's time. I did say sorry n excuse us. Just to drop my room key to check out. First time i met such ungentleman behaviour.

The location is centralised in the city centre, making travelling around easy. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was a good spread, and with 24-hour in-room dining services, you need not worry even if you spent a whole day put and got back late without food.

The Hyatt Hotel chain is a wonderful brand and I was quite pleased with the Regency in Kota Kinabalu. The location was quite central, within many delicious food options within walking distance. The bed was super comfy, and the overhead shower was very nice. The pool closes at 8pm so a bit earlier than most places, but nonetheless, looking forward to the next time I can visit.

The door at room 802 need to be fix. Very difficult to open. And stuff (non malaysian) very rude im not sure why. Maybe my outfit at that time looks ugly

Hotel is nice, clean and have good amenities. The room is clean, though not new, but all amenities are working fine. The bed is comfortable and comes with 2 pillows each. The room even has a study table. We use it as a dining table instead. The room has a unique toilet. The shower and toilet bowl is separated having a door each and next to each other. Also, the wall and door of the toilet can slide fully open exposing the sink and the doors of shower and toilet bowl. You can just slide to close everything if you want privacy. The hotel staffs are nice too and attend to your request promptly. I requested for extra pillow and they sent it within a few minutes. The breakfast was also good and delicious. They have a wide variety of dishes from local, western, Indian, Chinese. Though everyday is similar but they change certain dishes such as from fried noodle to fried kuey tiow, fried rice to nasi lemak, etc. The hotel is also close to the waterfront, eating places and walking distance to Suria Sabah shopping centre. Overall, a good hotel to stay in.

An excellent hotel in a convenient location. Great for a couple nights stay. The hotel pool is nice, lots of shaded covered lounge chairs, rooms are large and comfortable, plenty of areas to lounge, the gym is adequate with a variety of equipment, food in the small Cafe outside the hotel has excellent waffles with ice cream.
