Excellent hotel, very clean, friendly and respectful staffs, comfy, and they are quick response. Free guest specialized parking inside the gate. Recommended for those who want great hotel experience without breaking the bank. Although towel is new therefore not absorbing enough, it is only small matter compared to overall experience. Definitely I will repeat booking in the future. Thank you and keep up the good job.

Hassle-free, fuss-free check-in. Love the huge premium suite room. The toilet is the same size as my bedroom in a HDB flat.
My 2nd time booking a suite room and my 3rd stay here. Previously stayed in a superior room. Only thing though, tv wasnt working in room 1201. Previous suite i stayed in, room 1424, had a smart tv. Would be good if all rooms had a smart tv.
Also, love the complimentary coke, sprite, 100plus n minute maid in the minibar. Would be good if there evening cocktails included.
1 thing though, there were alot of ants on both tables. But despite that, i will still rate my stay as pretty good for a hotel this old. I’m already planning my next stay here.
The front desk seriously needs to improve their customer welcoming skills. Even their WhatsApp communication is unprofessional. If you're not good at English, use ChatGPT or Gemini; all these tools are at your fingertips, right? Or if you know you're not good at English, just use Malay. We're in Malaysia, not Zimbabwe. We eat spicy sambal, right? Then, when I arrived, there was a booking error. I was staying for 6 days, and they confidently said 2 days, then suddenly asked for more payment for something already paid for. AND THEY DIDN'T EVEN APOLOGIZE! Everyone at the front desk was unprofessional. The weird thing is, when I was checking out, the service was suddenly great. 'Yes, Miss?' 'Okay, Miss, thank you.' Seriously, the service only gets good when I'm leaving? I stayed for 6 days, not 6 hours! The service was truly terrible.
BUT, HOUSEKEEPING WAS EXCELLENT! From check-in to check-out, they were the best! Even my trash can was neatly arranged! They were that good.
Here, you can hear people snoring next door. Kids screaming early in the morning will wake you up.
The water dispenser in the lobby is always out of water. Sometimes it's broken, sometimes it's fine, sometimes there's no water.
From the outside, the hotel definitely looks like a 5-star place. The room was okay. My mistake was getting a room without a window; it felt suffocating in there. The soft pillows were perfect; they gave two. Parking wasn't very easy. It's a Chinese area, so all the surrounding shops are Chinese. For food, you'll have to Grab it. Aeon Permas is close, but that mall is dead.
Would I repeat my stay here? Absolutely NOT!
A good hotel with the motto 'striving to be the best in the world' will never achieve that if the front desk operates like a government counter with 5 desks but only 1 open.
'Thank you' and 'sorry' should be part of daily conversation.
Nope. Goodbye.
Service is totally at sea, and so is the rating.
But housekeeping is powerful! I'd give them five stars!
Please add a mirror in the room. There's an empty space next to the wardrobe. That way, I don't have to keep going back and forth to the toilet. Oh, I forgot, that chair isn't plus-size friendly. Don't bother sitting on it. Also, Netflix requires your own account; it's not provided, unlike at Almas, where Netflix accounts are included.

Had a 1 night stay. Counter staff check in and checkout was fast and polite. Location is great alot eateries just downstairs.
Free parking for hotel guest, just need to validate ur tng card before exit.
Theres a minimart within the hotel that opens till midnight.
Spacious room, with in room water dispenser (hot and normal temperature).
Toliet needs some improvement, theres some rusty and stained shelving under the basin. Shower area supposed to have a transparent glass but its now covered with white wrapping. Theres also a blind at the shower area, which i cant release up, seems like it is stucked. The blind is abit obstructive and has some mold. With this, makes the shower area dim and darker. Basin drainage seems choked the water drains very slow.
The bath foam and shampoo smells really really good. Aircon is decent as well, love the smart tv!
Overall, decent stay!

The environment here is beautiful, it's just a shame the swimming pool upstairs is a bit damaged. If that could be fixed, it would be absolutely perfect. The security is also very professional, with security guards patrolling 24 hours a day.

Always a joy to return to Sunway Hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly warm, sweet, and genuinely customer-oriented. We came back to celebrate our anniversary and were delighted when ms. Tharsh personally hand-delivered a cake to us. It was so wonderful to see her again, as we’ve always had great experiences with her — such a thoughtful and heartfelt gesture.
This time, we were traveling with our kids, and they were equally impressed by the outstanding hospitality. Everyone made us feel truly welcome. A special mention to Duty manager, Mr Syahmi who was exceptionally friendly and helpful. He shared many useful tips on places to visit and instantly made us feel comfortable, even after a long and tiring drive.
Sunway Hotel continues to impress us with its exceptional service and warm hospitality. We always look forward to coming back!
The front desk staffs are very friendly and informative. The lobby area is big and comfy with a coffee vending machine. Need to travel out of this hotel to get lunch/dinner/supper and shopping and entertainment. The car park for hotel are at 1st level that are free for hotel guests.
Our king size beds are very big. The rooms are big too. There is hair dryer in the toilet. The curtain in the shower is old and dirty but usable. The towels are old and not white anymore. House slippers are given but one pair looks dirty or being used. Housekeeping staffs are helpful and friendly.
The TV not easy to operation or the channels need sometime to load. The next building(residential) is so close that we have to keep our curtains close all the time.
The swimming pool and breakfast cafe are located at 5th level that are common area with the residents.
The cafe is non Aircon and is open concept, their fans are cooling enough for comfortable for breakfast. The breakfast buffet is simple and tasty. Not alot of variety but enough to be full.
The hot Spring is great, very hot. It has 2 normal pools inside and a sauna room. There's toilets and showers too. Friday and Saturday timming is 4pm to 10pm.

We stayed for one night only, and the staff who attended to us during check-in were courteous and welcoming. The breakfast spread was simple but sufficient and enjoyable. However, it was slightly odd that not all the ceiling lights in the restaurant were turned on during the morning when we were there.
The hotel’s location was convenient, just a short walk from Komtar, City Square, and JB Central. After breakfast, we were able to enjoy a leisurely stroll along Jalan Wong Ah Fook with ease.

Enjoy this staycation. However, the management need to improve their cleanliness of the amenities provided. The service so far sastified as the staff are friendly and the food is variety and taste good. The view from our room also nice. Please wipe the window as well. Thank you.

Great
SShi Xian LimI stayed at DoubleTree by Hilton Johor Bahru and had a great experience. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to City Square, which made getting around very easy. The king-size bed was super comfortable—I had a wonderful night’s sleep. The shower was also excellent, with good water pressure and a relaxing feel.
They also offer their signature warm welcome cookies. I didn’t get them on the evening of check-in, but I collected them the next morning, and they were still warm and delicious. Overall, it was a very pleasant and comfortable stay.

AAidaLizI had a truly relaxing and refreshing stay at Fraser Puteri Harbour. Waking up to the gentle glow of the sunrise each morning was an absolute highlight — the views alone were worth it.
The room was impressively spacious, and the beds were incredibly comfortable, making it easy to unwind and get a good night’s rest. The serene surroundings created a calm and peaceful atmosphere, perfect for anyone looking to escape the rush and just relax.
If you’re in need of a quiet retreat with comfort and beautiful natural moments, Fraser Puteri Harbour is a great choice. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!
AAnonymous UserThis hotel is conveniently located just 160 meters, a 5-minute walk, from Aeon Mall Bukit Indah, surrounded by restaurants, cafes, and spas. Sutera Mall is also easily accessible by car. Legoland and Hello Kitty Town are only about a 10-15 minute drive away, and there's even a direct bus service to Singapore.
SsakiiiiiinahMagical mornings and sunsets, will definitely stay again. The dinner set could have been better, it was clearly indicated that a main, soup, drink and dessert would be about 35rm nett, but when we enquired, they said we had to add on for the dessert. It was clearly stated but i didn't feel like arguing because the food wasn't very great so I just left.
The receptionist and everyone else was good, breakfast was okay, no other complaints aside from the above.
LLLeongVery clean, comfortable and spacious studio apartment next to R&F Mall. Within 10 minutes walk from JB CIQ. As my arrival was after 5pm, they gave instructions to get the keys at the lobby mailbox for self check-in. Thereafter, show to Security to enter lobby.
Stay includes use of gym, swimming pool, sauna, billiards and table tennis rooms. However, the swimming pool was closed for maintenance for 3 solid hours (9am to 12 noon) in the morning which was a great disappointment as I planned to relax in the pool prior to check-out. The agent, ANJU should have informed prior to checking in.
RRenny RahmanWe stayed here on the day of my son’s 4th birthday. We were told that our room would take an extra 30 minutes for birthday decorations, but we were taken aback that the towel decorations alone took 30 minutes to set up. We also requested connecting rooms, but since we had booked king rooms, they were unable to change one of our king rooms to a twin and told us to rebook.
However, the rooms are big, spacious, and clean. They come with a sofa that can fit an adult to rest on. The pool and the small playground next to it were great for keeping our kids entertained.
The breakfast spread was good, with a lot of choices. Location-wise, it is very good. There were supermarkets, plenty of food options (many outside the hotel), and even a laundromat.
JJaymie SooThe good:
comfortable bed, decent cleanliness, working aircon, game console was cool, nice view at #48.
The bad:
Host expect you to contact them on the day else no sound no pic.
Sent a series of pictures and videos, shock to see they asked for deposit and my passport photo as part of their requirements. I’m not comfortable with that.
Drivers beware: This unit located at B1-2 is damn troublesome. I had to park outside the gantry and walked all the way to the end of the building (approx 200m one way) to get the card. The guard weren’t familiar with such arrangement had to call another guard over to assist in order to let me into the mailroom to retrieve the access card.
After that had to walk all the way back again to the entrance. When I drove to the gantry, the access card didn’t work, guard had to come over again to assist. End up found out it’s because the previous user did not “tap out” so we can’t “tap in”.
The wayfinding in the carpark is worse ever. Don’t know where to go up, don’t know where to exit. Turn round and round the entire carpark to find and realised it’s in the middle of nowhere.
Now for the accommodation itself, it’s decent. Towels were provided. No toothbrush provided but 8 combs provided instead (pic). The cups were damn disgusting (pic).
Overall will not return as the carpark and checkin experience was really a huge turnoff.
AAnonymous UserBest and Value for money!
Near to the city but difficult to find out car parking. Room not too spacious but complete with all of amenities. Kettle, linen and hair dryer provided. 😊
Will come again!
GGuest UserThe hotel service staff was very courteous and helpful. They explained all the details regarding my room package and the meals and beverages coupons.
Room was ungraded to a higher level with a view of JB city side and Singapore.
As it was a weekday, there’s no buffet dinner but a 4 course set menu or alacarte menu available. We opted for the 4 course set menu and it was quite good though the sauce for the chicken was a little salty.
Breakfast selection was good too. There’s also shuttle bus service to certain malls and JB Sentral thrice a day with internal of every 3 hours.
Overall the hotel has provided good service. Only disadvantage was there’s no shops around to shop as the mall wasn’t ready and it is quite a distance to walk to JB city centre.

MMyanleeI was quite surprised by this hotel. I booked a room for 4 adults, and it had two levels: upstairs there were two queen-sized beds, and downstairs there was also a single bed. The design was quite appealing. The only downside was that some items were showing some wear and tear.
