ZhuanzhigangjingI booked this hotel based on a recommendation from Xiaohongshu. The location is great, very close to Shilla and Lotte Duty Free shops – just a short walk away. There are all sorts of restaurants and shops nearby. The hotel is eco-friendly and doesn't provide single-use toiletries. The large refillable shampoo and shower gel dispensers are fine, but the funniest thing is the large tube of shared toothpaste. People come and go, and everyone uses the same tube. I honestly think they could just skip providing it altogether, especially since each time you squeeze it, it touches someone else's toothbrush. Also, the toilet paper and tissue boxes in the room aren't replaced until they're completely empty. So, if the previous guest checked out and there's still some toilet paper left, it just stays there for the next guest to use until it runs out. In the bathroom, you shower in the bathtub, but there's no shower curtain and no bathmat. It's really annoying because the entire floor gets wet after a shower. Some of the standard rooms have a wet/dry separation with a glass door and no tub, while others are the kind where you shower in the tub. The room types definitely vary. The curtains don't block out much light. They provide two bottles of water daily, but if you have half a bottle left in your room, they'll only restock one bottle the next day, not two. Early check-in and late check-out seem to cost 10,000 Korean Won per hour.

Service: Arrived at 12 AM Korea time, and the front desk gentleman spoke excellent Chinese, which made communication very easy. The hotel hallway was wide and smelled lovely. Even though it was fully booked, it was very quiet for sleeping, so the soundproofing seems good.
Cleanliness: Housekeeping cleaned daily. There were no disposable toothbrushes, so you'll need to bring your own. The leather slippers weren't disposable either, so I'd recommend bringing your own slippers.
Facilities: There's a kettle and a mini-fridge, with mineral water replenished daily. There are two Chinese-style power outlets, but the bedside outlets are Korean, so it's more convenient to bring your own adapter if you need one.
Surroundings: The CU downstairs is open from 6:30 AM to 11 PM, but there's a 24-hour CU just 150 meters away. There are also 24-hour pollock soup and pork bone soup restaurants nearby. Compose Coffee is across the street. Overall, it's great, the streets are quiet, and it's easy to catch a taxi.

Guest UserOverall, my stay was very satisfying, offering great value for money and a comfortable, secure experience. The hotel's location is super convenient for getting around and dining, and the surrounding area is quiet and peaceful, ensuring a good night's rest. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and attentive; check-in and check-out were quick and seamless. They were gentle and patient in answering all my questions, and their attention to detail made me feel truly cared for.
The room itself was clean and tidy, with a well-thought-out layout and a spacious, airy feel – no strange odors at all. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the mattress had just the right firmness, making it very relaxing to lie down and ensuring an excellent night's sleep. The bathroom's wet and dry areas were well-separated, toiletries were comprehensive and clean, and hot water supply was abundant and consistent. The room had good natural light and ventilation, and all the essential facilities were complete and well-maintained. The overall cleanliness and hygiene details were meticulously handled.
The public areas were also clean, tidy, and elegantly arranged, all very well-kept. The overall living experience was quiet, pleasant, and relaxing, making it perfect for both short trips and longer stays. Considering the service, environment, cleanliness, and location, this is definitely a highly recommendable hotel. It's a 10/10 experience, and I'll prioritize staying here again on my next trip!

Guest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, right across from Shilla Duty Free Shop, and Lotte Duty Free is also about a 15-minute walk away. There are many restaurants within a 10-minute walk. Plus, the hotel offers a free shuttle bus service to and from the airport. The room isn't very spacious, and the single bed is a bit narrow at 1 meter.

Guest UserFirst, my initial thoughts: I was prepared for a 'prison-like' room before checking in, but staying here, I actually found the room small but cozy! Coupled with other advantages, the actual experience exceeded my expectations.
Now, for the pros:
1. **Rich Community Facilities:** Besides the accommodation buildings, there's a standalone coffee shop, a standalone small bar (received a free beer voucher upon check-in), a GS25 convenience store (the female staff member was very friendly), a gift shop (at the front desk), and a breakfast/lunch restaurant (you can get a discount if you purchase breakfast at the front desk a day in advance).
2. **Excellent Location for Olle Trail 1:** It's very convenient for those doing Olle Trail Route 1. You can walk to Gwangchigi Beach, the starting point of Route 1, in about 10 minutes.
3. **Friendly Staff:** All the service staff were very friendly and could communicate well in English.
4. **Spacious Bathroom:** Although the room itself was small, the bathroom and shower area were quite spacious.
5. **Free Airport Shuttle:** This was an incredibly valuable service. I took the 10:30 AM shuttle to the airport. No reservation was needed, the bus arrived on time, and it took about an hour to reach the airport.
Areas for improvement:
1. **Lack of Hooks in Room:** My room had no hooks, except for two small ones in the toilet. I suggest adding one more in the main room without taking up extra space (I saw some other smaller room types had them).
2. **Soap Dispenser Design:** The hand soap dispenser had a short pump, which was inconvenient to use when my hands were dirty. A longer nozzle would be much better.
Overall, it was a very good stay. I would consider staying here again if I plan to do other Olle trails on the Seongsan side.

Guest UserThe Hide City was a comfortable place to stay that is less than 15 minutes from the airport via taxi. There was a washing machine and a place to cook if you chose to. There is also a place to store your luggage before you check in. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. I would consider staying here again if I go to Jeju City.

Guest UserI initially thought the room would be bad, but it was actually quite good, much better than I expected. It was relatively new, just a bit small, but all the facilities were complete. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. There's a 100,000 KRW deposit required per night. Overall, it's pretty good. There's a convenience store right outside and places to eat breakfast and lunch. The surroundings are nice too, and you can get discounts with your room key, though they only accept cash and Visa. It feels a bit newer and more modern than Shilla. My overall experience was good. I'd consider staying here again next time.

Guest UserFacilities: The smart toilet and Wi-Fi were great, but the shower being in the bathtub was a bit inconvenient, and the bathroom was a little small – I had to dry my hair outside. There's a mirror directly opposite the bed, so be aware if that bothers you.
Hygiene: The hygiene was very good; the room was clean and tidy overall, and housekeeping did a thorough job.
Environment: The location is excellent, close to Baojian Road, and an easy walk to both duty-free shops. There's a 7-Eleven right in the hotel, souvenir shops nearby, a CU convenience store across the street, and it's very close to the airport. Overall, it's very convenient.
Service: I requested not to have an end room when booking, but that's what I got. There was a slight smell in the hallway. The front desk staff weren't very communicative, and luggage storage was just next to the front desk, unsupervised.

Jeju bus terminal stop-beware of the separate blue and green bus stop so you wont missed your bus. Naver map and Tmoney help your journey around Jeju. Mr. Peter, himself, messaged me first through trip.com about the time I will be there at their place, which I was hesitant to do that but luckily, he did and that was surprising. Also, he let me leave my luggage in advance. Staff speaks English well and hospitable. As soon as you check in, staff will provide the stuff you needed for your stay in the room plus the indoor slipper to switch with your outdoor shoes to be placed in the closet at the entrance. NO elevator but the girl staff offered to carry my luggage to the room. There is an area in the 2nd floor for dining—designated place to eat—with microwave, water dispenser, dishes and utensils, fridge and freezer, you can cook and wash your dishes. There is a small area designated for reading/relaxing in the 3rd floor, where the entrance to the rooftop(to watch Hallasan sunset and for 8pm projector movie night). 2nd floor for male guests while 3rd fl for females. Sleeping room(is really for sleeping, no room to stretch only in your bed—is very comfortable with one outlet and a lamp) is separate from the shower area with slippers(washbasin/sink and enclosed shower stalls-body wash & shampoo) from the toilet stalls and from the powder/mirror area with hairdryer. If you have a small to medium luggage, you can store it under the bunkbed. There are lockers in every room (a normal school backpack could fit). Walking distance to Yongduam Rock to Yeongyon Bridge to boardwalk for coastal walks—great cafes to watch waves & landing planes and local resto—to Jungang Shopping Street to Jungang Underground Mall to Dongmun Market.
If you like mochi, next door of the Mir is delicious and affordable Jeju Mochi which is priced twice in the airport. Convenience stores (7-eleven next door), chicken&fries and local resto around the corner. Mr. Peter met him during the breakfast. He prepared the breakfast—egg sandwich which comes w/black coffee or orange juice. He is nice and approachable. The Mir Guesthouse’s is designed from the Yongduam Rock, it is cool, clean, and magnificent. Solo traveling is fun—meeting new faces, different nationalities, cultures, and witness the amazing nature’s wonder.
