A good hotel. Clean and fresh. There's free parking. Breakfasts were decent, although there could have been a little more variety. I didn't like that the coffee wasn't made from beans, but from powder like Jacobs. Nice pool area with sun loungers.
Pros
- The room was recently renovated, clean
- The shower was excellent
- The hotel was quiet
- The pool area was alright, clean
- The breakfast was fairly tasty
- We had no problem finding parking after coming and going
Cons
- The ‘air conditioning’ doesn’t go any lower than 22 degrees.
- Most of the staff were rude. When targeted for taking breakfast out of the restaurant back to the room because my family were ill, I was so rudely told I couldn’t. Said they were ill and was again told I couldn’t unless they were ill. Well yes, I just told you they are ill and my room number was made a note of… why?! Not everyone wants to eat breakfast in the dining room these days. Another example of rudeness was at checkout when I wasn’t even asked how the stay was, just had my credit card snatched out of my hand to pay for my tab and handed back to me, luckily with a receipt.
- The double bed was 2 singles pushed together, and we ended up rolling into one another all night
Very good accommodation experience, beautiful scenery and thoughtful service. It may be because it is not the peak tourist season. Now booking is really good value for money. I highly recommend this one. If I want to live here next time.
Perfect location: very central and easy to walk to. there is a big LIDL in a walking distance. The hotel staff are very friendly, it felt like I was staying in a family run business. Breakfast was decent, the coffee machine was good. The rooms was nice and cozy. The furniture was a bit dated, but the fridge and the AC unit were working fine. The only con was that there was no kettle in the room. Overall, a good value for money option if you need to be staying in central Limassol.

Very Good
KKaren BeverleySuperior room overlooking swimming pool was very spacious with comfortable beds. We spoke to a lot of guests who have been going to the hylatio for many years although I’m not sure what the attraction is.
Whilst we were there we had many Romanian students doing drama or something, they were loud and quite ill mannered and disturbed the majority of the age 60+ guests.
I stayed at the hylatio many times in the early 2000s but much has changed since then, expanding the premises but I prefer the old intimate self catering hylatio to what it is now. We saw the same owner but he was less friendlier this time as I remembered back then. However, the staff from Nepal are very friendly and hard working.
We were AI but found the drinks very inferior to other local spirits we have at other hotels in Cyprus (we are ex pats living in Paphos) but the local wine was good
Breakfast offered continental cheese, ham, cereals, porridge and hot English breakfast items. The quality of the sausages were poor and the baked beans tasteless but the bacon and egg were good. I agree with another reviewer that a second coffee machine is needed as you could stand in a queue for quite a while.
For lunch/dinner although the food was plentiful there was little choice ie on two nights we had spicy chilli chicken and hot chicken curry. There was an alternative but if you cant eat spicy foods you are very limited on choice ie chicken nuggets/fish fingers of low quality. There is offered only one type of salad to choose from. For dessert only one choice of cake but you are able to help yourself to ice cream.
It was adequate for our short 3 day stay but would not consider staying for longer due to the poor quality drinks and food on offer and very little to do other than lie on a sun bed that most were damaged or stained or swim in the large pool
JJoy515In fact, this hotel is really cheap, cost-effective, location is very good, there is a big supermarket next to it. The only downside is that the room network is too bad, but the network speed in the lobby on the first floor is OK. In addition, the room does not provide hot water, and the whole room is an old-fashioned socket. I think the breakfast is very good, anyway, it meets my appetite. After all, the money is so small, it can't be so high, and there is a convenient parking lot.
DDamianAt check-in, I was upgraded to a room in which everything was technically efficient. The only downside was the noisy exhaust ventilation in the bathroom, which could not be turned off. Closing the door muffled it considerably.
Breakfasts were varied and nutritious. In total, I spent 3 nights at the hotel and ate something different every morning.
Everywhere was clean and the staff friendly. I recommend it

SSaskiaThe hotel was sooo pretty and very central, but quiet to sleep. We will definitely stay there again, when we come to Limassol! The beds are very comfortable and the room was cosy.
The only thing we didn’t like: we booked it, cause it’s an adult only hotel: But since people, who don’t stay in the hotel can come for brunch and they can bring their kids, it’s not really adults only. We had 3 kids jumping around and running around and screaming while we had breakfast, what was definitely annoying and not relaxing. The parents enjoyed their brunch and didn’t care at all. I think that’s quite rude from the parents (very selfish, if you can’t control kids, but you don’t care about other guests) and the hotel could at least have said something. If you advertise and adult only hotel, but kids jumping around during breakfast, this could be mentioned. We let the reception know about it.
GGuest UserWe took two rooms with connected doors for me, my wife and two children.
One of the rooms has a problem with the AC - the balcony doors need to be in some very specific point to make the AC operate. The maintenance personal couldn't solve it. Second thing we had a problem with one of the toilet that couldn't flush the water so we paid for two rooms with two toilets and one toilet didn't operate.
We didn't want to move or wait for other rooms so we were trying not to make a big deal about it but we paid a lot of money and didn't get the facilities we expected from 5 stars hotel.
The bed we got was basically two separate beds.
The service at the pool bar was rude and not welcome when we asked for glass with ice.
The lobby is nice and the hotel look fancy inside.
RRoman69The price should not be more than 3 stars, the noise from the corridor will not bother you for a minute, the size of the toilets and showers is too small even for a thin person, the location is good, the pillows are also soft, everything else is bad, definitely not worth the money, bad experience
GGuest UserThe hotel was built a long time ago, it doesn’t look very straight from the outside, but the rooms are reinvigorated, the carpet in the corridors is new and not worn, there are magnetic locks on the doors. But honestly, the hotel does not pull 5 *. What did you like: - welcome bottle of wine and apples - chocolates on the bed every night - change of towels throughout the day - good shampoos Did not like: - an outsider can calmly come in for breakfast and no one will ask where he is from, and they will politely take him to a table at (because our friend just came, had breakfast and went to the beach) - the construction site is near and it’s not said anywhere, but there is noise from it - the floor in the rooms must be requested to wash - the beach is dirty, full of cigarette butts - weak animation - if you do not live on all inclusive conditions, then in a cafe on the beach the average cost of a meal is 8 euros, coffee 4 euros, smoothies - 6 euros. But for all inclusive there are restrictions - 2 naptanv a day per person - modest territory, nowhere to walk - the hotel in the distance is both plus and minus, quiet and there are no engines, but because there are only 3 restaurants nearby, and a taxi is expensive, about 1 euro km, even more expensive in the evening, you have to go there - there is no supermarket nearby, only a minimarket where you can buy something on the little things
