Stayed here for 2 nights. I would to thank Ms Diana Zhao, Ms Lisa Wu, and Ms Sunny Ye at the front desk for going the extra mile. They expedited the check in and check out process, helped me with the carpark charges, recommended local food around the area, asked if room service was satisfactory, and highlighted some local attractions. Thanks again !

The walking street is very convenient, with lots of food, shops, and entertainment options. Food delivery is also super fast. The staff are very friendly and responsive, always ready to answer questions and even recommend cherry blossom viewing spots. The smart room is very clean and hygienic. The projector screen is huge, perfect for watching videos from your phone, and the staff even provide detailed instructions on how to set it up.

I really like this hotel, one of the best if not the best in Shiyan, the staff is really kind and helpful all rhe time, the gym and pool are really good, the food is delicious, have all kind of food in the breakfast and in buffet.
The new hotel has a grand lobby design, and the staff are warm and attentive. The rooms are spacious and odor-free, especially the bathroom, which is very spacious. The smart toilet is clean enough, and the toiletries are of good quality, leaving the skin feeling soft and comfortable after use. The restaurant is tastefully decorated, offers a wide variety of dishes, and the food is quite delicious, especially the noodles, which are served very quickly! It's a pity I didn't take any pictures!

The location is super convenient! X188 is right downstairs, which is great for anime fans, and the subway station is just a few minutes' walk away. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The room was clean, and the front desk service was excellent. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, and they proactively warned me about the potential inconvenience and even offered to switch my room. I highly recommend this hotel!

I have to give a shout-out to the Crowne Plaza Yichang! From the moment I walked in, I felt the thoughtful service. The staff were all very polite, and their attention to detail was exceptional. Suri, in particular, was so warm and genuine. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the city with convenient transportation and plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options. It's perfect for both tourists and business travelers. It was comfortable and convenient, offering incredible value for money. I'm definitely coming back to stay in a few days!

This is arguably the best hotel in Wuhan, no contest. Firstly, it boasts the most beautiful and serene part of East Lake. And during cherry blossom season, East Lake is simply stunning and captivating. Plus, it's a historically significant place where Chairman Mao stayed 48 times, which adds a sense of security. Lastly, the thoughtful and professional service from the staff is truly commendable. I brought my mom here for a trip, and we received welcome fruits, and there's a shuttle service to various locations. You can even book a visit to Chairman Mao's former residence, and they'll drop you off at the exclusive small entrance to the Hubei Provincial Museum, which is incredibly convenient. They also offer luggage storage, so you can explore worry-free. A robot delivers takeout to your room, and taxis can pull up right to the hotel entrance – very convenient! I'll definitely be back.

We chose this hotel for our Chinese New Year trip, and it was very kid-friendly! The staff even prepared amenities for children. The lobby had a strong New Year atmosphere, and the staff were very kind to the little ones. The surrounding area has complete facilities, making it easy to take the kids out. The front desk service was also incredibly warm and welcoming, and the location is super convenient, right next to Wanda Plaza, so shopping and dining are just a stone's throw away. The hotel facilities are also comprehensive. Highly recommended!

I'd always heard great things about this hotel, and finally had the chance to experience it myself – it definitely lived up to its reputation! From booking to check-out, the entire stay was comfortable and welcoming. I absolutely have to write a detailed positive review to share my experience.
Opening the room door, my first impression was clean, spacious, and bright. The room layout was very well-designed, and the natural light was excellent. The bedding deserves a special shout-out – the mattress was just right, not too soft, not too firm, and there were several pillow options. I slept incredibly soundly that night. The room also featured a smart control system, allowing one-touch operation for curtains and lighting, which felt very high-tech and was incredibly practical. The bathroom had excellent wet/dry separation, the toiletries had a refreshing scent, and the hot water came quickly with strong pressure, washing away all the day's fatigue.

This was my first visit to Country Garden Xianning, and I truly felt it's the best hotel in the area. Yet, the official photos make it look quite old and dated, which always led us to travel further to Chibi for hot springs. In actuality, both the hotel's ambiance and the room conditions far exceeded our expectations. The restaurant environment was lovely, and the breakfast was hearty. They really should consider updating their promotional images!
We were upgraded to a room with a spacious bay window. We asked a staff member for an extra duvet, and the kids absolutely loved playing on it!
The Water World is located just across the road from the hotel, with a convenient shuttle service. While the hot springs remain the main draw, they've also added a wave pool and a bubble pool. The large slide is unfortunately out of commission, but for those not keen on thrilling rides, there's still plenty to enjoy. The wave pool's waves were genuinely some of the largest I've encountered in any hotel-affiliated water park – far surpassing those at a certain family hotel newly opened in Wuhan, which charges double the price! The complimentary use of single and double swim rings is also a thoughtful touch.
Finally, I must voice my disappointment regarding the kids' activities. The male staff member in charge showed extremely poor crowd control, leading to an utterly chaotic setup. They seriously need to learn from more competent peers in the industry. For starters, the activity content itself was poorly chosen. Knowing it was a weekend and would be busy, they should have anticipated the crowd and opted for simpler, quicker, and easier-to-manage crafts – something like making a lacquer fan or a TCM sachet, which a group could finish in 5-10 minutes. Instead, they went with the most complicated activity, causing everyone to pile into the room and complain. To top it off, the early start was only announced at the last minute.
To make matters worse, they completely disregarded their own rules. Many guests complained that reservations were not honored, and people without reservations were also allowed to join. Even if we overlook the multiple booking groups, the main issue was that anyone who simply ignored the rules could just grab materials and start participating immediately. So, for an activity clearly intended for children, you'd see a family of three: the little boy making two items, his mom making one, and his dad occupying a seat as well. I've been to numerous family hotels where, during off-peak dining hours, they utilize banquet halls for activities, ensuring ample seating for parents to accompany their children at the same table. In situations with limited seating, children typically sit at the activity table while parents use small stools beside them. The priority is always to allow as many children as possible to participate simultaneously, and materials are only distributed to seated kids. I've genuinely never witnessed such disorganization where materials are handed out first, leading to a scramble for seats.
What I found most incomprehensible was this: since many parents were waiting, they had their children playing in an adjacent area. One parent controversially took all the toys, preventing other kids from playing, which naturally sparked a heated argument with other parents. The dispute lasted quite a while and escalated. I even had to interject, 'It's getting pretty intense; aren't you going to send someone to de-escalate?' The male staff member simply replied that he was too swamped with people today and wasn't going to get involved. I countered, 'By the time you're free, they might actually be physically fighting!' After a moment's thought, he made a call and summoned another staff member, but offered no guidance or handover. Consequently, the female staff member, completely unaware of the situation, ended up trying to placate a different guest who was complaining about the activity schedule. Meanwhile, the original two parents continued their shouting match for a while longer. 😂 Frankly, if they can't even monitor or control the situation, they are entirely unfit to manage kids' activities. These activities really turned into a major negative point.

SShalinda WIf you don’t speak the local language, I do not recommend staying at this hotel. It was incredibly difficult getting both on, and off the mountain “scenic area”. Some hotels in Trip reached out to us in advance to help coordinate transportation, this one does not. Your only way to contact the hotel is by calling, which isn’t feasible if you don’t speak the language. The hotel website showed that parking was available, so I thought we would be able to get there by DiDi, as long as I paid the fee to get the car into the park. This was not the case. We did see private vehicles, but I’m not sure what goes into that, but I believe 4 wheel drive is one requirement. So with our luggage, he dropped us off at the base of the mountain. It took a little while to get to the ticket office, you have to walk up several stairs and through a cobblestone market to get there, so we got nice and sweaty and uncomfortable. From there, you take a bus (ours had no underside luggage stowage) about halfway up to another stop. We had to awkwardly hold our luggage in the aisle of a full bus, while going up-hill and doing switch-backs. Everyone gets off about halfway-way up, at a station with several different buses. We asked for help and someone pointed us to the correct one. From the final bus stop up top, it was a short walk to the hotel. We figured going down would be much smoother, but after getting off the first bus, we accidentally got on the wrong one and started going back up. Overall, took us about 2.5 hours from the airport to the hotel, then just over three hours from hotel to the HSR station.
Minor descriptions for the room were inaccurate. Ours was listed as on floor 3 or 4, it was actually basement level. The hotel is in the edge of the mountain, so it still had a scenic view. The window in our room was dirty (I expected more for what we were paying). The hand soap in the bathroom was in a re-used bottle and was watered down. Listed amenities said sauna and massage room, there are neither here (nor was there an offer of other local places to go when I asked).
The breakfast food was amazing, including a hot, fresh bar with a chef making eggs and noodles. I wasn’t able to partake in the noodles one day because of the language barrier. Hotel staff was more hesitant than other places we’ve stayed in using translation tools and I felt like too much of an inconvenience in using them to ask for noodles. There is bottled water in the rooms, you can ask for more for free (they friended me via WeChat on Check-In and is largely how we communicated). There is free tea and snacks in the afternoon, the hotel was quiet so we were able to take up one of two seats that had an amazing view outside. The staff working the tea time was great and super courteous. You can hike to South Crag Palace and Nanyan Palace by foot, both are absolutely stunning.
In summary, if we were to visit the area again, I would stay at a hotel at the bottom of the mountain (not in the scenic area) and use the day exploring/getting lost on the bus. While the view was great, it simply wasn’t worth the high price and the difficulty in getting there for non-locals. If I knew a hotel in the scenic area would reach out to me in advance to assist, then I would go for it. But unfortunately, with the way Trip.com works right now, hotels have to initiate that, guests cannot. I don’t recommend this hotel for non-native speakers.

Very Good
GGuest UserStaff were helpful and provided good service. Buffet breakfast was mediocre, no supper was offered. Room, beds and toilets were large with lots of space but there were not enough hooks or bars for hanging bath towels and not enough hangers for hanging our clothes. No window view at all so our curtains were always closed. TV was big and clear with many channels.
GGuest UserHighly recommend this hotel! I came in with low expectations, but it totally exceeded them. From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The room was spotless, with great attention to detail – even the toiletries were high quality. After a tiring journey, this was the perfect place to relax. It's right above Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street, surrounded by tons of food options, which is super convenient. I've already recommended it to friends and will definitely stay here again on my next visit!
GGuest UserI randomly picked this hotel for my trip to Wuhan, and it has an excellent location with unbeatable river views. It offers great value for money.
**Environment:** It's conveniently located near attractions, dining, and shopping. Getting a taxi or ordering takeout is also easy.
**Hygiene:** It's clean.
**Service:** The staff are all very service-oriented. Whether it's check-in, check-out, or dining, there's always someone readily available to assist and provide clear answers.
The variety and taste of the food are both excellent. Room service is available at different times, which is very convenient.
GGuest UserCompared to my stay at Ascott Chongqing during the Chinese New Year, this Wuhan location fell short in many aspects.
**Pros:** Located above Wanda Plaza, ample parking, in-room washer and dryer, and well-equipped facilities. The lobby also has a tea and coffee bar with to-go cups, so you can take coffee and black tea with you.
**Cons:**
1. Poor soundproofing in the room; significant traffic noise.
2. The evening staff on our check-in day had a poor attitude. In contrast, the morning staff on our check-out day was much more enthusiastic and resolved issues promptly.
3. Unreasonable holiday activity arrangements: Other guests checking in at the same time received sightseeing bus tickets. When I asked why our room didn't get them, I was told we could scan a QR code to book and didn't need tickets. I don't understand why, if the benefits are the same, they couldn't give a ticket to every room – it's just a piece of paper, if anything, it adds to the festive spirit. This kind of differential treatment feels really bad. The so-called 'Travel Warm-Heart Package' required choosing three items out of nine. This wasn't clearly stated on Ctrip, which feels a bit misleading. Even with the 'choose three' option, many items were missing. The staff even asked me to 'leave a good review, and I'll try my best to find it for you.' I don't understand this logic. Receiving the Warm-Heart Package is a right included in my booking. Does that mean if I don't leave a good review, they won't help me get it?
4. The pencil in the room was very sharp, and an elderly person cut their hand.
5. Breakfast was mediocre, not much to eat. The hot dry noodles were very salty, and there was so much soup they were more like noodle soup.
GGuest UserIt looked like a new store, so I made a reservation. The price was very reasonable and great value. There are shopping malls and supermarkets downstairs. There is a Hunan restaurant downstairs. The fried chicken tastes good. The location is easy to find. Parking is free. The lady is also very welcoming. The room The whole house is smart, Tmall Genie can control everything, and the air conditioning effect is great. I will book here next time.

GGuest UserThe hotel breakfast offers a wide variety of options, with a great mix of Chinese and Western dishes, and the bread was freshly baked and delicious. The room was spotless, and the mattress was incredibly soft, like sleeping on a cloud. All the staff provided service with a smile. The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Wuhan Station, which was super convenient for my business trip. Both check-in and check-out at the front desk were very efficient. I highly recommend this place and will definitely choose it again in the future. Keep up the great work!

KkillymikeQuanji Hotel, Xiangyang review
I spent two nights at Quanji Hotel in Xiangyang, and I left with a mix of impressions some solid wins, one or two quirks, and a sense that this place knows what travelers like me actually want after a long day of sightseeing or meetings.
First impressions
- Exterior and lobby: Modern, clean, and uncluttered. The lobby feels calm, not trying too hard to impress you, which is nice after a long train ride. The check-in process was smooth, with staff who spoke enough English to help, but not so much that you felt talked down to.
- Location: Pretty convenient depending on what you’re here for. It isn’t in the center of Xiangyang’s busiest streets, but you’re within a comfortable walk or short ride to key spots, plus there are eateries nearby that aren’t overhyped tourist traps.
Room and comfort
- The room itself was a solid 4-star vibe: tidy, well-lit, and surprisingly quiet for a hotel in what feels like a busy area. The bed was comfortable—firm enough to support a good night’s sleep but soft enough that you don’t feel like you’re lying on a board.
- Amenities: Decent desk space if you’re traveling for work, reliable Wi-Fi, and a reasonable layout. The bathroom was clean with good water pressure and a practical layout. A few small things felt a touch “budget-first” like standard toiletries and a shower curtain rather than a glass enclosure—but nothing deal-breaking.
- Cleanliness: Overall good. Housekeeping did a thorough job during my stay, and I didn’t notice any telltale corners being overlooked. It’s the kind of place where you feel comfortable dropping your gear and not worrying about dirt or mess.
Service
- Front desk and staff: Friendly and helpful. They stood by for recommendations on dining and local spots without turning the conversation into a sales pitch. When I asked for directions or a printout of an itinerary, they were efficient and patient.
- Housekeeping: Prompt and discreet. No intrusions at odd hours, which I appreciated.
JJchen1This hotel is extremely convenient, being very close to the airport, which made our travel much easier. At the beginning of our stay there were a few issues and we had to change rooms twice, but the customer service was excellent throughout. The staff were patient, responsive, and genuinely helpful in resolving everything quickly.
The amenities were a big plus the gym was well-equipped, and the free laundry service was very convenient. Breakfast was also a highlight, with a very good buffet offering plenty of options. Overall, despite the initial hiccups, the great service and facilities made this a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Would happily stay again.

EEthan Matthew HuntI came from Canada due to my business trip, this is absolutely A Hidden Gem That Outshines Even the Hilton Below!
I had an absolutely unforgettable stay at Wuhan Hanyang Beike Hotel—this place is a masterpiece of modern hospitality. If you’re looking for luxury without breaking the bank, look no further.
Let’s start with the view: from my room, I had a breathtaking panorama of the Yangtze River, with a front-row seat to Wuhan’s cyberpunk-style skyline. The glowing bridges—including the Yingwuzhou Yangtze River Bridge, Yangsigang Bridge, and Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge—light up the night like something out of a sci-fi movie. To top it off, you can even spot the historic Yellow Crane Tower, blending the ancient with the ultramodern in a way that’s visually stunning and emotionally moving.
The interior design of the hotel is unbelievably sleek and luxurious—we’re talking five-star finishes, modern lighting, spotless wood flooring, elegant furniture, and a spa-like bathroom that feels straight out of a high-end design magazine. It’s the kind of place that makes you stop and say, “Wow,” the moment you walk in.
I’ve stayed at the Hilton, located just downstairs, and while it’s fine, Beike Hotel blows it out of the water in terms of value, design, and overall experience. You’re getting a top-tier, modern boutique stay at a fraction of the cost.
The staff, especially the warm and professional Ms. Liu, were incredibly helpful, attentive, and kind—service was impeccable.
If you’re a traveler who appreciates unique experiences, luxury on a budget, and a fusion of futuristic style with rich cultural heritage, this is THE hotel to book in Wuhan. I can’t recommend it enough.
I will definitely return, and when I do, I won’t even consider staying anywhere else.
