Leaving the bustling city, I came to Wudang Mountain Manor to stay for a few days, and my physical and mental fatigue was relieved. I like to order a cup of healer coffee and bask in the sun in the courtyard on the platform, which is very comfortable! For people coming from big cities, this is a rare opportunity to relax. Organic tea gardens can be seen everywhere in the mountains, and the scenery is really beautiful. I sincerely recommend it to friends who need to come to the mountains to experience a relaxing and comfortable life!

The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Hankou's old town, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The hotel's decor and cleanliness are excellent, offering a peaceful retreat despite being in a bustling area! We were initially upgraded to a room, but it was on a lower floor and faced the street, which could get noisy, especially with the pedestrian street nearby at night. To ensure a good night's sleep and enhance our travel experience, we requested and received a room on a higher floor. Service: Very thoughtful. They noticed I only drank the chrysanthemum tea bag provided and left the Pu-erh untouched, so they left a note and two extra tea bags in the room. Such attention to detail! They clearly pay close attention to guests' preferences. Downsides: Some power outlets are already faulty, and there are too few bedside outlets, with no USB ports. This morning, I even discovered a spot where you can watch the sunrise.

The hotel was excellent! They even upgraded our room for free, which was huge and had a bathtub the kids could enjoy. Breakfast was also fantastic, with a great variety of noodles and rice vermicelli, along with both Chinese and Western options.

I am very satisfied with the hotel. I checked in early and the hotel staff helped to find me a room so that I could rest. The room was clean, spacious and the bed was comfortable. Walking distance to T3 and lots of food around. MRT station is below. Overall it was good stay and I will recommend to my friends to stay here

This 5-star hotel really lives up to its reputation online. Right next to the check-in counter, they offer two kinds of complimentary hot beverages, which is a nice touch. The rooms are spacious and bright, and everything is spotlessly clean. The service was excellent; they really tried their best to accommodate our requests. Breakfast was fantastic, with a wide variety of options, including local Wuhan specialties like hot dry noodles and Mian Wo, as well as Japanese sushi and Shaanxi Roujiamo, all of which were delicious. They even had both hot and cold low-fat milk. The mattress in the room was incredibly comfortable. However, there are a few minor details that could be improved. For example, the toilet in the bathroom didn't have a bidet or disposable seat covers, and the room also lacked an eco-friendly hotel tote bag.

This was my first time staying at this hotel, and even though I arrived quite late, the front desk attendant was still incredibly helpful and processed my check-in quickly. I was very pleased with the room—it was spacious, and the bed was soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The next day, Ms. Yu Xinying from the hotel warmly contacted us and even washed some fruit for us. When she learned we were checking out, she proactively packed it up and brought it to the front desk for us to take on our journey. Another front desk attendant, Ms. Xu Hexiang, was also excellent—warm, polite, and smiling throughout. I was truly impressed by their service; I'll definitely stay here again if I have the chance!

This hotel was a huge plus for our trip, and my child was very happy. 1. **Excellent Location**: Right in the middle of Chuhe Hanjie, just a few minutes' walk from the subway entrance, making it convenient to get anywhere. 2. **Standalone Hotel**: You need a key card to use the elevator. It's clean and quiet, a true oasis of calm amidst the hustle and bustle. 3. **Outstanding Service**: The staff proactively offered complimentary breakfast for three people. When we lost our room card, they replaced it without a word, showing how accommodating and gracious the hotel is. 4. **Quality Over Newness**: Although the hotel was renovated a few years ago, its star-rated foundation is evident. Many new hotels are just new, but this one truly showcases quality. The cleanliness, in particular, was impeccable, which is the most important thing when traveling with children. 5. **Satisfying Breakfast**: The breakfast spread was very good, with a wide variety of options that could cater to everyone's preferences. My child devoured two bowls of Wuhan's signature hot dry noodles. Even the plain yogurt was delicious without added sugar. My child insisted on staying here again next time we visit Wuhan.

This is my second visit to Wuhan, and I decided to try a different five-star hotel. This time, I chose the established Shangri-La. My overall impression is that the high price comes with being a five-star hotel, but the five-star experience is solely reflected in the service. Firstly, I'm not really looking for super new or luxurious facilities; otherwise, reading all those reviews about outdated facilities and furniture would have been enough to 'veto' it. However, there are indeed many areas that could be improved. For example, there are no power outlets on either side of the bed. While the TV not supporting screen mirroring and not being a smart TV is one thing, it's also incredibly unclear with very few channels. These are all manageable, but the most serious issue is the extremely poor soundproofing! In the room, I could clearly hear conversations from the hallway, upstairs, and next door, as well as children running and playing. This level of soundproofing would be disastrous during peak travel seasons like holidays. As I mentioned earlier, the hotel's biggest highlight is probably its service. There's a staff member in front of the elevators on the ground floor who greets passing guests. When going for breakfast, as soon as you enter, a female staff member asks what you'd like to drink, then prepares it and brings it to your table. On a side note: the breakfast is quite good. And having stayed at many five-star hotels in China, perhaps apart from Shanghai, this is one of the rare ones that offers plain white rice for breakfast. It's very suitable for those who are accustomed to eating rice (and natto) for breakfast. In conclusion: if you're looking for quality rest during peak travel seasons and major holidays, this might not be the place for you. However, during the off-season, if you want to experience five-star service, you could consider it. It makes me truly appreciate the common saying online: 'Wuhan – a desert of luxury hotels.'

Our recent stay in a two-bedroom apartment with a fantastic night city view was enjoyable, with a few minor hiccups that didn’t overshadow the overall experience. Check-In Experience:** The check-in process was smooth and efficient. The staff greeted us with warm smiles and complimentary drinks, setting a welcoming tone for our stay. They provided detailed information about the hotel's amenities and nearby attractions. Room Quality:** Our two-bedroom apartment was spacious and well-appointed, featuring a stunning night view of the city skyline. The modern decor created a cozy atmosphere, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The kitchen area was well-equipped, with coffee machine, washer and dryer, making it easy during our stay. Amenities:** The hotel offers a variety of amenities, including a fitness center, sauna and jacuzzi. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast at the restaurant, with Wuhan noodles made to order. Location:** Located above a vibrant mall, Somerset Hotel provides easy access to a variety of shops and restaurants right at your doorstep. The subway exit in the basement makes getting around the city incredibly convenient. While the highway is nearby, the hotel maintains a peaceful atmosphere, making it a great place to unwind after a busy day. Service:** Overall, the service was excellent. Staff members were attentive and quick to address any concerns. A special shoutout to COCO who went above and beyond to assist us throughout our stay. She was proactive in ensuring we had everything we needed, making our experience even more enjoyable. Additionally, Manager APRIL deserves high praise for all the wonderful arrangements she made for our visit.  Conclusion:** Somerset Hotel is a lovely place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the city. With its friendly staff, great amenities, and prime location, we would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, yet convenient getaway. We’ll definitely consider returning in the future!

Nice place to stay for a couple days. The subway station is pretty close to the hotel and the swimming pool and gym are just right. The only problem was the heating system in our room. Even though we turned it off, our room still felt pretty hot.
