Gulong Stay Review ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5) I recently stayed near Gulong Canyon and had a wonderful experience overall. The area is surrounded by lush green mountains and rivers, so the views are absolutely stunning, especially in the early morning with mist in the valley. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and had a rustic charm that fit the natural setting. The main attraction — the glass bridge and skywalk — was breathtaking (and a little scary if you’re afraid of heights). Staff were friendly and helpful, though English was limited, so having a translation app helped. Local food was fresh and tasty, especially the river fish dishes. One tip: bring comfortable walking shoes and be prepared for some steep climbs. It’s best to visit on weekdays to avoid heavy crowds. Would I come back? Definitely — especially to enjoy more hiking trails and maybe try the zipline next time.

My stay was the best hotel experience I have ever had. I am so satisfied and happy with the beauty and kindness of LS Inn. The room was so beautiful and so clean. The food was Amazing and the service was outstanding. I would especially like to highlight Icey and Reina. They were so attentive and accommodating to every need. They respodend very quickly and helped me book activities nearby. They were so kind and truly made me feel at home. I would also like to highlight the photography of Cai. She was very professional and patient with a great eye. She helped me with poses and the photos came out stunning. I am so happy I stayed at this hotel. It exceeded my expectations and made my trip even more remarkable. I hope to spend another stay at this hotel soon. Thank you to the LS Inn team for everything. Truly a great memory I'll cherish.

The room was great and very clean. The hotel's location right by Dongxi Alley made it super convenient to get around, especially since I was traveling with my mom! The staff even proactively showed us to our room and gave us a rundown of nearby attractions and restaurants. They thought of everything! It was truly excellent, a big thumbs up to the front desk lady! The location and scenery are also fantastic, thumbs up! 👍

1) This hotel is literally situated on the China-Vietnam border. From my room window, I could see Vietnam, and the front desk even warned me that if I had an iPhone, it might pick up signals from the neighboring country and my time zone could change. The rooftop observation deck offers an even better view of the border scenery, encompassing both Dongxing in China and Mong Cai in Vietnam. 2) When I booked on Trip.com, I specifically requested a non-smoking room, and the hotel front desk truly delivered! The floor and room were genuinely free of any secondhand smoke. Honestly, in a fourth-tier city in (what is arguably the world's number one country for secondhand smoke), this was a rare and pleasant surprise. 3) It's quite close to the Dongxing Port, just a 5-minute walk away. If you want to experience the charm of a border town right from your room, and if you appreciate clean room facilities and fresh, natural air, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Upon check-in, the front desk attendant upgraded my room to the 49th floor. The view is fantastic, offering a panoramic sight of the Liujiang River, and the night view is equally stunning. The room size is decent, though some facilities could use an upgrade. For instance, there's no master switch by the bed, so I had to get up to turn off the lights before sleeping. The curtains aren't automatic, and the bathroom only has a handheld shower, no rainfall showerhead. They also only provide two bottles of water. Overall, the service was good; the front desk lady accommodated my request for a late checkout. For breakfast, the gravy for the freshly made Guilin rice noodles was quite tasty, but the self-serve Chinese fried rice and dishes had limited options. The location is excellent, away from the crowded Wuxing Street area. However, Poly Plaza and the snack street downstairs offer almost all of Liuzhou's local specialties, including luosifen, tapioca pudding, and duck legs. It's also very convenient to catch a taxi to tourist attractions.

I stayed at the Wyndham hotel, which opened this year in Liuzhou, and here are my impressions: 1. **Location:** It's right in the heart of Liujiang, with a modern and minimalist exterior. The lobby is on the 13th floor, offering stunning views of the Liujiang River, both day and night. 2. **Service:** The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Since I was traveling with a child, they arranged our room near the playground. When checking out in the morning, they thoughtfully offered me two bottles of water for the car, which was a really warm gesture. 3. **Room:** As a well-known chain hotel, the room was clean, tidy, and equipped with advanced smart facilities. Even though it opened this year, there was practically no unpleasant odor in the room. 4. **Dining:** The restaurant is next to the lobby and boasts the best views. The breakfast spread was extensive, with quality ingredients and delicious food that even my child enjoyed. Eating there while admiring the river view was a truly enjoyable experience. 5. **Surroundings:** The hotel's location is perfect for easily seeing the musical fountain and popular photo spots. There are also many food night markets nearby, so you won't go wrong trying the delicious Luosifen (river snail noodles). It's only 800 meters from Qingyun Morning Market. It's truly the best choice for a city walk; you can explore the essence of Liuzhou just by strolling around in any direction.

Yifang Landscape Hotel: Where poetry resides in every stay, a well-deserved five-star rating! My stay at Yifang Landscape Hotel completely redefined my expectations for a vacation accommodation. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was enveloped in a sense of blissful immersion, as if walking through a painting. The hotel is nestled amidst mountains and water, with white walls and dark tiles blending seamlessly into the lush greenery. The lobby's garden-inspired design, complemented by perfectly placed art decor, is both simple and stylish. The fresh scent of the mountains filled the air, instantly melting away any travel fatigue. And the guest room was an even bigger surprise! Spacious and bright, with a well-thought-out layout that allowed for smooth movement. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows brought the picturesque landscape directly into the room. Waking up to birdsong and gazing at the stars at night, I was fully immersed in the beauty of nature. The bedding was perfectly soft yet supportive, paired with excellent blackout curtains, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep every time. The bathroom featured a cleverly designed wet and dry separation, high-quality branded toiletries, and a stable 24-hour hot water supply. Even the hairdryer was high-powered – the attention to detail was truly impressive. Every corner of the room was spotlessly clean, the bedding was free of stains and odors, and the disinfected cups were perfectly packaged. The hygiene was simply impeccable. The attentiveness of the service was also incredibly heartwarming. Check-in at the front desk was efficient and swift. The staff not only provided detailed information about the hotel's facilities but also proactively shared tips for exploring the surrounding area – professional and enthusiastic. Room service was prompt and responsive, with a gentle knock that never disturbed my rest. From the environment and facilities to the service and hygiene, Yifang Landscape Hotel truly delivers a five-star experience, perfectly blending natural landscapes with comfortable accommodation. This trip was made even better by this hotel, and I will definitely choose it again without hesitation on my next visit. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a quality travel experience!

I have stayed at the Wyndham Baise Resort a few times during the past couple of years. This past week I stayed two nights with friends to celebrate my birthday. The hotel staff delivered a cake and card to my room, which was a sweet surprise. The staff is always friendly and helpful. There is always someone available who can speak English if you need it. We enjoy eating at the restaurant on the first floor which has a variety of good food to choose from. The rooms are comfortable and clean. There is a pool and a sauna that we use every time we go. I love the view of the city and river from the window. A mall and some restaurants are in walking distance.

The service was excellent. The front desk staff saw that we had a child with us and thoughtfully moved us to a non-smoking room and even upgraded our stay. The bellhop not only helped with our luggage but also gave us a detailed overview of the hotel's amenities. When checking out, the lobby manager patiently looked after our bags. In short, the hotel staff's service was outstanding, very friendly, and enthusiastic – big thumbs up to them! Secondly, the hotel's location is superb. It's right behind a bustling commercial area, which is incredibly convenient with a wide variety of shops and products – perfect for a shopping spree. The lobby is clean, bright, and has a pleasant aroma from the scented diffusers and fresh flowers. They also offer delicious fruit tea. The overall atmosphere is fantastic. The room itself was also very satisfying. It felt quite modern with a unique layout and was spacious enough. The facilities are well-maintained. The gym is clean, tidy, bright, spacious, and well-equipped. The pool water was very clean and at a comfortable temperature. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, and the shower space was quite roomy. A housekeeper cleans the room daily. Overall, the value for money is exceptional. If I had to choose again, I would definitely stay here. Highly recommended!

The scenery is picturesque, with a prime view of the mountains. Opening the window reveals karst peaks, and the infinity pool reflects the green hills. The misty morning view paired with rice noodles is incredibly soothing. The lawn and minimalist pathways are perfect for photos; you can capture atmospheric, ready-to-post shots right away, and every picture is wallpaper-worthy. The high-altitude observation deck offers panoramic views of the Yulong River, with pastoral landscapes and mountains stretching as far as the eye can see. The wooden-themed room is minimalist and super comfortable; you can simply lie back and relax. The kids' club is fantastic: slides, a ball pit, and a swimming pool. The kids can burn off energy all day, giving parents a well-deserved break.

GGuest User5.0 stars! Picking the right hotel in Yangshuo is half the battle won for a successful trip, and this hidden gem on West Street is an absolute must-book! Before coming to Yangshuo, I researched countless hotels, and finally chose BO HOTEL. It completely exceeded my expectations – the location, facilities, and service were all impeccable, truly deserving of a five-star rating! 📍 **[Prime Location: All Your Shopping, Dining, and Entertainment Needs Met]** The hotel is right at the entrance archway of West Street. Step out, and you're in the bustling pedestrian street, filled with local snacks, souvenir shops, and pubs. In the evening, you can explore the night market and grab late-night snacks within a 2-minute walk. No need for a taxi when you're out late, which feels incredibly safe. The hotel is also within walking distance of the Li River, where a stroll by the river breeze is super relaxing. You can rent the hotel's electric bikes and reach Yulong River bamboo rafting and the Ten-Mile Gallery in just 20 minutes; the bikes are in great condition, making transportation super convenient. It's about a 40-minute drive from Yangshuo Station. If you're driving, there's free underground parking, so no worries there. 🏨 **[Impeccable Design, 100% Photo-Worthy]** The light industrial design really spoke to me! The lobby is thoughtfully decorated, with a stylish spiral staircase. The public areas also feature a coffee corner and a reading nook, perfect for capturing atmospheric photos. We stayed in the West Street Night View King Room. The room layout was well-designed, and the large floor-to-ceiling windows offered panoramic views of the vibrant West Street nightlife, with glimpses of the distant undulating mountains – beautiful both day and night. The most pleasant surprise was the soundproofing. Despite being right next to West Street, the soundproof windows kept the noise out, allowing even light sleepers to enjoy a full night's rest. 🛏️ **[Comfortable Details for a Worry-Free Stay]** The bedding features a KingKoil zero-pressure mattress, soft and comfortable, providing instant relaxation. The pillows and duvet were high-quality, ensuring a natural wake-up call. The room facilities were comprehensive, with smart home controls throughout – just a voice command to switch lights or open/close curtains. The separate wet and dry bathroom was clean and tidy, with ample hot water, and the disposable amenities were of unexpectedly high quality. For families with children, the Kids' Fun Family Room is available, equipped with rocking horses and children's toys. The hotel also has a dedicated children's play area, allowing kids to have fun while parents can relax.

GGuest UserGet this hotel!!! We were supposed to stay for a night and then decide what to do - we ended up staying 3 nights and were very sad to leave. Every so often when you travel your hotel experience significantly improved your holiday - this was one of those cases! First of all the basics, we were looking for a nice family friendly hotel walking distance from the beach - and this certainly fit that category. The rooms are fine, you could see the sea from the windows, comfortable beds, pretty clean, slippers, plenty of towels, wifi everywhere etc. There was also a small playground for small kids and hammocks (picture) etc which was cool, we also saw mahjong tables, but didn't have the time to play. The hotel is located near a fairly large field, filled with exotic birds, butterflies and crickets etc. There were also geckos everywhere (love them), but we didn't see any inside the room. There were some mosquitos outside on the terrace (don't love them), but the repellent took care of those and we didn't have any in our rooms. Felt like you were near nature, in a good way. The kids loved to play on the beach, it's great for sand castles (the hotel had buckets and shovels free of charge) and searching for crabs, fish, shells, sea snails etc... The moms loved it too, especially to walk around and explore during low tide. (the hotel also provided equipment to catch crabs and other sea creatures etc if you wanted to - they also had a service to cook them for you) We especially enjoyed playing under a nearby pier during low tide to avoid getting badly sunburned. The supermarket across the street sell dozens of single malt whiskys and beer from all over the world (they also have ice cream and other stuff) - and the dads recommend the roof terrace for that after the kids are asleep. (picture) If you know how to ride a scooter/ebike they rent them across the road too, and it's the best way to explore the island. The small roads (almost devoid of cars) were awesome to drive on, just remember to stay safe. I don't usually care much about breakfast, but the included breakfast was great! (picture) The kitchen staff was also super laid-back about the whole thing - this whole hotel radiated a very laid back tropical island feel that made you forget you were in China. However the reason I write this review is because of the owner. (last picture) (I'm not sure if he speaks English though, but I'm sure you'll manage) Super chill guy! Immediately after booking he contacted us to arrange the transport from the boat. He helped us buy tickets for the trip back. He was willing to come and pick us up at any time if we got lost on the island. He had great recommendations about basically everything, and whenever we made plans we were sure to ask for his advice. He was basically always reachable over wechat too. These are just some of the things that he didn't have to provide, but did (or offered): unlimited cold drinking water, ice, proper glasses, a coffee grinder, buckets, shovels, hats, umbrellas, sunscreen, aloe vera plants, flashlights, mosquito repellent etc etc and it feels like we only scratched the surface. It feels like whenever I asked him for something he always had a solution that exceeded my expectations. Great host! I've traveled to almost 100 countries and while this wasn't the fanciest hotel I've stayed in by any means, this was one of the most memorable hotel experiences I've ever had. If anyone I know plans to visit this island I will for sure recommend this place.

AAnonymous UserChoosing the right accommodation truly doubles your happiness when visiting Yangshuo! This time, I stayed at the Weiboo Mountain Villa Hotel (Yangshuo West Street Branch), which perfectly balanced convenience and tranquility. The value for money was exceptional, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Yangshuo. The hotel's location is absolutely prime, situated at No. 36 North Road, Yangshuo County. It's just a 5-10 minute walk to the heart of West Street's commercial area, making it super convenient for dining, shopping, and enjoying a drink at a bar. Yet, it manages to avoid the street's hustle and bustle, offering a wonderfully peaceful experience amidst the vibrancy. Transportation around the hotel is also incredibly convenient; you can walk to the Li River, ride an electric scooter to the Ten-Mile Gallery in about 15 minutes, and it's not far from Xingping Ancient Town or the Impression Liu Sanjie scenic area. It's ideal for both independent travelers and families. Stepping into the hotel, I was immediately captivated by its New Chinese style. The ground floor features a traditional Chinese courtyard with beautiful bonsai and a pond, creating a misty, ethereal atmosphere perfect for photos. The public area also has a tatami tea room that offers complimentary coffee and tea, making it a delightful spot to relax, sip tea, and chat. The most surprising feature was the 800-square-meter sky garden on the 5th floor, boasting a 360-degree observation deck and an Instagram-worthy infinity pool. With Yangshuo's iconic karst landscapes as the backdrop, you can watch the Li River sunset on a clear day or admire the mountain mist on a rainy day. Every picture taken here turns out stunning; my friends couldn't stop snapping photos. In the evening, they even host open-air movie screenings here, which, combined with the gentle breeze, creates an incredible ambiance. The room decor was equally impressive. The minimalist yet tasteful interiors are complemented by large, bright windows. Some room types even come with a scenic balcony and a separate bathtub, allowing you to enjoy the green mountains and waters while bathing. Our mountain-view king room was spacious and impeccably clean. The smart home features were very convenient to use, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a restful night's sleep. For families, the duplex panoramic king room is perfect, featuring a private viewing terrace and a swing, spacious enough for the whole family to gather. The thoughtful service was evident in every detail. The front desk staff were cheerful and enthusiastic, happy to answer all our travel questions, and even helped us book tickets and plan our itinerary. The hotel thoughtfully provides free electric scooter rentals – the pink and green scooters are super eye-catching on the road, and riding them to the Yulong River for rafting or through the Ten-Mile Gallery was incredibly enjoyable. The breakfast was truly generous, offering Guilin rice noodles, assorted grains, eggs, fruits, and soy milk – all plentiful and delicious, providing a perfect start to the day's adventures. Additionally, there's a children's play area, self-service laundry, and luggage storage, making it stress-free for those traveling with kids. For just over 100 RMB per person, you can stay in a scenic room and enjoy so many high-quality services – the value for money is truly exceptional. Whether it's a romantic getaway, a trip with friends, or a family vacation, this hidden gem of a hotel nestled among the mountains and rivers will meet your needs. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Yangshuo!

GGuest UserThis was my first trip to Guilin, and since I was traveling with both elderly family members and children, I really wanted to choose a high-quality hotel. Initially, I was quite hesitant after reading other guest reviews that mentioned it shared a building with an economy hotel. However, once we actually checked in, everything from the friendly reception at the front desk to the hotel's interior decor, and especially the warm and attentive service from the staff, made me feel it was every bit as good as a branded star-rated hotel. I'd like to share a few thoughts about the hotel: 1. The hotel breakfast was incredibly rich and varied, with high-quality ingredients, offering both Chinese and Western options. 2. The hotel staff were exceptionally professional. They recognized each group of guests and greeted and assisted them accurately and appropriately. 3. Although the hotel isn't large, they organized a variety of activities during the Chinese New Year, which was perfect for families with children. 4. The hotel's decor was very distinctive, from the artwork and carpets to the wall decorations, all contributing to a unique and cohesive style. This trip to Guilin, the 'Poetry and Faraway' brand left a fantastic impression on me. I hope you continue to thrive.

GGuest UserHad an incredible stay here! The views are stunning (probably one of the best out of all the other accommodations nearby), the room was clean and the service was friendly. It's a family owned business and everyone is lovely. If you're taking a bus, it won't drop you all the way to the hotel but if you give the hotel a call, someone can come pick you up from the bus stop. I had a bit of a miscommunication with my previous hotel who arranged a coach for us that dropped us off at a very far away drop off point and someone still came and picked us up from there with no complaints (and did not charge us for it)!! We were also dropped back off at the bus stop on the day we left. No one spoke much English which made it a little harder, but we got by with a translator app. There are quite a few stairs to go up to get to the hotel which isn't great if you have lots of heavy luggage so I'd recommend packing lightly if possible. Having said that, if you have average fitness, you should be fine getting up and down the stairs, the trek is not too long. The views are definitely worth it! Would stay again for sure.

AAnonymous UserThe breakfast was pretty good and quite varied, with a delicious selection of rice noodles. The service was decent, and the room environment was also nice. There were a few minor issues with cleanliness, but the hotel staff handled them proactively and to my satisfaction. The price was a bit on the expensive side, but it was a good deal when there was a promotion. During peak season, room rates would be even higher. The hotel is conveniently located near attractions, making it easy to get around. I'd consider staying here again if I have the chance.

HHaoyunlailyyThis hotel in Yangshuo was such a pleasant surprise! You get amazing mountain views right from your room. The rooftop 'Sky Mirror' offers stunning panoramic views of the winding Li River – it's like a built-in filter for your photos, every shot looks professional! The hotel's location is excellent, right next to West Street, making it super convenient for exploring and dining. Plus, there's free parking, which is a huge bonus if you're driving. They offer a complimentary buffet breakfast, and the rooms are spacious. I loved relaxing on the balcony sofa during the day, just unwinding and enjoying the mountain scenery, and then watching the sunset in the evening – it felt like time just slowed down. The room I booked even had a soaking tub, and bathing while looking at the mountains was incredibly relaxing! For anyone looking to escape the city for a bit, a weekend here is truly rejuvenating!

1118504****After booking, I received a call asking about any special requests. I mentioned wanting to avoid a room at the end of the hall, and during check-in, they thoroughly explained that the hotel has a circular layout, so there's no such thing as a 'room at the end of the hall.' Seeing that I was a Diamond member, they proactively upgraded me to a high-floor deluxe king room, which was great! Parking was convenient, and upon check-in, I found fruit, coffee, and tea readily available. This hotel really broke my preconceived notions about traditional five-star hotels; it has a bit of a St. Regis or Park Hyatt vibe. The independent cafe next door, 'Daydream,' is truly a hidden gem, especially their cold brew. It has a rich flavor with almost no bitterness – absolutely delicious!

Environment: Both the hotel's amenities and the surrounding area are great. The hotel has a children's playground where the kids had a blast, and a swimming pool. Breakfast was plentiful, and the dining environment was excellent. Service: The service was warm and thoughtful; the kids didn't want to leave!
