Amazing Hotel to stay in! Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Hotel was clean, easily accessible to many attractions at wulingyuan. Airport transfer was made really helpful to us as we landed late due to a delay but staff was accommodating and waited for us. Definitely recommend this place of stay and will definitely be back!

If you go in off peak season the town is very quiet and serene. The staff were lovely and helped us with all our questions and also kindly offered to drop us off at the station. Highly recommend if you want to stay within walking distance to the national park.

We were picked up by their housekeeper from the Zhangjiajie West Railway Station. We checked in to 5 nights stay during the off-peak season and the town was very quiet and serene. The staff were friendly and tendered to our queries with their great knowledge. Great to have them in helping us to plan our activities, making the most of our visit and even helped us to book the Tianzi Mountain Entrance Ticket. I would highly recommend if you want to stay within walking distance to the national park otherwise it would be very far from the city centre. Getting a DiDi ride to the city centre is also a problem as there are limited drivers. We even encountered driver sending us back to our hotel from the city centre having to stop by a charging station as driving up the mountain drained the car’s battery…. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained. Returning back to our stay every night with the bed warmers in the room feels so much comfy and cosy. Not to mention that breakfast is provided which includes toast, butter, jam, fruit, yoghurt, piping hot noodles with fried egg and some snacks. Such a homely meal !

My stay at Z Plus Mountain Resort Inn in Zhangjiajie was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and stunning views. Location: 🌲🌄 The location is absolutely breathtaking, just a few minutes walk away from one of the entrances of the beautiful Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. The scenery is like something out of a dream, with towering quartz-sandstone peaks and lush greenery all around. It’s a perfect spot for nature lovers and photographers alike. Accommodation: 🛏️🌟 The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained. I stayed in two different room types, both had incredible views. I particularly loved the modern decor with touches of traditional Chinese elements, like the seating arrangement for tea. This blend added a unique charm to my stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a day of exploring the park. Extra points for having bed warmers in the room as my feet get really cold at night. Service: 🤝✨ The staff at Z Plus Mountain Resort Inn were exceptional. They were friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with any requests or questions. Their local knowledge was invaluable in helping me plan my activities and make the most of my visit. I also had the pleasure of meeting THE most incredible guide, Ming. Without him, my trip would not have been as magical. His insights and passion for the area truly enriched my experience. If you ever need a guide ask for Ming, he will make your trip truly unforgettable! Overall Experience: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We stayed 5 nights at the Z plus Resort and had a great time! The rooms were nicely decorated and very clean! New bottles of water were provided every day. The staff is super nice and helpful! The staff booked the tickets for the national park for us and recommended very nice hiking routes. The nearest entrance to the park is within walking distance in 5 minutes and a great starting point! After hiking, you can refresh yourself in the pool, enjoy the view and then have dinner in the hotel's own restaurant. Opposite the hotel there is also a nice bar with a large selection of beers to end the evening. Next door there is a kiosk. The breakfast buffet includes toast, butter, jam, fruit, yoghurt and various typical Chinese dishes. The airport shuttle was punctual and reliable. We would definitely recommend the hotel.

Nice service, good Mountain View, 10mins to the middle gate of the park by foot. Nice people and nice breakfast!

Room is huge, great for family. However, do take note that there’s a steep slope before going up to the room.

This hotel doesn't deserve the ranking and pricing of hkd 1500-2000. While the location is supposedly prime because of its scenery and very near to the entrance of the Zimu station to forest park, it is very far away from the center. There are not enough restaurants/cafes to support the isolation. And it doesn't help because the food by the hotel is not palatable. The room is big but the building and furniture maintenance is poor. There is a smell from the toilet drainage and the furniture are worn out. The dining area for breakfast is dirty and the food served did not meet the taste and hygiene standard of a good hotel. The only saing grace was the friendliness of the receptionist. Highly not recommended until the operator/owner wakes up to being responsible for matching the price to its quailty. It is a wonder to me that it had so much good ratings in Ctrip that I am left wondering if I am asking too much or Ctrip review is not reliable at all?

we had a lovely stay at z-plus! once we booked the accomodation, the host quickly reached out to us via WeChat, arranged for transport to pick us up from zhangjiajie city. The accomodation is extremely close (5+ minutes?) walk to the 中门 (centre gate) which is so much less crowded compared to wulingyuan. the rooms are clean, spacious and the host gave us really good recommendations where would be good to hit up in the park given the weather and time we had. would highly recommend Z-plus!

My stay was simply wonderful ! Beaufitul room, very clean with a beautiful view on the mountains. They picked me up at the airport and took me back to my next destination which is amazing. Xiao Long gave me incredible service throughout the stay with perfect itinerary for Zhangjiajie Park. I recommend this hotel without hesitation !

The rooms are great, more than enough space, great view of the mountain, comfortable bed and it’s being thoroughly cleaned everyday. The location is good, it’s close to one of the (smaller) gates, tianmen mountain is about one hour away (costs about 60-70 rmb when you order a taxi yourself). The wulingyuan gate is about 30 rmb and takes 20 minutes or so. The breakfast in the hotel is pretty minimal, it has a selection of 8 steamed products, some deep fried stuff, freshly made noodles and eggs/white bread to toast. In the village of the hotel there’s a limited selection of restaurants, as foreigner you’re very likely to just eat at the hotel. The food is fine it is however relatively expensive and you’re probably cheaper off taking a taxi to wulingyuan and eat at a local place. The staff is super friendly and willing to help out with planning events or answering questions. All with all a great stay, I enjoyed my stay at the hotel but I do think that when spending around 100 euro/800 rmb per night (in China) I shouldn’t feel like I’m getting the minimum while feeling like any additional services are charged at a premium.
