Hotels near Ljan Church in Oslo

Qualtiy Hotel Entry has a great location close to the main road E18 approximately 11 kilometers south of Oslo. The hotel has a large car park and offers parking for NOK. 150 per day and night. From the hotel there are good bus connections to the center of Oslo. Hvervenbukta beach is only a short walk from the hotel. The hotel's common areas appeared to be clean, modern and well maintained.. The hotel has both a bar, a restaurant and a separate fitness room. The guest room was simply furnished and consisted of two beds, an armchair, flat screen TV, a desk and a bar stool that was intended as a desk chair. There was no aircondtion or minibar in the room. The mattresses and pillows appeared somewhat worn and should have been replaced. However, the bed linen was clean and in good condition. The cleanliness was generally poor, the bins were not emptied and there was rubbish from the previous guest both in the bathroom and the guest room. There were also several stains on the walls, curtains and furniture. The bathroom had underfloor heating and was simply furnished. There was dispenser soap both at the shower and sink. In addition to this, a test set of face creams was laid out on the bed. The maintenance could be somewhat better in both guest rooms and bathrooms. There was also no ventilation in the room, which meant that the air quality was perceived as poor. The breakfast was served as a buffet and had a good selection of both hot and cold dishes. The various dishes were nicely presented and there was also a good selection of allergy-friendly dishes. However, the food did not seem fresh and both the cold cuts and the cheese had dried to the edges and seemed to have been left out for a long time. There was also very little flavor in the bacon that was served. The service level of the staff was very variable. Only a few of the employees spoke Norwegian. At check-in we had to wait a long time for some staff to come to the reception and there was a lack of both service comments and information about the hotel's facilities. The female English-speaking employee in the breakfast room was cheerful and pleasant. The hotel has the potential to deliver a good experience, but something should be done with both cleanliness, service level and food quality before I can recommend the hotel to others.

Location is very good 5 minutes walk from Oslo Central Station Opera House is also within walking distance You can get around most of the city by taking the tram. The room also has a double bed, so it's enough for one person. However, there seemed to be a small number of pots and heaters, so the rental had ended. I went to the first floor several times to get hot water. Even if there was no cleaning, it was perfectly fine as it was a 2 night stay. The inside is beautiful. It's cheap and recommended.

You need to ask for towels. Elevators jump and can take only three or four people at a time when the main guest block is folks on a tour bus. Worst breakfast in Norway - low variety of food and overcrowded. The staff seem uninterested in resupplying breakfast but I hardly blame them as the bus crowd filled their bags with food for lunch. Saw one guy fill a plastic container with meat cheese and eggs while grabbing half a loaf of bread for his backpack. The staff watched as he did this then did not replenish the items. Coffee cups so small everyone takes 2 or 3 and plates also super small. Good location but understaffed and staff uninterested. Suggestion - raise the price a bit and attract better staff and serve a better breakfast.

I spent a night at Comfort Hotel Xpress Central Station Oslo, and while it's a no-frills accommodation, it's worth mentioning its cleanliness and thoughtful amenities. The heated bathroom floor was a pleasant surprise, providing an extra touch of comfort. Since it's a straightforward hotel, there's not much to elaborate on, but for a one-night stay, it served its purpose well. The check-in and check-out process was smooth, with friendly and polite staff readily available to assist if needed

Very good location to everywhere . 2 stops tram from main station. Walking to shopping street nearby. Clean hotel and the staff very friendly. Good breakfast also.

Lovely hotel equipped with fancy gadgets like colour changing lights, very nice amenities especially love the body lotion. Room is clean and breakfast spread is very good, staff is very friendly too. Highly recommend! One possible challenge will be it may be stuffy/warm during summer, but it is fine for us in April.

We stayed here for three nights this week. We checked in late and were given room 501. It was an ok room but the windows were high up on the walls and difficult to see out. Since we had booked a superior room we asked to switch to a better room in the morning. The guy at the front desk seemed very bothered by our request and quickly said without checking that they were fully booked and we should just spend our time outdoors and not in the room. Very unprofessional attitude. I know help is hard to get but this guy should be furloughed. Later that same day we asked another gentleman at the front desk if we could change rooms. He immediately said he would look into it and gave us room 239 with large windows overlooking the plaza and Karl Johan Gate. I wish I had his name. He was a black person, and should be given a raise. Takk skal du ha. Very conveniently located with access from inside the train station. Just walk towards Karl Johan Gate and it’s on the left just before you exit the station. Easy walking, train, tram, ferry access to all the things to see. Excellent breakfast with a large array of hot and cold choices. We’d stay here again in room 239 not 501.

Hotel situated near the Oslo Central Station, Should try the Top Bar where they serve cocktails and other drinks

It was a really excellent hostel. Clean. Has all facilities and in the perfect location. The only thing I can suggest hostel improvement is to ask guests what they plan on doing at the hostel as, I stayed in a 12 bed mixed dorm and only met 2 people my age who wanted to meet and become friends and hang out etc. The rest were boring 50+ and even one 72 year old who was living there and was a let down as they kept complaining that we were talking after 11pm. If the young ones and old ones, or the quiet ones and the meet friends and go out ones are seperated, this hostel could be 5**

The location is great, right in the centre of Reykjavík, 5 minutes walk to reach the main attractions. The room was clean and tidy and there was a complimentary breakfast offered which was great.
