Stayed for two nights to easily explore Intramuros, Fort Santiago, Luneta Park and etc. They gave 2 key cards. Required PhP2k deposit, could be via credit card or cash. We love the A/C in the room but not the penthouse, where the breakfast buffet is. Speaking, the food is how I remembered before the great break for mankind in 2020. It’s simple and basic yet really I find enjoyable. We enjoyed their coffee. The view from our room was beautiful. Ours was clean and there’s no carpet which I like. And now I’m reminded how we were greeted with stinky carpet going to Rafaelle. By the way, this restaurant revamped its menu. In my opinion it’s not for the better. There’s also no way to do advance order. Even when declared that you’re staying at the hotel and a heart beat away. I gave my full name that could be verified with the reception. The return call was to turn down my request. It was composed of fragments of words, some phrases. From that call, I didn’t understand their reason for not agreeing. Anyhow, alert to Mommies and Daddies with hungry babe/s in tow. Quite unfortunate.

Very nice place. Amazing view on the skybar. We enjoyed the room and it was spacious and very clean.

Rooms were Re painted but everything looked old. No slippers, bathrobes, not enough shampoo. The skybar has wonderful views.

Impeccable room only had to ask for more toilet paper, because they don't make the room between two nights, but brought a few minutes later by room service Very warm welcome, they ordered us a Grab (local Uber) for our departure. The hotel is located in the very historical center, 7 minutes to the cathedral and 10 minutes to the fort. The staff is very friendly, always ready to help. We got a room on the 8th floor (801), the room is large, there is a lot of space, it is obvious that cosmetic repairs were done not so long ago, everything is quite fresh. There are no smells in the room. The view is good on the cathedral. The room is very dark, really very dark! In the shower I shaved with a flashlight from the phone, since it was very difficult to see. In the room itself, the lamps were also quite dim, that was the maximum. The corridor smelled damp, I think from the carpet. The restaurant on the very top floor helped out, since there are not many normal places to eat nearby. One evening we came to the restaurant 40 minutes before closing, and there they were already collecting chairs, pillows, no one met us, we sat down at the table ourselves, waited for about 7 minutes, the staff seemed not to notice us, after that I had to go to the bar myself and ask for a menu, after that they paid attention to us. It looked extremely strange .... The dishes are served in the restaurant quickly, the views of the city are excellent. Breakfasts are held in the restaurant 1 floor below, a fairly good selection of dishes, there is something to choose from, but little fruit, almost none. The hotel itself is suitable for a couple of days, we were waiting for our next flight there, for the most part we always stayed in the hotel, since we did not feel safe in the city, since there are a lot of strange people on the streets.

Old, dirty hotel, but the location is top. Breakfast is also not bad. But we will definitely not return here.
