A very, very perfect accommodation experience. It is definitely the most comfortable and warm B&B I have ever stayed in. The accommodation environment is clean and immaculate, full of Japanese style, full of experience, and the service is considerate and warm. The boss and his wife are really nice! They helped us selflessly and enthusiastically time and time again. I am really grateful and touched. Unfortunately, the score is only five points, otherwise I really want to give it 100 points! Although the trip is short, the memories are long-lasting. Because I have never lived in Kyoto, I want to come back to Kyoto countless times ~

The experience is amazing. The room, the garden, the staffs and the location (outside the center so we can relax) are perfect. We had a garden-view room with a balcony that we could enjoy our drinks very relaxing!

Checked in but was given a bed that was already taken, however they rectified it quickly and switched me to a female dorm instead of my previously booked mixed- dorm. Showers are clean and there is a common kitchen area on 2nd floor and lounge area on 1st floor. The location is near bus stops which can get you to the train station. The bunks are quite spacious with an area to place your baggage as well. Great for solo travellers. Do note that there is a ¥200 fee per night that you will need to pay upon check in.

The hotel is far away from Kyoto Station. After getting off the Shinkansen, it takes more than half an hour to transfer to the subway or walk. It is recommended to take a taxi. The fare is about 1,000 yen. Walking up from the hotel is the 2nd and 3rd-year-old hills. Go down and turn right and you will reach Hanamikoji. It is basically in the center of the scenic spot. If you are traveling independently, you can consider it. The facilities in the room are complete, clean and tidy, and there is a welcome card handwritten by the staff. The old man at the front desk was very enthusiastic. He helped us carry our luggage as soon as the taxi arrived. He also bought us water and sent us to the door of the room. The service attitude was very good. It rained heavily that day, and the Shinkansen was out of service. We missed the check-in time. We called the hotel first, but the front desk asked us for 400 yen (200 per person) when we checked out. It seemed that it was because we missed the check-in time. So there is a fee, because I was in a hurry and didn’t ask clearly, and it seems that the platform didn’t write it clearly. In any case, if you arrive late, you must call to inform us. The hotel has access control, otherwise you will not be able to enter.

The reception location is different from Google Maps. You must go to the address written in the email before check-in, and it is near Toji Temple at Kyoto Station. The location of the accommodation is good for going to Cheongsui Temple and Kodaiji, but the surrounding area is quiet as it is a residential area and you have to walk a bit to the shopping area. The facilities are clean, but the bathtub is for one person, the garden is small, and you can't even see it when it gets wet... The bedding is satisfactory. Please note that the entrance to the accommodation is good, so it may be difficult to enter with an extended 28-inch suitcase. Available up to 24 inches
