The location was perfect, but the sound isolation of the hotel is bad so each night we would get waken up by loud bikes, cars, emergency vehicles or guests above. Services is average, they need a better way to deal with switching out towels and trash from rooms, even tho they just clean after 4 nights stay.

There are many shops right downstairs from the hotel, which is super convenient. It's also close to attractions, so I'd definitely recommend it. The rooms are clean and hygienic, and the staff are friendly. You do have to walk a short distance to get to the bus or metro station though.

Shopping and dining options are plentiful at the nearby Nishiki Market, and attractions like the Kamo River, Kennin-ji Temple, and Yasaka Shrine are all within walking distance. The room, while not large, was very well-designed. It was clean and hygienic, equipped with a small fridge and a safe, and the soundproofing was quite good. My room's orientation meant that the noise from motorbikes speeding down the main road at night wasn't much of an issue. The location is absolutely fantastic; you can drop off your shopping and head back out. There are 7-Eleven and FamilyMart convenience stores nearby, and directly opposite is the Bal department store. Just a short walk away, you'll find Uniqlo, Loft, Don Quijote, Takashimaya, and Nishiki Market... There are several bus stops for various routes nearby, and both Keihan and JR train stations aren't far. Plus, there are plenty of great restaurants. Overall, I highly recommend it. For those who are light sleepers, I'd suggest bringing an eye mask and earplugs.

This hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, right in the heart of Kyoto's Shijo Kawaramachi area, making public transport incredibly convenient. It's surrounded by shopping centers, supermarkets, and great restaurants, and it's also close to the Kamo River. We didn't encounter any noisy motorbikes at night, so our stay was very comfortable. The front desk service was excellent. I'll definitely book this place again on my next visit.

The hotel is in a very convenient location, close to the Shijo Kawaramachi area with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The room was clean and well-maintained, making the stay comfortable and pleasant. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the check-in and check-out process was smooth. Although the facilities are relatively simple, they include everything necessary for a short trip or business stay. Overall, it was a great experience with good value for money. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kyoto.
