Overall, a good stay at Mercure Kashgar. The hotel offers comfortable rooms and decent facilities, but the cleanliness standards could be improved. Housekeeping was acceptable, though more attention to detail would enhance the guest experience. Staff were friendly and the location was convenient. With better cleanliness, this hotel would be an even better choice for travelers visiting Kashgar.

Check-in at the front desk was efficient and quick, and the staff were gentle and patient. I pre-booked the complimentary airport/train station shuttle service, and the business van was punctual for both pickup and drop-off. When I needed something, I called housekeeping, and a staff member brought it to my room within minutes, along with complimentary local fresh fruit. 👍

Luggage storage during your stay is completely free. With its chain quality and prime location in the ancient city, it's the top choice for a long stay in Kashgar.

The whole room featured smart electric curtains and voice-controlled systems. Hot water was instant, and the WiFi was stable and never lagged. The mattress was very comfortable, and the soundproofing at night was excellent. After exploring the ancient town, I slept soundly back in my room.

The breakfast is an absolute steal! It perfectly blends local southern Xinjiang specialties with common northern and southern Chinese dishes. You've got handmade yogurt, freshly baked naan, a full spread of local cold dishes, a live noodle station, and fresh leafy greens – a real rarity in Xinjiang. Every day, I'd fill up before heading out to explore the ancient city. The ingredients were fresh, and the flavors were spot on.

The hotel's location is excellent, just about 10 minutes from the Old Town. The gentleman who helped us check in was very patient and enthusiastic. He even took us to the rooftop to see the incredible views, which overlook the entire Old Town.

The location is absolutely unbeatable!!! The staff were patient, enthusiastic, and very good-looking too! They proactively upgraded me to an Old Town view room before check-in. Although the room wasn't large, it had a small, dedicated space for enjoying the view, directly facing the Old Town and the Kunlun Tower. As night fell and the lights flickered, I could feel the vibrant atmosphere of Kashgar. On my first night, I simply sat by the window, and the world suddenly became still. The prime location is truly unmatched. A staff member even told me that I could be escorted to the rooftop balcony to get a 270-degree panoramic view of the east and west sections of the Old Town. With the sunset casting its glow over the ancient city from that 270-degree vantage point, can you imagine the beauty...? Excellent value for money, superb location, thoughtful service, and stunning views – highly recommended.

The hotel boasts an amazing view, especially from the 18th-floor sky garden, where you can take in a panoramic view of Kashgar Old City. At night, the city lights create a fantastic atmosphere. My stay was exceptionally pleasant and comfortable!
