Hotel 81 Lavender

Good place for short term visits. Conferences, seminars, etc. Busy hotel also. Location can use either mrt (400 mtrs away) or bus located near Aperial mall (opposite main road). Can google bus rides.

We travel for business & also holiday. We read from the review about the good of this hotel but our own experience was terrible. 1. I dont mind with small room as long as it is clean but once we enter the room we checked everything we saw a cockroach inside the bathroom and on the dressing table😩 2. Due to that we afraid to eat anything in the room. 3. It said the hotel was newly renovated but whatever they show in the photo was totally different with the real. 4. The entrance should be in the centre but the entrace was far away on the left, right and back of the hotel. It is troublesome for us as we have mang luggage to bring 5. At G flood there was a small mini market which for me convenience but on our first night after our dinner, what we saw was extremely shocking. We saw a big rat minggle around the mini market. And not only one we saw another group queueing at the mini market. However we just ignored but surprisingly there is another big rat at the back entrance of the hotel!which is the place was where they put the dirty linen. Ahh i cannot imagine how hygiene our towel is that eventhough it is dirty but it should be managed properly. On the next day we also saw another big rat at the left entrance and some already death!😰😰😰 who said SG clean leh?the hotel was bad. 6. Last but not least on our last day we saw another cockrack at the tv area. We were really plupset. Not telling about the hard and sponge mattress. I totally regret with our stay. 7. In term of location wise, not really near to mrt. Need to walk like a distance also. Not sure why other travellers said the distance close to everything. 8. Owh and i remember on our 2nd day, when we about to reach the hotel we saw 2 police car and police officer entering the hotel and we wonder whether this hotel is safe or not.

The soundproofing in the room is poor, and it is very noisy. The staff were unhelpful—I lost my passport at the airport, and when I asked to leave my luggage at check-in so I could go back to the airport to retrieve it, they did not provide any support. The door of the room was dirty and had not been cleaned.

This hotel is as per its price , rooms are not clean and old , But I guess this is what you can get in a place like singapore for below USD100 hotel Also this is like a transit hotel for couples to spend a few hours , So its not recommended for families at all - I have leart that in a place like singapore if you need to stay in a good decent hotel you need to pay over USD100

paid S$160 per.night then very narrow room..no good
