Indigo Properties in Harbin

I chose this hotel because of the Indigo brand, as my previous stays at other Indigo hotels left a great impression. Before coming, I saw many reviews on Xiaohongshu mentioning that the front desk service and smoky rooms were major downsides. However, after checking in, my room was actually quite good – no smoke smell at all. The design was unique, the bedding was comfortable, and it was very clean. The front desk service was just average; no major issues, but they weren't particularly enthusiastic, only answering direct questions. The biggest problem, however, was the room's hardware. Perhaps because it's an older hotel conversion, the air conditioning temperature couldn't be adjusted, making the room incredibly cold. When I called staff about it, they actually suggested opening the window to neutralize the indoor and outdoor temperatures 😳! The problem is, the windows are so old that once opened, they won't close. The hotel's greatest asset is its excellent location, right at the end of Central Street, next to the Flood Control Monument, offering unbeatable river views.
