I've had the pleasure of staying at several high-end hotels, including the Hakone Gora Byakudan. Without a doubt, Byakudan surpasses its competitors in every aspect. The service, facilities, and genuine care for guests are exceptional. I only wish I could have extended my stay. The room was flawlessly clean, and the bed provided a truly restful night's sleep. The staff were consistently friendly and attentive, readily available to assist with any needs. The hotel's location is convenient, offering easy access to local attractions. Additionally, the complimentary car service to nearby destinations such as art museums and the cable station was a thoughtful touch. The Japanese dinner and breakfast were beyond delicious, featuring a diverse array of options. The snacks and wine bar were equally impressive. We stayed at Byakudan and loved it. The staff were very kind and high quality of service. From the moment we walked in, we were attended to in great detail and provided excellent service and amenities. We stayed in the Jin Suite and it was very spacious, comfortable, clean and relaxing. The furnishings were a nice blend of Japanese and Western. The open air private onsen was large and private. Every dish in the Kaiseki dinner and breakfast were delicious. We will definitely come back to stay at Byakudan in Hakone Gora again!

Private onsen on the room and you can have your own dinning area were super nice.
You can enjoy all the amenities in the hotel. Highly recommended for couples and families who want to spend time together and do nothing because the atmosphere there was so relaxed.
