Konansou was one of our highlights on our recent trip to Japan. My husband and I, along w our couple friends, stayed for two nights. The staff was so warm and friendly, especially Shirai at the front desk. She was incredibly patient and helpful as we figured out our bus/train tickets. They have a shuttle service to and from Kawaguchiko station, which made getting around in the rain and with bags really easy. (Tip: there is a pay phone at the station if you need to call them when you get in— there are instructions and the numbers of local hotels posted) The food was amazing! Ikeda was our server for our in room dinners, and he was kind and knowledgeable in all the different dishes and how to eat them. I was blown away by the attention to detail and variety of food. It was beautiful. It was our anniversary and we received a special gift— thank you!! Breakfast was a buffet and had a huge selection! It can get busy but there is a lot of seating. Our room was huge and had a beautiful view of the lake and its own private onsen. We enjoyed the quiet and location, which was easy to walk to. The public onsen had so many amenities and was spacious too— not sure if I was lucky, but I was the only one there! We also got to do karaoke, play table tennis, and did our laundry. There was also a rooftop foot spa, where got views of Mt Fuji! Everything you need is here!

This was our best-ever ryokan experience, after 8 years in Japan! We stayed in the Shikibu Suite, the 2nd-largest of 11 rooms, for 2 nights. Our 200sqm suite had an enclosed garden, a private deck with onsen pool, and a separate bedroom, living, and dining/tatami room, all for our family of 4. Although the Presidential Suite looks wonderful in photos, I feel the Shikibu Suite was the more authentic Japanese experience--it had the Old World charm of a Japanese house, all in luxurious, hand-carved wood. The ryokan outdid itself with meals--Kaiseki for dinner, and a choice of West or Japanese breakfast. Kudos to the Chef and our hostess, Akiko san. The service was superb--Sato san met our car upon arrival in the rain, giving everyone an umbrella, even the kids. Our shoes and luggage wiped in the foyer, we entered our beautiful suite, followed closely behind by the lady Sato san, with out afternoon tea. Sato san deserves unreserved praise--he produced in only 2 hours, a beautiful cake at my wife's secret request for our anniversary dinner, plus an unexpected flower bouquet, which was a real surprise for her. Thank you to all the staff at Osenji Yumedono Ryokan--we would love to come back again someday.

super nice! ! The room is large, comfortable, and clean. There are two sofas and a microwave oven. It has a very family atmosphere and is very warm. The lady at the front desk is super nice. It was raining on the day we arrived, she helped us dry our suitcases, introduced the facilities in the room in detail, and gave us a map of the surrounding area. I also chatted with her a few more words, very enthusiastic. We arrived 3 hours earlier than the check-in time, but the room was cleaned up so we were allowed to check in early. This is quite flexible, I am afraid that the Japanese are very rigid. The location is also very convenient, about 500m away from Kawaguchiko Station, next time I come to Mount Fuji, I will definitely stay here again!

A classic hotel managed by two friendly elderly men. Both ojiisan cant speak English but they both understand whatever i said in English. They both tried to be helpful in anyway. The hotel's staff and crew are elderly people as well. The hotel is near to Kawaguchiko bus and train station (less 100m). There is a bicycle rental shop a few metres from its left side. The twin bed room i booked is small but comfortable and a few spaces for me to perform my solat. The sliding window is weird too and since i didnt know how to close it, we got our room wet from the rain that night 😭. The beds are comfortable with a small pillow each. The bathroom and toilet are small too but clean, complete with basic toiletries - clean towels, a hard toothbrush and toothpaste, a tiny soap and a packet of shampoo. However becareful with the hot water because the flow isnt stable and you will find yourself burnt from the sudden hot flows. Inside the room we have a TV, aircond (the room is hotter during summer even with an aircond), slippers, yukata (do not fret if you didnt bring a nightdress), two little chairs and a small table, a few packets of green tea, glasses and a weird kettle with Japanese instructions 😭😭😭 which we failed to understand. No mineral water in bottles provided so we used the boiled tap water. The vending machines downstaires do not provided mineral waters too. 7 Elevan and Lawson are about 200m to 300m from the hotel (on the right side). I got all of my rations from the Kawaguchiko Station because it is nearer to the hotel and the station. has all types of vending machines

- The room is nice and big, with a bathtub, a sofa, and room for luggage. I asked about the price of breakfast, but the answer was that there was no breakfast. -The hotel has hot springs + massage chairs (pay attention to the time). - There is also a shuttle bus (but please check with the hotel for details) -The hotel is 15-20 minutes away from the station (we took a taxi to the hotel), and there are several souvenir shops, restaurants (but close early, it is recommended to eat dinner early), and convenience stores around. - There are scenic spots about 10 minutes walk from the hotel, you can take the cable car up the mountain (pay attention to the time, it closes earlier) - There are mailboxes + souvenir shops at the station - The hotel staff is very friendly, come on

We were greeted by the stunning views of the lake the moment we stepped into the hotel lobby. The room was lovely as well, with a similarly beautiful view of the lake. Thankfully, we were placed on the same floor as the lobby, as the hotel did not seem to have any lifts. We opted for both dinner and breakfast to be included in the plan, and they were a delectable spread. However, I would note that the service during mealtimes seemed to be more curt, and the servers seemed to be in a hurry to serve the courses, and did not really explain to us what we were having. The food, however, was without a fault. As the hotel is set on a rather steep hill, it would be better to contact the hotel for them to pick you up from the station or to send you to the station. Do note that the shuttle service does not run between 11am and 2pm though. Overall, a good option for a traditional stay in the Kawaguchiko area.

As a traveller with large tattoos, I wanted to leave a review here confirming that this onsen allows for guests with tattoos. This is the onsen review only. I went in the early afternoon on a Saturday and, while initially I shared the onsen with 4 other Japanese ladies, eventually I had the whole onsen for myself. Very hot water, 1 indoor pool and 2 outdoor pools, although one was not in use and empty. 1000 yen for 2 hours (bring your own towels), English website, easy to access from Kawaguchiko station.

The best hotel I've stayed in my 3 weeks in Japan yet. Friendly staff, clean modern and eco-conscious hotel, room big enough for all luggages, great view of Mt Fuji from both the room and the breakfast area, great public bath, quiet enough rooms, free parking and breakfast. We are on a guided tour and were fortunate to stay at Regina. It was good in every way - great rooms, excellent checkin, hot shower and comfortable bed. WE had a traditional Japanese dinner and it was probably the most complete (and very tasty) meals we have had so far. Also the breakfast was handled smoothly and the food was hot and tasty. Be aware that this hotel is a short way out of town, but has great views of Mt Fuji.

The room was quiet, a little larger than the standard Japanese hotel room even had a partial view of Mt Fuji. We had a small kitchenette. It was definitely dated and unfortunately had the hardest bed we ever slept on, no give at all. Pillows were no better. But having said that, they do have complimentary heating pads!! And they will provide additional pillows. The lake is in walking distance of the the hotel. If you walk outside the hotel and take a right, walk to the light. across the street and to the right is a secondhand store with lots neat things. Still, the overall stay was pleasant.

It's really a great treasure hotel. It's at the foot of Mt. Fuji. The weather was so good when we went. Mt. Fuji took off its milk cover. The clouds in the sky are so beautiful. This resort is just hidden here, and the front desk is very enthusiastic , and Chinese service staff, too kind. Breakfast will be ready and delivered to the room, and the delivery time will be carefully confirmed. Have breakfast in the courtyard. In the hot summer of July, it is so cool here. The resort has a large field, and you can directly overlook the whole view of Mount Fuji from the viewing platform at the back. Isn’t it more fragrant than a net red check-in? Really awesome. The price-performance ratio is too high. Each room takes care of the privacy of customers and has its own name, which gives it a special sense of belonging. Every room can take a bath, 24-hour circulating water, so comfortable, in short, I highly recommend this store.

My wife and stayed here for two nights in twin room 1, overlooking Mount Fuji. We arrived on the 23/10/2019 and left on the 25/10/2019. For the price and location, this is a great place to stay at. It is about 7 minute walk from the bus station. It is close to restaurants and a short walk to the 20km Lake. The bed was comfortable but the pillows are way to soft which can cause a bit of neck strain. The facilities are clean and the shared toilets were near our room which made it convenient. There are two toilets on the second flloor (one is a urinal) and two toilets down stairs. There are also two shared showers. This was never an issue for us as there was only about 10 guests staying here. This place can hold up to 20 or so guests which may cause a line to use the shower and toilets. We had a clear view of Mount Fuji from our balcony, it was a sunny day when we arrived. I do recommend you check out the terrace as the view is awesone on a clear day. The kitchen has cooking facilities, microwave and a big fridge. The main sitting area is near reception. They have free bike hire which is really good, considering some places in town will charge a 1000 yen. It was raining heavily on the day we were leaving and the Manager offered to drive us to the bus station which was very nice of him. He also allowed us to check in early when we arrived and was extremely helpful in providing useful information on things to do. Customer service was amazing and I would have rated my stay as excellent if the pillows were more comfortable. Very good is still a good score.

The experience in this hotel is perfect!! The rooms are exactly the same with the official photos. We are so surprised when we get into the room. The house owners are very nice. They provided detailed restaurants and shops information about the district by sending us email. Free of charge bike renting service is also supplied. It is a house of average Japanese family. There are two toilets and one bath room with bath tube. There are three super king size beds in total. Each can fits in two to three people or more. There is also an Tatami room for more bed spaces or luggages.
