It's a beautiful and very special place. The setting, atmosphere, service, and overall experience were excellent, and we really enjoyed our stay.
The only significant downside was the food pricing. Dining at the hotel felt unjustifiably expensive, even taking into account the usual premium you would expect at a luxury resort. I am perfectly comfortable with higher prices at hotels of this level, but here the difference between the price and what you actually receive felt excessive.
Apart from that, everything was excellent, and HOSHINOYA Fuji is definitely a memorable place to stay.
