Toyoko Inn Fuji Kawaguchiko Ohashi

Near to Kawaguchi Lake, a 16min walk to Kawaguchiko train station. Not many eateries nearby and you have to go to the nearby convenience store to grab ur food and drinks and normally it will be run out if u go too late.The room is rather small, no space to open ur luggage to pack.

Take note there is shuttle van to bring you from the train/ bus station. We did carry out luggage all the way to the hotel as we didn't notice that. Lucky to have a room that able to see Mount Fuji..

The location is great. Commuter bus and welcome coffee are second to none. Clean room with a little smaller bath tub. Breakfast is ok. Dining area becomes public access space after serving breakfast, A great plus.

i would recommend this hotel. self check in, got shuttle van from hotel to kawaguchiko station every 30mins which is very convenient, Close to kawaguchi lake, abt 5mins with bicycle ride. got laundry too

One of the best hotel in Japan so far. Basic amenities are all there. Great restaurant around and has a supermarket nearby as well! Breakfast is average but good enough. Have to come down early for it. For the luggage storage, is while stock last. Come early to secure a slot. It gets snatched up quite fast! Prebook your bus slot to the nearest JR station Mishima. It’s free!

The location is 15 mins walk from Kawaguchiko station if without taking the free shuttle. The breakfast offer is generous and sumptuous from Japanese to western food selection. The room is spacious and clean. Overall is cozy and comfortable stay at this hotel.The walk to Kawaguchiko bridge is o ly 10 mins with the best view of Mount fuji nearest to our hotel. Will surely come back again for the stay.

The location is a bit far from station but walkable. It closed to bus stop red line number 4. The hotel has shuttle bus to station and vice versa in the morning and afternoon. Instead of buying foods from Lawson you can get much better quality and cheaper from local supermarket Ogino. From hotel go to the left and turn left at the traffic (main road) walk pass the bus stop, you will see the supermarket on the left within 5 minutes. Walk further down you will see Mt Fuji and also famous photo spot with Lawson shop in front of Mt Fuji. It is better spot with less people and more space than the one near station. The breakfasts are basic but yummy.

Check in is so late … even if the room is ready early it’s strictly 4pm. On arrival to our room later in the evening there was rubbish left in the middle of the floor from the previous guest!! Even after such a late check in time it’s disappointing to see the room has not been cleaned properly. The carpet also needed hoovering. There are 2 areas for breakfast with slightly different choice but overall it was poor. No milk for the hot drinks … staff member said they had ran out. I went myself and found milk at the other buffet. Breakfast started at 6.30 and by 7.30 everything had almost gone and not been well replenished. Lots of tables were dirty and the clearing station was piled high with washing up. There was only 1 waiter… I think there needs to be a few more staff. There is a shuttle bus which seats around 12 people that departs the reception every 20 minutes, the hotel was full so a bus for 12 people is not sufficient. There were 30 people in the line at 8.15am. Difficult to get a taxi here so we ended up walking 20 mins to the station with our bags. The red bus line had not yet started. Shower was nice and it was hot. Bag storage in the reception which is free. Close to the red line which takes only a few minutes to get to the station and there is access to all other bus lines

Excellent hotel; they have a free shuttle bus that is very important for us. Next round to Mt. Fuji will book the same hotel again.
