I don’t enjoy the stay. Room is nice and wide aside that nothing really nice. For that price I could have gotten better services elsewhere. Don’t blame the staff but just the hotel being cost effectives. Also they won’t help keep the luggage longer.l after check out. We have to pick it back up by 15:00. The breakfast seems nice by plating but taste wise not the best.

Great hotel for the price. Near attractions and station. There is a convenience store about 10-15 mins walk. But stop is right in front of the hotel.

The hotel's location is excellent. It's right by the lake, and the red line bus stop is practically at the doorstep, making it super convenient for getting around. You can even see Mount Fuji from your room! Breakfast was incredibly varied and served by room, so it never felt crowded. The onsen (hot spring) was also great; for just 900 JPY, you can enjoy it for free! The water was very hot though, so I couldn't stay in for too long.

During this family trip, the hotel's management was not rigorous enough. Our booking was for two nights in a premium Japanese-style room, but we were unable to check in on the first night because the front desk staff said the room had been given to other guests. Instead, we were randomly assigned a standard quadruple room. After negotiating with the front desk twice, they agreed to let us change rooms the next day. As a hotel by Lake Kawaguchi at Mount Fuji, there is room for improvement in its management. We hope this will encourage a better stay experience for all tourists.

- Location near to Lake Kawaguchiko, but some traveling is required to see both Mt Fuji and Lake Kawaguchiko in the same view - Service is good, shuttle van is provided to and fro Kawaguchiko Station - Breakfast is very nice, especially the squid balls - Room is spacious and comfortable. Recommend to book the tatami style room.

When I booked, I double-checked with the hotel to confirm that the room would have a window directly facing Lake Kawaguchiko, as well as another window with a view of Mount Fuji. However, upon entering the room, I found there was only one window, and I had to crane my neck to catch a glimpse of Lake Kawaguchiko. The room next door (X11) clearly had one window directly facing the lake and another with a Mount Fuji view. Why weren't we given that room? We booked in early to mid-May, and we even arrived at the hotel before 4 PM on the day of check-in. On top of that, the bathroom in our room was ridiculously small; even an average-sized woman, let alone a man, would struggle to close the door once inside 😂. This was also my first time staying at a Japanese onsen hotel where almost 80% of the staff were non-Japanese, which probably explains why most of the guests were Westerners 🤣. And it was also my first time at an onsen hotel where there were absolutely no skincare products in the onsen area. Were they perhaps so afraid of 'foreigners' misusing them that they stopped providing them altogether?? 🥹

The self check-in was very strange. There were many Japanese staff and a foreign staff members but they insisted that I my name and address manually. Then I had to pay the onsen tax, which is fair. The machine suggested either cash or credit card. I chose credit card and then the staff suddenly popped his head out to tell me to pay cash, which is extremely strange. It was very confusing. Either they set up their machine correctly, or they should stick to traditional check-in since they have a lot of staff. Still after I paid it took quite some time to get the key, they were ineffective. The room was OK, even though my booking was for 2 BEDS and 1 futon but only got 3 MATTRESSES on the tatami floor... I really enjoyed the bathtub with a view on the lake although there are only few of these bathrooms. The outside onsen looked nice but one of the baths was out of use, unfortunately.
