I was expecting to have dinner in my own room, but we have to have dinner in public. I am a little disappointed. However, this hotel is really really nice service, food everyday is different, I love the hot spa, outside spring showering. I love the Japanese style. If I must point something bad, the Wi-Fi is very weak and slow, and my bathroom has a strong tobacco scent. Overall, I will be back here next time. The shuttle bus is on time and good driver!

A room with views over both Lake Kawaguchi and Mount Fuji. We lucked out and got the corner room with views over both and loved the style of ryokan. The baths were also fantastic. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Original ryokan with outdoor and indoor onsen. When you wake up you could see the view of Fujiyama from your room. I would recommend for the one who will stay near by Kawaguchiko.

Made a booking for 3 pax. On a tight budget but managed to find a hotel with onsen at kawaguchiko. Outside is just the red/green line bus stop 6, super convenient. Got a room that faces kawaguchiko at the highest floor. Tatami style was great, clean and strong AC. Especially loved the breakfast and dinner. Got the normal one instead of kaiseki, but it is the most memorable one we had.

Location is the plus point for this hotel. Other than that it has on site Onsen. Rooms a bit old style so does the toilet without the techy toilet bowl. Just a sachet of green tea available inside the room. Not going to elaborate much as it just a quick stop alone and I’m just looking for the cheapest available on Kawaguchiko. Best part is, even from the parking spot, u can see the majestic Fuji-san.

Had an amazing time here! The onsen was a bonus! Peaceful area and a good jump off point to 5th Station Subaru if climbing Mt. Fuji the next day.
