The price is proportional to what you get. I really appreciate the ample common spaces. However, the shared kitchen, convenience store, cafe, and yoga classes mentioned in the description are currently unavailable. It would be great if the information could be updated.

Unfortunately, this hotel turned out to be the worst of my entire two-week trip around China. The staff was friendly, but they didn't speak any English. Overall, the hotel didn't seem particularly foreign-friendly. Simple requests like a fruit bowl or an adapter to charge phone baffled them. When I checked in, I found a clump of long black hair on the bathroom floor. I had to ask them to wash the floors again. The hotel didn't offer any apologies or compliments for this situation. Breakfasts were the most disappointing part. This hotel was the only place in China where I had a bad meal😭 The noodles and even the stewed cabbage were swimming in oil, everything was overly vinegary and garlicky, and there were no fruits, vegetables, or desserts. I ate there only twice in five days, and both times I suffered from severe heartburn. The positive moments are an ideal location and comfortable beds and pillows. I slept well there, even though the room's windows overlooked the highway and not the park as stated when booking.

Ri Yue Ming offers excellent service in many aspects. We wanted to stay in a locally-owned hotel, and it turned out to be a very wise decision. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful—everyone did their best whenever I asked for something. There are many local restaurants around the hotel, and Olympia 66 shopping mall is right across the road—just a 3-minute walk away. Most of the tourist spots were within 20 minutes from the hotel, and there was a convenience store right next door. I absolutely loved their breakfast and afternoon tea service, which offered a variety of Chinese herbal teas along with plenty of pastries, fruits, and more. If you want to experience genuine Chinese hospitality, I’d definitely recommend this hotel. And the manager (I forgot his name) was super friendly—he’ll help you sort out any problems you might have. The front desk service was incredibly warm and welcoming. Since there's no elevator, one of the staff members even helped carry my luggage up to the room, which was a huge help. Any request I made was met promptly. The hotel's ambiance is truly exceptional; the decor is incredibly exquisite, like something out of a Western palace. My room was spacious, bright, and quite clean, with large windows and excellent blackout curtains. The location is also very convenient and easy to find. It's only a two or three-minute walk to Youhao Square Metro Station, and it's close to a major commercial area with plenty of large shopping malls and a wide variety of food options. Downstairs, there's a self-service snack bar with popcorn, which I indulged in quite a bit during my stay! 🍿
