Mushanxi Dali Puyuqing Luxury Homestay Reviews

This time, I brought my family and kids, two families in total, to Dali. Staying at Mushanxi Puyun Guesthouse, the entire experience was absolutely fantastic, a truly unexpected surprise! First, I have to praise the butler service – attentive yet with a perfect sense of boundaries! They communicated check-in details in advance, gave us a warm welcome upon arrival, helped with luggage, and patiently explained the guesthouse facilities and Dali travel tips. Any requests we had were met promptly, making us feel warm and comfortable throughout, like we were among friends. The guesthouse's environment and design are predominantly white and blue! I heard they specifically hired a designer to create it, and the aesthetics are on point, creating an amazing ambiance. Every corner of the suite was meticulously arranged with great attention to detail. The outdoor area was even more stunning, with a large, open lawn, full of greenery. The breeze blowing through was incredibly therapeutic, and every photo taken turned out to be a fresh, beautiful shot. The common areas are well-equipped with leisure zones and photo spots – some visitors even come just for coffee. The room experience was also superb! The beds were soft and comfortable. It's a standalone building with its own terrace and living room. There's also a common terrace area where you can clearly view the majestic Cangshan mountains and immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Dali – it was truly delightful. Transportation is also super convenient. If you're driving, you can drive directly to the guesthouse, and getting around, whether to the ancient city for food, was very smooth. And I must especially commend the breakfast! It was exquisite and rich, with a diverse variety of fresh and delicious options. They even offered a complimentary coffee to guests. It rained today, so choosing a good guesthouse for our stay was especially important. It was perfect for relaxing and unwinding right here at the guesthouse, and there were even a few adorable cats and dogs. Our first stop in Dali was so comfortable that I've secretly added it to my 'revisit list.' Looking forward to it!

An Airbnb beyond expectations! I saw someone recommend this place on Xiaohongshu and decided to give it a try with a 'let's see' attitude. To my surprise, it was genuinely great! The location is excellent; while the ancient town's main street can be a bit noisy, the room itself was incredibly quiet, which is really important! The staff were attentive and thoughtful. It was quite cold yesterday, and they had already turned on the air conditioning for us, prepared hot tea, and even offered blueberries. It was a really warm and welcoming gesture. I rarely write such detailed reviews, but this place is truly worth it. Highly recommend!

The accomodation is in a strategic location, near to the entrance of the ancient city. Every night the ancient city is very vibe and theres a lot to eat and shop and walk around. The room that we stayed is very nice and clean. We absolutely love the bluetooth speaker and enjoy listening to music before we sleep. Every morning we are served delicious breakfast with beautiful view. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Mushanxi and would highly recommend anyone who travel to Dali to this beautiful accomodation. The host is friendly and helpful, they will contact you via wechat prior to checking in to ensure a smooth check-in and stay.

I absolutely loved this guesthouse! Choosing it was the best decision I made on my trip to Dali. The host contacted me early on, giving me directions for parking and even coming out to meet us. To be honest, I found Dali a bit noisy with all the electric scooter horns and the street vendors in the Old Town. But this hotel felt like a peaceful oasis amidst the hustle and bustle. The walk through the alley to get here felt like a hidden gem, leading to a tranquil escape. I even fell asleep comfortably on a sun lounger in the large garden, completely relaxed and away from the noise of the Old Town. In the evening, I enjoyed a bath in the tub and a drink with my loved one on our private balcony. Plus, the breakfast was thoughtfully prepared, and the staff provided excellent service. Thank you for such a wonderful vacation experience. I'll definitely come back if I get the chance, and I truly hope the hotel continues to thrive. This is a heartfelt review.

Conveniently located yet tucked away in a quiet spot, this B&B has a great design! The large lawn garden is really lovely. The service is warm and attentive, and the breakfast is delicious. Highly recommend!

This hotel offers a quiet retreat amidst the bustling area, and it's quite close to Erhai Gate. The backyard, which also serves as the restaurant, gets lovely sunshine during breakfast. Around 11 AM, the cats freely roam the courtyard, creating a very pleasant atmosphere! The room layout is unique, clean, and hygienic. When I found the duvet a bit too warm, the staff promptly replaced it. Their service attitude is excellent.

We stayed in a family room on the second floor with a private patio. It was a clean two-bedroom, two-bathroom unit. The guesthouse is located in an alley off Renmin Road in the ancient city, making it very convenient for getting around, whether by taxi or on foot. In the evenings, you can stroll and eat along the street, and easily pop back to drop off your bags. The housekeeper's service was excellent, and breakfast was a set menu where you could choose your options.

The environment here is absolutely beautiful! It's perfect for a long-term stay, I could live here forever! You can just relax and chill in the backyard restaurant, and there are even cute cats and dogs roaming around! The staff (both the guys and girls) are all super nice too! The room itself was beautiful and very comfortable, and they even upgraded us for free. I'll definitely be staying here again next time I visit!

There are tons of highly-rated restaurants nearby and a lively bar street, so it's always bustling. Second, the decor is stunning, filled with many beautiful and exquisite little items. The B&B also has its own restaurant and garden, overflowing with all sorts of greenery – it’s truly a feast for the eyes. Plus, they offer complimentary breakfast every day, with delicious rice noodles and a salad set. The room even has underfloor heating, which was a lifesaver as it rained for several days during my stay, keeping the room wonderfully warm. I just didn't get a chance to snap photos of the room before my little one messed it up. But what I was most satisfied with was the service – incredibly warm and attentive, always ready to help with anything. I absolutely loved it and will definitely stay here again next time I visit Dali. Highly recommend it to all my friends!

The location is on Renmin Road, and you can drive right up to the entrance. The room decor was exactly to my taste, and the owner was very friendly and provided excellent service. The restaurant feels like a cozy cafe, and having breakfast while looking out at the large lawn outside was incredibly pleasant.
