"I stayed in a Japanese-style room on the fourth floor. The room was super big and the heating was sufficient, which was very warm on winter nights. There were several Chinese waiters in the hotel, so communication was barrier-free. I booked a one-night stay and two-meals package, and the breakfast and dinner were very good."

"A beautiful property with traditional Japanese architecture. Both the Kaiseki dinner and breakfast were exquisite. We thoroughly enjoyed the comfortable outdoor public onsen, as well as the very relaxing private bath (just be sure to book in advance!). Most importantly, I want to express my sincere gratitude to Ms. Umakoshi. My husband felt unwell during the night, and she provided us with so much help and support. "This was my first time trying a Japanese bathhouse, and I loved it! We stayed in a larger room for four people; the adults slept on the beds, and the kids slept on the tatami mats. Dinner was amazing—a semi-buffet with crab legs, yakiniku (grilled pork), sukiyaki, and various kinds of sake. Then we happily soaked in the hot spring. We checked in on a Saturday and didn't meet a single other Chinese person; it was all local Japanese tourists. Highly recommended! Great value for money!"

"All the staff at the hotel were really friendly, theres a public onsen (indoor and rotenba) on lvl 2, and a lvl 6 rooftop footbath. Both days breakfast were delicious. Definitely will revisit the place when i come back to nishiizu. Bus from shuzenji stops right infront of the hotel, traveling back to main town is convienient too."
