Very clean comfortable beds and sofa modern lovely host went at Christmas they put on shows round pool.it was cleaned daily inside and out the only thing we did not like was the paint colour needed toning down to make it more modern it's a sickly bright green god knows who chose that awful colour. Could also do with a few arcade machines instead of having to go into town for something to do like a ****** no idea why 2 stars definitely worth more than that rating.i will be going again

Hotel overall was good. Definitely not a 5* but we enjoyed our visit. We paid extra for a sea view room, which was lovely and room was spacious with a fabulous shower area and lovely balcony that had sun on the evening. However rooms were tired, walls marked and broken floor tiles. Also phone didn’t work so had to visit reception to order room service. Pool area was lovely. Different water temperatures, lots of beds available whatever time you wanted one, however again these need to be changed as quite dirty. The pool restaurant was great. Lovely food, drinks and service but the chairs were grubby. Beach outside the hotel was beautiful. Visited Le Faro restaurant and food was tasty but no ambience. Too bright and music barely audible so just quiet and occasional voices. Need to dim lights and put some decent music on. The Piano Bar was lovely and the couple of entertainers were good, especially the lady on Tuesday. Our biggest disappointment was the resort. Purpose built but not having any personality. The bars and restaurants are either on the road or in a shopping centre. We don’t come on holiday to sit in a shopping centre to eat. Along the sea front there were big areas of land that could have had the bars built on to give nice views. There was also a big paddle court area. Why position this on the sea front? Nobody playing will be looking at the lovely beach and view. Restaurants were too ‘chav’ and very British oriented. One good one we did find was Hopscotch which we’d recommend. Overall we had a good holiday but wouldn’t return, mainly due to resort.

Only stayed one night as late booking due to poor punctuality of Ryanair . It is in a very remote location so I could not stay for more than 2 days but was ideal for a short notice overnight stop . See views were nice and the double glazing stopped at the noise from the sea. This was a waste as the walls were so thin your could hear someone cough in the next room. Felt like the cleaner next door was in our room with us . Never ate as had to leave early the next morning .

¡Espero volver pronto! Check in very quick and easy, the gentleman that gave me the room key was very friendly, the room was clean and smelled amazing (with mini fridge and a fan inside - BE AWARE that the hotel doesn’t have air conditioning) and the bed was very comfy. The hotel is close to all of the main attractions the capital of the island has to offer. I hope to return soon!

I arrived at Castillo in the early evening of October 2nd 2023 as a solo traveller. Having left home some 8 hours previously, I felt tired , hungry , and thirsty and was therefore looking forward to being welcomed to my apartment quickly and efficiently as a holidaymaker. Instead I found myself face to face with a surly and charmless young man who ran through the check in procedure in a bored and disinterested fashion before thrusting a grainy and badly photocopied map into my hand in order to find my apartment myself amongst hundreds of similar white bungalows in the complex At this point I might add I’m the only traveller checking in at that point. Some 45 minutes later I find my apartment after walking round the complex umpteen times , if the check in guy had removed himself from behind the desk and simply pointed to a gate 50 yards up the road all this could have been avoided. The apartment was tired looking , sagging curtains , broken sofa bed , the main beds were uncomfortable metal frame affairs with a mismatched wooden headboard jammed up between them and the walls No air con , simply antiquated ceiling fans/lights which were hard to figure out to keep running without the lights on. Kitchenette appallingly equipped . Something scuttles when I open a cupboard Blocked drains emitting foul odours in the bathroom The roads around the complex are shocking , featuring broken manhole covers , broken electrical boxes , discarded rubbish lying around , and oh watch out for cars randomly crossing your path without warning from the strange little mini roundabouts which allow cars to zoom in front of people in a pedestrian zone. Also beware the electric scooters hacking around everywhere I think I had 3 room service visits in a fortnight , and despite paying for late checkout on my last day I then had a cleaner wondering why I was still there at 12 , I had to google the words paid late check out to get rid of her , obviously someone hadn’t done their job! Finally if you come here and are not particularly fit , it’s approximately 1 1/4 miles to the nearest beach , despite saying beach resort and a steep uphill climb on the return I’m sure Castillo will give the standard reply to this review , but you need to revamp your rooms , employ staff that are good with people , repair your roads , look after your grounds properly , including using the irrigation system in order to avoid the eyesore of dead plants everywhere, last but not least some general information given to guests and proper signage around the place would greatly help!

Really pleasantly surprised! After reading a lot of negative reviews I was quite apprehensive, but after spending a week here with my family, 9 of us in total, we had a brilliant time. We were situated in B block which was very close to the B block pool, reception and restaurant. We stayed in a 1 bedroom bungalow, myself, my partner and our 9 month old baby. Extremely spacious and clean. A very good cot bed was also provided for our baby. Doors do lock and we had no issues with break-ins which have been mentioned in other reviews, although I would say the doors could do with being upgraded. We also heard no issues from others staying on the complex regarding break-ins. The bedrooms are cleaned every other day, beds made and fresh towels, personal preference but I would prefer for this to be daily, although it didn’t affect our stay in any way. There is a safe in the bungalows, to have access to these you have to pay €10 as a deposit, keep your receipt as this will be refunded once checked out. Plenty of options for breakfast, lunch and dinner, snacks and drinks were also good. Town centre and beach is about a 15/20 minute walk from the complex. If you’re looking to dine out there are plenty of restaurants to choose from on the complex and in the town centre. Special mention to the India restaurant on the complex, beautiful food, highly recommend! My sister and her partner dined with Chaplin’s on the complex on a few occasions and said this was very good value! Plenty of sun beds to choose from, we never had an issue trying to find somewhere to sit in the sun or sit by the pool. The only thing I would mention is that the complex is quite large and has hills, so this might be an issue for people with mobility needs. All in all we all really enjoyed our stay, would definitely return! A very good 3 star complex and such a beautiful place to stay in Feurteventura.

We stayed with a friend in a private room in a rooftop room. It was very nice, clean, and we had our own terrace! It was mostly quiet. If someone cannot stand noise than dont book this room as 2-3 times a day loud music was coming from the resort nearby (only short time, it was part of thr daily animation for the guests). We were surprised at the beginning but then it became part of our life :) The staff in the hostel is very friendly and easy going, the room was good sized, comfy beds, will be missed!

SSarah-Jane EverardExcellent Service , however be aware that i purchased through trip.com the hotel did try to charge me an extra £100 euros , because the deal i paid for wasn’t the price set by the hotel, however after the Receptionist spoke to the manager , they honoured the price i paid , all in all from start to finish took about 20 mins , the Room with a sea view was absolutely stunning, i thought the room had no electric , however a quick pop to the desk explained that the key card you use to get into the room goes into a slot in the entrance way to turn it on , ( quick suggestion to the hotel maybe explain this when you give out the room cards ) Having stayed in a different hotel previously i didn’t know what to expect , i’m happy to say i will be back , its at least 2/3 minutes walk to the beach , has disabled access which is great , lifts are in the lobby to allow higher floors, they have a chill out zone thats open from 9am which has rooftop jacuzzi’s ,sauna and stunning views over the sea , it also has two pools one inside the complex and another outside, The breakfast while inconvenient at times having to go downstairs to eat, ( they do have room service however at €10 was not something i wanted to pay personally it was a nice touch though ) was plentiful to say the least they had a large variety to cater to everyone . The receptionist were brilliant even with a slight language barrier , some are multilingual in any event , my advice learn some words in Spanish helps a lot ! The Room itself was absolutely spotlessly cleaned , fresh towels and bedding changed daily by the cleaners , with little heart chocolate’s was a nice surprise one slight issue for me unless you want to be woke up at 8/9am with the drinks bar i would fully use the do not disturb sign , The hotel has a massage and therapy i used the 2 hour service and both the husband and wife are an excellent edition to the hotel , they cater to a range of injuries , we even joked that my back was as hard as wood , they worked in tandem and gave one of the best massages i have ever had and i’ve had quite a few over the years. There are quite a few places to eat , however the restaurant which is about 1 minute walk from the hotel has the most amazing staff and the food is great, the prices are reasonable to. Now i know this is an adult only hotel so i was expecting the hotel to be loud in the evenings until the early hours , and while this was at the end of June 2024 i heard little in the way of noise passed 1am. Being the night owl having the sea view and listening to the sound of the waves at 1/2/3 am in the morning is the most peaceful i have felt , thank-you Ezra Mar for the Wonderful Memories. All in all it was an Excellent stay , I Will be back thats for sure , Thanks to all the cleaners and staff at the hotel , what a pleasurable experience.

We arrived as a family of three, myself, my step dad and my mum. We each had a one bedroom bungalow. The bungalows were clean, my bungalow had a few ants in the bathroom but to be honest it didn’t bother me, I just used some water to clear them away. The bungalows have aircon but you do have to pay €6 for this, and for the safe. The cleaner came four times whilst we were there and changed the towels three times for me, although I had an extra set anyway(as a solo occupant I still had 2 sets of towels) which was great for me! The bedroom has good clothing space and lots of storage and the sitting room / living room area was spacious. The bungalows have sun beds and a table and chairs for the patio area. The only slight problems we had was the ants, the locks on the doors were a little confusing to start with. I did tell reception that my door wasn’t locking from the outside and before I could get back to my apartment the maintenance man was already there. He showed me how to use the card and lock it and he was very helpful. As mentioned in other reviews the hotel is not gated, saying this there is a fence along the bottom of the complex and along the top of the complex, just not along the road that lays between the two sides of the complex. We didn’t have a problem with theft or feeling unsafe, however as there is a public road I would suggest paying for a safe like we did. We stayed by the pool for a few hours on our last day and didn’t have a problem finding sunbeds, the pool is clean and there is a lifeguard on duty. The pool bar seemed clean and staff seemed friendly (from what we saw). We didn’t eat at the hotel but had a few beers on our last day. The hotel is around a 5/10 minute walk slightly downhill to the town and main shops. You can walk to the beach from both angels leaving the hotel, one side leads towards the town and the main path to the beach, and the other leads you down the ‘side’ road to the beach, near the chipmunks. We had a lovely holiday and would stay in the hotel again.

PPablo Altvarg JuffeThe place is good, but maybe there are better hotels for the same price. Caleta de Fuste Beach is ideal for exploring the island because it is in the center of it, with a car you have 1 hour up and another hour down from this hotel to go to the best beaches. You can also relax on the hotel's beach with a very beautiful artificial pool made by the sea.

It is worth pointing out this is two hotels conjoined. The Elba and the San Jorge. they are essentially the same in that they are a suite based set of rooms. We stayed the previous week out of Caleta with friends for a birthday and wanted to stay longer, so sorted flights back a week later and walked into the hotel asking if they had any rooms. Had to book through their website app as that is how they manage bookings but no problem at all. A Sea View Delux room consisting of a bathroom, kitchenette, lounge (with an extra bed and sofa-bed and a large bedroom with two beds (basically slightly smaller doubles each) and very comfortable. The hotel(s) have lots of sun beds out the back facing the sea and at one end a bit of music and animacian stuff, the other quiet and then in the middle of the San Jorge a large quadrangle with a pool that is super quiet (and sunny). No music at all. Not sure if allowed but I guess not. Really one of the most relaxing places we have been. The hotel is a warren really but you soon get used to it. It has two cats: a black friendly one always trying to blag food and fuss, and a mostly white one that is very aloof. We laughed when she (I think it is a she) waltzed up to us waiting for a lift, trotted in and indicated the floor she wanted with a nod as I pointed at buttons. She had a place on the first floor she liked her mornings and could not be bothered to walk I guess. Staff are great and work very hard (especially the maids). The rooms are very clean but throughout there is a slight tiredness (not uncommon given the sea air) Now food is one of those marmite things and in all places people love, hate and in between. For us, the food was very poor and amongst the worse in any buffet-style hotel we stayed in. Exactly the same at breakfast, horrible coffee and the evening dinner consisted on exactly the same formulaic salad every day, few if any fresh veg and nothing fresh and largely very overcooked and tough meats. Nearly all the fruit seemed out of tins. A real contrast to the fantastic AI food we had the previous week in a budget hotel. Now for us, it was poor (and we ate out a lot as a result), but the evening entertainment bar is a friendly place and several we spoke with loved the food saying it was very good. So not having a pop, just our experience and taste perhaps are different. Would we come again, oh hell yes. No point posting pics of the sea view as there are ample, but a lovely location, very nice staff, very relaxing place to lounge about. We just would book not to eat (maybe breakfast), but then the rooms have a small kitchen and we know many of the great restaurants in town: it is also 5 mins from my favourite sports bar ! The review summary profile (overwhelmingly Excellent, then strongly very good and below that not even amounting to 64% of 'good' ratings) tells you everything. A very good and reasonably priced place and well worth a stay.

Nice hotel near the old town, very short walk to nearest supermarkets and only 10 minutes into the music square and the sea front, also next to the bus stop which was useful. The apartment was well equipped with a good shower and very comfortable bed, everywhere was spotlessly clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Pool area was very small but there were sun beds available if we needed one. Breakfast was served on the sun terrace on the roof of block 2, good selection of cold meats, cheese, scrambled eggs and pastries, vegan milk was available but not vegan spread!, other than that breakfast was very good. Music from the roof terrace was not a problem,it wasn't very loud and was finished well before midnight. Overall it was a very good stay, would happily go again 😁

GGuest UserThe accommodation needs updating and needs TLC until they get round to it. It is very clean, staff are friendly and happy to help. where we had fridge and kettle need to have double plug, they was quick and gave me a extension lead to use both together. it a shame bar inside not opened as we had windy nights and we was sat pool bar with patio heaters on which i didnt do. Lovely that in your accommodation you are told about put your towels down around the pool, that they get removed if not being used so no blocking sunbeds. could do with some paperwork for you to keep on your visit on what time you choice for meals and also what time snacks available on the all inclusive. It a lovely touch that you get a towel for you to use at the pool i not been to hotel that gives you them.. Food is good for a 3star only thing would be a problem in higher season is only 1 toaster in dining room. I full enjoyed my stay here. I would stay here again.. YOU ALL SHOULD BE PROUD OF YOURSELF XX I know people have put about road outside but the hotel can not be held responsible for this as it down to council..
