"We enjoyed our stay up until the day of our checkout. We were running a bit late so I phoned reception to request a later checkout around 12. The receptionist informed me that they were not allowing any late checkouts. So we hurried around and managed to checkout on time. We then loaded our vehicle and sat down to have a coffee. While having a coffee we noticed many people checking out after 11am. Also I have not received my receipt yet. Would you please check into this for me. The picture is of sunset from our room. "We came early before our check-in time and got accommodated for an early check-in (without paying extra!) We just got lucky because there was an available room. Additionally, we were in awe with the hotel’s interior design alongside the conveniency of its location to tourist destinations that are a walking distance to the hotel. Nice architectural structures everywhere you go! 👍"

"The hotel is conveniently located in downtown, close to the Parliament. The reception staff were very accommodating, and while the hallway was a bit dark, it had a pleasant scent. Our room was clean, fresh-smelling, and the bathroom was modern and spotless. The property also offers great amenities like a gym and a game room. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be coming back."

The room was clean and nicer than expected from the images and the service was great! The front desk allowed me to request for a late checkout due to a last minute flight situation but he was super nice and understanding about it. Would stay again if I need an airport accommodation. The breakfast spread was decent and the carbs selection was more than expected!

I've stayed at this hotel several times now; I enjoy how clean, quiet, and nicely decorated the suites and the hotel itself are! The bathrooms are beautiful, very clean, and well-appointed, as are the rooms themselves. Very pleased and will stay here again when my travels take me through this area once more.

I expected more from Glö than I received. I chose Glö as a ”treat” for a couple's getaway, as it was a newer hotel and appeared like it would be snazzier than the usual fare. Pros: The bathroom was very nice, and the complimentary toiletries are top notch. The rooms are very clean. The mattress was very comfortable and the TV was a decent size. Cons: The rooms are incredibly small, and while they are nicely furnished, the tiny ”couch” seat was more form than function (i.e. prettier than it was comfortable). The front desk staff seemed very new and clueless on basic hospitality essentials, like how to work the in-room television. It also took ages for a response from front desk on how to work the TV and the issue wasn't even resolved. I probably will not stay here again nor would I recommend this hotel to anyone I know, as there are so many hotels to choose from in Kanata that offer better, more knowledgeable service and better pricing.

I was pleasantly pleased by front desk staff on arrival., given all information I needed and assured that if not satisfied in any way to let her know and she would make every effort to help. I stayed 4 nights while visiting family in the area. The room was exceptionally clean and spacious. The bed very comfortable, there were functions happening on the main floor during the weekend night but in the 5th floor room I stayed In all was quiet. The hotel is close to many small food choices & coffee shops in the neighborhood along with a supermarket next door. about 25 mins to airport and 25 mins to downtown Ottawa . Coffee always hot in the lobby . I will certainly stay there again.

We were again very fortunate and truly grateful to be checked in early by the kind lady working in the reception on September 26. Hotel is located within walking distance from Parliament Station and is nearby to the various attractions from the hotel. Highly recommended to stay for ease of exploring the various Ottawa attractions.
