The hotel is a bit far from Chaozhou Old City, but the facilities are quite new. There were a lot of tour groups staying there, and the parking lot in the back was very convenient. The service was also great, and the room was large and clean. However, the central air conditioning's airflow couldn't be adjusted and blew directly onto the bed. It would be nice if the smart lighting buttons could dim a bit more at night. Overall, I was quite satisfied with my stay.

Just a few steps outside and you're on a street bustling with delicious food – so handy! The butler service was also spot on, and the kids all said they'd love to come back again – even though we're only about an hour's drive from Chaozhou.

MM332225****This guesthouse is a peaceful haven tucked away in a bustling area, featuring modern decor that still retains a classic, antique charm. Both the service and facilities are truly excellent. From the moment I booked, I had a dedicated concierge service. Even before arriving, I received detailed guides on local cuisine, attractions, parking, and the room layout. My child was happy, and I felt completely at ease. If I ever visit Chaozhou Ancient City again, I would definitely choose Mingningfu.

MM36731****The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, right by West Lake. The lake views during the day are beautiful and the air is fresh. Choosing this hotel was definitely the right decision. The interior decor of the hotel is very unique, and the lobby offers four different kinds of floral tea. The old medicinal kumquat tea is both refreshing and delicious. It's also not far to walk to the old city from here, about a 10-20 minute stroll. The hotel service is excellent too. If I get the chance to visit Chaozhou again, I'll definitely stay here...

LLee Siang ChengWe were tossing between selecting Fortune Hotel and another one closer to the centre of city . We were glad that we made the right choice in Fortune hotel for our two days holidays in ChaoZhou .
The hotel was very modern and new . The place was spotless clean and lobby reception was staffed by two very courteous young ladies . Our check in was swift and we were upgraded to a room on the sixth floor.
The bedroom was spacious and clean . There were coffee and Chinese tea making facilities. In the mini fridge, we were told the three cans of soft drinks were complimentary. The toilet was very hi tech stuff with automated water splashes and the seat was heated . Now you do not find these kind of toilet facilities in China .
Breakfast has a great variety and selection of food , ranging from soup noodle with meat balls , fried vermicelli , vegetables, fried shrimps, fried chicken nuggets , century egg lean pork porridge , fresh fruits etc. With this selection of foods for breakfast, you would not be in an hurry to have lunch .
The hotel is a bit away from the pedestrian mall in PaiFang Jie , ChaoZhou old town , about 15 minutes drive costing 11 RMB . But the cleanliness of the room and large variety of food for buffet breakfast compensate for the slight inconvenience of location.
If you are coming in to ChaoShan HSR station , please take the public bus with number K2 for 9 RMB and the trip would take you to the entrance ( South Gate) of PaiFang Jie instead of paying 58 RMB for a DiDi ride . After you have walked the pedestrian mall and seen the GuangJi bridge , then you take a private car ride to the Fortune hotel for 11 RMB .
We would not hesitate to recommend to Trip members to stay at Fortune hotel and the decision is based on its spacious room cleanliness, delicious breakfast and friendly courteous lobby staff .

There are many delicious foods around the hotel, and it is very convenient to go to the ancient city. It is worth recommending. The front desk service is also very thoughtful, polite and attentive. It would be more perfect if the curtain head could be slightly processed to block the light. The breakfast is also good.

GGuest UserI had a wonderful stay at the Crowne Plaza Chao Zhou Riverside because of its strategic location for Guang Ji Qiao lighting show from my window. The staff were friendly and attentive, namely Miss Jenny Zhang, who served us promptly at the counter. Another guy, Mr Tom Fang, took hiring and calling for the 'Didi travel' to and fro for our dinner. Moreover, Mr Jason Chen,who is the 值班经理 also acted friendly, deligent, helpful, and professional in his services for our stay and tour. In fact, we appreciated it very much for such a warmth hospitality. Besides, the room was clean and conducive, and the facilities were excellent. We especially enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere here. Thank you for making our stay pleasant and memorable. We look forward to returning soon and introduce to friends and relatives as well.

At first, when we found that the room was next to the Wi-Fi, they communicated with us patiently and changed our room. My friend was very satisfied with this stay. The mattress was very comfortable and the breakfast rice noodles were delicious. The only regret was that the sisters were a little obsessed with beauty and didn't find a full-length mirror.

It is also convenient to go shopping in the ancient city after 10 pm when there are fewer tourists. The room environment is warmly decorated, clean and comfortable. It is located in a small alley next to Guangji Gate. It is quiet in the bustle. It is good to have a good rest at night without being noisy. The customer service Xiao Xu was enthusiastic and considerate. He asked about travel methods in advance and gave route suggestions. It was a very satisfying stay experience.

Cleanliness: Very good, didn't see any particularly dirty spots. Everything was clean.
Environment: The hotel's indoor environment is quite good. There's a lounge on the second floor where you can relax and chat 💬.
The area around the hotel outside consists of residential buildings, but cross the road and you're right on the pedestrian street! Fantastic.
Rooms have smart devices, USB charging ports, and smart toilets. The room was very clean and tidy, and the shower water pressure was great.
🌟Also, I initially booked a 'Special Offer Elegant King Room'! But before checking in, I asked to see the room first. Turns out this room type was on the 1st floor! The environment was extremely poor and utterly disappointing. The soundproofing was terrible; conversations from the neighboring room were clearly audible, severely affecting my sleep quality. The so-called 'window' actually faced an internal corridor, offering no privacy whatsoever. The surrounding rooms were tightly packed, making the layout feel like a subdivided apartment, cramped and oppressive, far from the comfort standards a hotel should offer.
Later, I went to see another room, a 'Selected King Room', and the environment was vastly different! This room was clearly a normal room with solid walls! The front desk said I could get a room change for a good review or by paying extra. I questioned why the difference in room types for the 'Special Offer Elegant King Room' wasn't clearly stated on Ctrip, as the pictures didn't show it at all!
Fortunately, the second room met my hygiene and environmental requirements, so I left this good review to get the room change!
