Didn’t like when I first checked in, haven’t touched my bed or anything but when I went out after checking in, there’s someone came in the room and “made the bed”, they put the pillows on the floor and touched the blanket. Which was scary at first as I’m not used to such service. The lady receptionists weren’t friendly at all, when I checked in and checked out, they just stood at the reception and talked to each other instead of welcoming guests. Especially when checking out, the attitude of them was bad.

Facilities: The decoration is too old, it was from 2008. At this price, I prefer to go to the current smart hotel. Hygiene: Of course the hygiene of a five-star hotel is acceptable. There is nothing to say about this. Environment: The environment is acceptable, with small bridges, flowing water and rockery Service: It was after one o'clock in the morning when we arrived. As a five-star hotel, doesn't the concierge provide 24-hour service? I have stayed in so many high-star hotels. When I entered, there was no concierge and the taxi driver brought me suitcases (one large and one small dragging 24-inch suitcases). I found the front desk by myself. The person who received me should be the lobby manager after reporting it. After checking in, he sent us all the way to the room and was kind enough to upgrade to a family suite. Next time I go to Beijing, I probably won't stay here again.

Excellent English speaking staff adds a lot of value to a 5 star hotel in China. The Concierge Manager Jason Zhang and his team Mr Young Yang, The Guest Managers, Mr Terry Mr Koh, front liners, Rebecca, Evelyn and of course the 2 bell boys too. Mr Jason who is English speaking has gone the extra mile to help give us invaluable advice for our private local tours. Thus, Legendale Hotel Beijing is one of the best 5 star hotel that we have stayed in China.

This hotel was amazing. We were on our honeymoon and had 3 days in Beijing. Our room was beautiful and on the 22nd floor with a amazing view of the city. The round bath tub in the room was amazing. The bed was super comfy and huge. The room was set up with balloons on our arrival and a delicious cake bought to our room in the evening. All the staff were very helpful and always tried their best efforts. I would recommend opting in for their breakfast when booking, it is really really good. Lots of different cuisine options, yes for breakfast!! Jenson in the concierge was super helpful with great English and guided us to maximise our 3night stay in Beijing. Big thank you to him (I think his name could be spelt different).

Surprisingly, this very affordable hotel can complete my trip. With very affordable price, this hotel has such a high price to value ratio. Its location is golden, right in the center of cbd. It has a very complet gym and big indoor swimminh pool. Another plus of this hotel is its club rooms. They are located in higher floor so that they will have greater view compare to the other. The club rooms also allow me to check out at 4 PM (as long as condition permitted) I can not give it 5 score because many of its employees can not speak chinese. Only a few in front office can speal basic english. This hotel really need to step up its game since i saw many international visitors during my stay. This hotel also need to educate its laundry man. He need to know the politeness standard when he want to access international visitor room. I know he means well but the way he behave make me feel uncomfortable becaise i feel he is very weird.

Jen hotel is a perfect example of affordable stars hotel. It has a very complete facilities that every 5 stars hotel must have. The location is the winning point which is right in the center of Beijing CBD. It is integrated with china world mall and guomao subway station. It also homes of the internet celebrity's gym, Trainyard. In-house guests can enjoy it for free. My room is a club room so that it comes with dinner package. I dont think i can find any other hotel in cbd beijing (in the same level) which have such a high price to value ratio. Their staffs are also its plus sides. They are energetic and attentive. Special thanks to cleaning service lady who clean up my room on friday and sunday night. I definitely will stay here again if i go to beijing.

The location of the hotel is so closed to the MRT stat - 崇文门，the entrance/exit is just right in-front of the hotel! As it was off-peak season when we visited Beijing, we were upgraded to a Deluxe Suite, which mean there is a separate bedroom with a single bed, on top of a master room with a double bed. We really appreciate the kind act. While I was still at other part of China, I thought of ordering something online and use this hotel as the receiving end, I thought of just checking it out, and to my pleasant surprise, the hotel does provide such service and the staff helpfully guided me on how to do so. After I checked into the hotel and gotten the item I ordered, a few days later, but sadly the item didn't suit me, the hotel again provides the service of allowing the courier staff to go to the counter to collect back the return item. I was amazed by the extreme friendliness and helpfulness of the staff there. All in all, we really enjoyed the service extended to us! It is no doubt hotel staff in China places their guests at top priority, making them feel at home at all times.

Stay away! The saving grace came from Trip.com which enabled me to terminate our booking without penalty. Awful garbage smell in the room. We checked in at 1am due to late flight arrival. Upon entering the room we we’re concerned about a strange smell in the room. We thought it would go away so we just opened the window. It was late we decided we would ignore the smell but by 6.30 am we couldn’t ignore the foul smell anymore. So we wrote to trip.com to terminate our booking. By 9am we’re ready to check out. At the checkout counter the staff was gracious and friendly and she said our booking was terminated at our request. Just too many faults with this hotel room. Chair needs to be replaced. It easily toppled backwards. Toilet door can’t completely closed. Not sufficient electrical outlets to plug your devices. Curtains are dirty. No hooks in toilet. Only positive staff was friendly.

Location is EXCELLENT! It's just across the subway. And there are plenty of shopping malls and flagship stores for many international brands around. Super convenient with restaurants that serve super delicious local meals just next to the hotel. Staff is super attentive even in the middle of the night. Room bed and blankets are comfortable. Enough supply of bottles of water everyday. Free flow is Chinese tea and coffee at the lobby is definitely a big plus!! The only down side is the cigarette smoke at the corridor of the rooms.

This was our second stay at NUO, to celebrate our anniversary, and it was even sweeter than the first! As soon as you step into NUO’s beautiful lobby, the outside world seems to melt away, and you’re surrounded by a tranquil, elegant, and calming environment. The rooms are clean and luxurious, the beds super comfortable, and the lavish bathtub with a city view is also a highlight! Breakfast at NUO is an entire experience of its own! The breakfast buffet is vast and full of several varieties of cuisines. Every bite of food is prepared with excellence and care, and the staff are all very attentive and helpful. The keystone part of this stay is the amazing hospitality from Frank. Frank took wonderful care of us again, with cookies, fruits, and a personal note waiting for us in the room. He communicated with me via WeChat prior to our stay, to ensure everything would be perfect. While there are many lovely hotels in Beijing, none of them have someone like Frank who will make you feel so welcomed and at home in such a massive and beautiful space. I have to admit this hotel was the coziest and cleanest hotel I have ever been. The staff was friendly and helpful. The two girls were so sweet, they tried to help us and give us advice. The room was neat, they clean it daily. The hotel is near Universal Studio in Beijing and they offer us a bus to go there for free. Also, they do your laundry for free. In addition, if you want to buy the harry potter costumes at Universal, they were extremely expensive, in that case, the hotel sells harry potter's clothes cheaply.

We booked 5 nights stay. Location near the metro station, nearby have plenty of food stores. Walk to wangfujing 15-20mins. Hotel provides free laundry self-service. The staff are generally friendly and helpful. Special thanks to the receptionist, named Kevin. He helped us to arrange for all my families (3rooms) to stay on the same floor and upgrade one room. The only down point for this hotel is that many rooms have a heavy smoking smell. And guests smoking in the room, which polluted the whole corridor.

1. Location is fantastic. Within walking distance to the shopping street and the forbidden city. The subway station is just below the shopping mall next door. If you want shopping, food and site-see, this location is the most convenient! 2. The front desk and the concierge are the 2 services that we troubled regularly during our stay of 6 nights. All Chinese site-seeing locations must be pre-booked and the applications are only Chinese-nationals friendly. Without a Chinese ID or a Chinese mobile number, it was impossible to help yourselves, even though we had Wechat and Alipay pre-installed and tested before we left Singapore. 3. Front desk team, Leon was the one who checked us in. He struggled to find us rooms on the same floor due to the peak season (23-29 Dec). We were given rooms on separate floor but he gave us lift access to both floors and apologized profusely for the wait and gave us vouchers for drinks at the cafe, which we did not use. 4. Concierge team led by Elvis with Alan and Wendy helping, was a fantastic team. Elvis had to use his mobile to help us book Great-Wall tickets, which we paid him through WeChat. During which, someone wanted his help, but he politely tell the guy to wait since he has started helping us first. Polite and put his point across without creating a scene. 5. Alan from the concierge team was the one that got us a table at their Christmas eve dinner. They first offered us a 4-seater table squeezing in 6, to be shared with another 2. We turned down the offer and was prepared to end up eating street food or order room service. But on the day itself, he saw us coming back and offered us another table, because they decided to add in more tables, which we took. It was a fantastic buffet dinner with free flow of alcohol and drinks. The highlight was the cutting of a huge blue-fin tuna. The price for the dinner per pax (don't remember how much now) was a fraction of what have to pay in Singapore. The amount of alcohol and tuna sashimi that we had was enough to recoup the dinner price ! 6. Another observation (now that we have been to Harbin Shangrila after Beijing, we have a comparison) : at the breakfast restaurant, the reception could recognize us on the 2nd day, and remembered our room numbers and that we are family of 4! The training of service staff paying such attention to details can only mean that they believe in service to the core. 7. If you are going to Beijing, consider no where else but Hilton at Wangfujing. I know I will be there again !

Absolutely amazing time here and so much of it was thanks to the most amazing person ever - Paolo. Before I even checked in the bell hop helped me with the luggage and check in was so smooth. Everyone was so welcoming and warm that I immediately felt happy and bubbly. The room was so thoughtfully prepared to welcome me on my birthday and to make me feel special. There was even a small cake, a fruit platter, and a personalized card. I was absolutely blown away by the level of personalized care and attention to detail. We had some tea at the executive lounge and again were welcomed and had great service. Paolo arranged for some more personalized touches for my birthday party in the lounge including Barbie themed photos on the appetizers and bite sized snacks. He was able to help us with the theme of the birthday party ~ Barbie by designing four different pink cocktails including a gin tonic style drink and a bubbly prosecco based one. We also had the breakfast buffet which had a great selection of food and was separated from the dining tables which was appreciated to better enjoy the food. I really liked the noodle and soup station in the morning especially as it was raining. The butterfly brunch was lovely and very fulfilling. I have nothing but an endless number of positive things to say about my sumptuous room with mesmerizing views and tremendous service. I love staycations and I have to say that this one takes the cake. Thank you all!

Everything in regards to our stay at the Grand Hyatt was 6* except for the WiFi which wasn't of international standards. Location was spot on a central network linked to the mall with major big brands Which is linked to the 1st class train system. It's also 30mins walk to the Forbidden city. And the gym 🏋️♀️ and Pool and Spa was simply immaculate and luxurious first class with a heated pool oasis. Wished I could have spent more time enjoying the facilities. And what complimented well to the global luxurious brand was it's staff members! I have to call out the exceptional 2 departments Conceige and Housekeeping which was truly above and beyond!!! Daniel -assisted with restaurant bookings and forbidden City tickets reservations. And when he was off duty he still wechat me to suggest how to maximise the use of our tickets and best way to maximise time to visit Tianamen Square too and tips too on best way all this while he was off duty! Such dedication!!! Another staff whom I like to recognise is Cecila also from Conceige. When asked for directions on day 1, she didn't just verbalise, she left her station and ushered us all the way outside and showed us the right way around to our breakfast destination. On day 2, which is also check out day, she realised its J birthday and made arrangments for not 1 but 2 bakes so that our dearest friends could enjoy together too. She also kept in touch on wechat to organise all our logistical arrangments several times. Each time with a 😃 smile. Outstanding! Housekeeping lady for rooms 1221 and 1220 was simple though and detailed and went above and beyond too. So much personal touch to all that she did which most would never bother! Good job!! And best of all, she didn't expect anything in return. Absolutely admirable! Unsung hero! Check in staff Allan was pleasant and swift with our late check in and made our final day breakfast logistics seamless. Thank you and thanks for responding efficiently on wechat too. Con- WiFi sucks badly.....surprised that a 5* global brand couldn't keep u to. Chengdu 4* service Residence. So frustrating for global travellers like ourselves. Hope the next time we stay here sky guo would have fixed this feedback! Alongside with ensuring that luke warm pre made coffee will not be served. Absolutely charming sales director

The first hotel I stayed in when I came to Beijing was on Qianmen Street. There was a security checkpoint downstairs. We chose Mandarin Oriental Wangfujing for our last night in Beijing. As soon as we entered the hotel, we felt the warm reception of the staff. They accompanied us to the room, introduced us to the hotel's facilities and gave us some gifts, which made me feel In the strong Spring Festival atmosphere, we tasted fruits and desserts and then went to the restaurant to enjoy the set meal provided by the hotel. 1. Location is fantastic. Within walking distance to the shopping street and the forbidden city. The subway station is just below the shopping mall next door. If you want shopping, food and site-see, this location is the most convenient! 2. The front desk and the concierge are the 2 services that we troubled regularly during our stay of 6 nights. All Chinese site-seeing locations must be pre-booked and the applications are only Chinese-nationals friendly. Without a Chinese ID or a Chinese mobile number, it was impossible to help yourselves, even though we had Wechat and Alipay pre-installed and tested before we left Singapore. 3. Front desk team, Leon was the one who checked us in. He struggled to find us rooms on the same floor due to the peak season (23-29 Dec). We were given rooms on separate floor but he gave us lift access to both floors and apologized profusely for the wait and gave us vouchers for drinks at the cafe, which we did not use. 4. Concierge team led by Elvis with Alan and Wendy helping, was a fantastic team. Elvis had to use his mobile to help us book Great-Wall tickets, which we paid him through WeChat. During which, someone wanted his help, but he politely tell the guy to wait since he has started helping us first. Polite and put his point across without creating a scene. 5. Alan from the concierge team was the one that got us a table at their Christmas eve dinner. They first offered us a 4-seater table squeezing in 6, to be shared with another 2. We turned down the offer and was prepared to end up eating street food or order room service. But on the day itself, he saw us coming back and offered us another table, because they decided to add in more tables, which we took. It was a fantastic buffet dinner with free flow of alcohol and drinks. The highlight was the cutting of a huge blue-fin tuna. The price for the dinner per pax (don't remember how much now) was a fraction of what have to pay in Singapore. The amount of alcohol and tuna sashimi that we had was enough to recoup the dinner price ! 6. Another observation (now that we have been to Harbin Shangrila after Beijing, we have a comparison) : at the breakfast restaurant, the reception could recognize us on the 2nd day, and remembered our room numbers and that we are family of 4! The training of service staff paying such attention to details can only mean that they believe in service to the core. 7. If you are going to Beijing, consider no where else but Hilton at Wangfujing. I know I will be there again !

The room is decent size for the price and it is well distributed. The closet is just a hanger for like 4 or 5 garments so beware. Bathroom unfortunately was a bit smelly. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom/shower stalls need to be cleaned THOROUGHLY of grim/stains and MOULDS! Which are not only unsightly but pose a danger to health! This is for ALL rooms! Water from shower stalls do not drain well due to poor construction gradient of shower floor. Check in smooth and although booked a room on 2/3rd floors, was given one on 4th floor accessible through an external door on 3rd fl through 2 flights of stairs and to the outside, certainly unsuitable for any older persons! Was subsequently given one on 3rd for subsequent nights. Poor room layouts, no storage space/hooks for clothes, no fridge and dismal lighting. Architect/designer has much to learn about room layouts etc before embarking on further hotel designs! Breakfast was ample/adequate but could have some different varieties each day for those who stay longer. This could have been an innovative arty hotel which the Owner has in mind but for the above. Saving grace was the front desk staff who were most helpful and special mention should be made of Helen, Owen, Jake and Vivian.

The breakfast is rich, including Chaos noodles pancakes and buffet. The most important thing is that it is very clean. There are armed police and special police on duty 24 hours at the door, and thieves have to go around. Walking around, the facilities are average, and the TV has snowflakes, but these are not important. When I come to Beijing, I just walk around during the day and sleep at night. I will stay here again next time I come to Beijing.

The last thing I would like to complain is efficiency. My booking didn't include meal.Sometimes I ordered food delivery myself. The delivery didn't pass to me after it had been arrived 20 mins. I called to frontdesk. They just said they were busy at that moment. Would give it to me later. About 15 mins waiting, I decided to take the delivery myself. They put it on a easy take way, and didn't check wtih my room number or my identity.That means others can take my delivery easily.These happened three times. Because of this bad experience, I cannot trust Manxin anymore.
