Breakfast was good. Quaint town.

There is basically no accommodation in Obertraun, and there are also very few accommodations in Hallstatt. The prices are extremely high when there are some. It is cost-effective to stay here, and there are various buses to other places.

There is 1 service person who works quickly and is agile. Small room but functional There is no air conditioning, but it's not hot. Good atmosphere, near the mountain, near the train station.

I was going to sleep after leaving Hallstatt. Good choice, accommodation is satisfactory But there really isn't anything around. That common supermarket... It is recommended to buy food in advance and bring it in. The soundproofing was a bit disappointing. I can hear everything in the next room ********* Is it actually better...

We stayed here when we traveled to Hallstatt. Cheaper when compared to any place in Hallstatt but service is great. Our room was clear and we didn't have any issues. The breakfast was also great, the variety of the options were more than I expected. It was very easy to reach with public transport.

Incredible view with detail oriented service. All the staff were friendly and made you feel at home , specially Sonja at the restaurant and the lovely receptionist who helped with our every question. The hotels included sauna is great spot for the afternoon after a great sports day

On February 9th, 2023 we watched a lecture in the local hall of the Vieh-Heli, which was organized by a Goiserer association. As trained or practicing restaurateurs, we were appalled by the verbal and mostly off-topic and exclusively negative gaffes towards the speaker invited by the association, which were brought in or rather brought out by the room landlords, i.e. the innkeepers. If, as a restaurateur, you make a hall available for an event and the organizer teaches around 100 guests to be entertained and able to pay, in our opinion, if you as a restaurateur are against the content of the event, you should either hold your M... or just hold the event not accept. Greed is a dog – or perhaps better for the schnitzel maker – a pig. The question to the boss of Vieh-Heli is: If you make your hall available to an organizer for a music event with jazz music, you have the hospitality, but you don't like the jazz music, do you then turn full pot of techno music or the Goiserer 4 song over the speakers? Perhaps you should be forgiven for the gaffes, since your barker might have been out-of-order due to the rather excessive and obvious consumption of alcohol during the event? In any case, you won't see us again in your "nobel location" and we hope that the club will soon have its own club building so that it no longer has to organize its future events in the Gosse von Au. Since we already confronted you with this matter at the end of the event and you did not express any insight, it is important to us to leave this honest evaluation on the net, just as you ask for it on your place cards. It really shouldn't come as a surprise that gastronomy in the Salzkammergut is falling into disrepute with such innkeepers!
