The hotel is situated in the crossroads in the middle of petaling street, next to Kim lian Kee, the soya water side. Surrounded by eating spots and well known street food. The outer appearance of the hotel is very run down. But the rooms are clean and ok. Tv is old but it works. It has hot shower, working bathroom. Overall is ok. The front desk is not 24hr.

Abit disappointed. The elevator doesn't work, you have to climb the stairs. The restaurant in the hotel is out of service. The hotel's internet signal is very poor. Fortunately, the reception staff and the boss Ms. Loh were very responsible in arranging other rooms for me.

Although this hostel has comfortable beds with good curtains, it is highly unhygienic and we would not stay here again. It may be very cheap but that doesn't excuse the lack of basic cleanliness. There are 5 rooms per floor with on average 6 people per room. Which could imply that there are 30 people using the same communal bathroom per floor. We noticed that the bathroom had not been cleaned in two days and was found to be in revolting state with rubbish on the floor and nail clippings and hair from people shaving left in the sink for days. There were strange substances on the shower floor and I felt it necessary to shower with my flip-flops on. There was no toilet paper in the toilet and human excrement spread up the back of the toilet and left there. Furthermore there is no soap in the bathroom to wash your hands after using the toilet. We can only assume that the staff are also not washing their hands before handling food at breakfast. The staff provide you with shampoo and body wash when you arrive and tell you that you can return it for a refill. However, when asked for soap they said they didn't have any. On the first night when we got back to the hostel, we noticed that the bathroom hadn't been cleaned. We asked for it to be cleaned and nothing was done. The following morning after noticing that it was still filthy, we asked again and they told us they would have someone look at it. By lunchtime it had reached an appauling state as it still had not been cleaned. I had to request to speak to a manager who told me to wait for five minutes. I am outraged at the blatant lack of care that the staff show people. After speaking to the manager, the toilets and sinks were cleaned but the showers were not until we asked again. At this stage they swept the floor with a brush and that was all. The room is smelly as it has no access to fresh air. The breakfast is basic with bread available to toast served on paper plates and tea or coffee in paper cups. The disregard for the current climate crisis is unacceptable, it is such a waste. All due to the laziness of the staff here. Furthermore when packing away breakfast, they do not wash the knives that everyone in the hostel has used, they wipe it with toilet roll and use it again the next day. We asked if we could wash our refillable water bottle and they told us that there was no sink and to wash it in the bathroom. This is highly concerning as we fear there is no way for them to wash the knives and bread container that the breakfast is served in. The girl behind the desk has an incredibly unnecessary poor attitude. We watched a gentleman arrive to breakfast at 10.01 and ask for more bread to toast. She stood up to get him some, realised the time and told him smuggly 'it's past 10'. She seemed to get great enjoyment out of starting to pack breakfast away immediately in front of him. Finally we were disappointed on arrival to discover that there is in fact no pool table at this hostel as is adve

It's in Chinatown. But there's only India. The room is dark, stuffy, and has only one power plug. The area next to the hotel is an abandoned building, very dirty. Smelly poop, smelly pee The government should step in and improve It's a shame about the space.

Location: Very good, close to Petaling Street, there are many things to eat nearby, and there are several must-check-in places nearby~ Navigate past, you will see the entrance of Lin Kee Coffee, and the front desk is also inside the coffee, it is recommended to have guidance It would be better, because when I saw the coffee shop at first, I didn’t know if it was a place to check in Service: Very good, because our English is not very good, but they will be very patient and tell you a few more times, speak slowly, so that we can understand Check-in: There is a deposit, the deposit is in cash, and we will be given an access card. The access card is convenient for us to go out, because the coffee shop is closed at night, and the access card is needed to go out Room: At first we thought the outdoor bathroom was not very good, but when we went to the site, we felt nothing, because the location is very wide, and it will not be very hot. There is also a door curtain that can be pulled down. It should be waterproof, no It will feel very damp. There are two small problems. Sometimes the shower switch is not very sensitive, and it cannot be removed. We think it is not very convenient. In addition, the trash can made of the spittoon in the room is too small, we just pick up the bag and use it directly~ Based on the above, I highly recommend everyone to come here, the price is not expensive, the room is spacious, the location is good, and the service is good~

I booked this one in a rush, and didn't pay careful enough attention. The hotel is above some shops, and has an austere Soviet feel about the place. We got our rooms, which were next to each other. Before we opened the door, I could tell by the layout of the hotel that they wouldn't have windows. Sure enough they did not. They also smelled a bit. My daughter felt they smelled of damp, I felt they smelled of camphor (to kill bugs and insects), either way they were dark, dingy, unpleasant places. Not the sort of place you'd want to stay. I went back to reception, and after some negotiation, and a little extra money, we got moved to front rooms. Different floors, but one above the other. Gosh, what a difference. We looked out our windows and had Chinatown spread out in front of us - Jalan Hang Lekir leading to the crossing with Petaling Street. Around 100 yards along Jalan Sultan there is Modern Madness brewpub (which doesn't actually brew beer, but adds flavouring to beers they buy from the Napex brewery (Legend beers). We loved it here because of the location, and ending up with rooms with a view. If we had the rooms without no windows, we would have hated the place.

This is a practical ”budget” Malaysian Chinese hotel with no frills (only the essentials) located on the main nerve in Chinatown... Jalan Sultan. But don't let the online price fool you. The hotel management has standards. There is a friendly guy from Burma making sugar cane juice (air tebu) right in front of the hotel. I've been his customer for 2 years. Up/down the street and in the alleys are local style kopi shops, char siew + siew yoke stalls, wan tan mee production, Ray's Power Corner, plenty of vendors selling almost everything imaginable and places to eat. One place you must try EVERYDAY!! is Coco's Mee Tarik Jalan Sultan at the end of the road (Chinese Halal). One thing I get at Hotel Nan Yeang that I do not get at other hotels for the same price: a spacious balcony with a spectacular view of Warison Merdeka 118. So the room doesn't feel like a box. I walk out onto the balcony and see the newly built skyscraper upfront, close and personal. I don't know if this is a building or a rocket or a spaceship with lasers. That is how many features this structure has!! The two managers on staff are too lovely women, Ms. Chong❤️ and Ms. Eng❤️ who oversee the operations of the hotel. They make sure that the air conditioning units in the rooms are cleaned regularly. And they keep up with painting the rooms and corridors. Speaking of housekeeping... it is good enough... nice women from Indonesia... but they could do a more thorough job. A deeper clean. I've been here long enough to see the types of customers that check-in and how dirty they leave the rooms. I've never seen anything like it in the civilized world. A developing country is still considered civilized. Lastly, the front desk staff is very warm and friendly (and they put up with me which is a bonus) What more could you ask for?? ⭐️⭐️⭐️THE BEST BUDGET 2 STAR HOTEL THAT I HAVE FOUND TO DATE. I'VE BEEN VERY HAPPY HERE FOR 5 MONTHS ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very old hotel. Maybe it’s 5-star when it opens but definitely not 5-star for now. When I arrived, the two lifts to my floor didn’t work (one out of service, one temporarily closed), staff responded quickly to bring me to another “hidden lift”. Worst thing happened was a hotel staff opened the room door after me checking in. Seems the front desk wrote my room number wrongly to another customers so their access card didn’t work and the hotel staff helped them to open the room door. The staff left quickly after knowing someone is already inside the room but without apologising. Last but not least, although it’s close to the KL tower, the location is not really convenient (not bad, but not good either). It’s the cheapest 5-star hotel in KL for a reason. But if you want to save money, it’s still acceptable. Some 4-star hotels may have better facilities and services though.

Buffet Breakfast was excellent. Hotel Location superb. But cleanliness ZERO .I have added pics of the room you can check very tiny mirror for Makeup plus broken furniture with ugly marks of broken woods at every furniture in the room and Fridge was Rotten and Mouldy looks like they cleaned it before Covid-19 . The swimming pool is very good as well .

We loved our stay in Dorsett Hotel. Their location is super good because it’s walking distance from Pavillion and Jalon Alor night market and to the Twin Towers as well. I love that they also have water dispenser in the lobby. In the reception area, people are so warm and friendly and he asked me if I have any complaints or feedbacks and I mentioned that only the toilet which didn’t have any glass that’s why the water on the floor, we have to wipe often. Other than that, the unit itself and the breakfast buffet are super excellent.I will definitely come back into this hotel and will recommend to my friends.

It was my 2nd time staying here and it was as pleasant as usual. The check in was very smooth and it took us 10 mins (probably bc we checked in during non peak hour). However, something could be done with the access card as it took us many tries to scan the card and press our room level. The waiting time for the lift was long. Initially the infinity pool has the KLCC view but this time, it was blocked by the other hotel which i believe is the sister company of the Face Suite. Overall a pleasant stay!

We had a wonderful stay staying at club deluxe king. Our room is spacious equipped with most amenities needed, clean, has bathtub and we can see the twin tower from our room😍. The staff at reception also friendly. They helps me to get the room with twin tower view which is at first she said all room with twin tower view already filled with other guest. We also get the access to club lounge which we had our breakfast with nice ambience and quiet. The location of this hotel is superb as it has connecting bridge to klcc & bukit bintang for the hotel guest. You can basically walk to aquaria, klcc, klcc park, suria klcc & pavilion. Cons: the fridge & hair dryer not working. The room is not really sound treated, we can hear clearly people talking at the hallway. The aircond is super cold even with the max temperature & low fan. We sleep with aircond off and the room still cold (maybe because of rain during the night). Overall we are happy & will repeat our visit again!

Oasia Suites is a great budget option for a central hotel in KL. Its fitout is a little dated compared to some of the more modern hotels, but it’s still perfectly fine. And for the amount you can save compared to other places it’s a great value option if you’re ok with “the look” not being on-point. We had a suite for less than half the price of a room in other nearby hotels. Our suite was clean on arrival and was serviced every day. Including clean sheet and towels.

📍Address: Hotel Stripes Kuala Lumpur 🚗 Accessibility to transportation: 45-1 hour taxi from airport or 8 minute walk from Dang Wangi MRT. 🏃🏼♀️ Activities in the area: Kuala Lumpur tower, Petronas towers Kuala Lumpur. 🌟 Rating: 9/10 💞Reasons to Recommend: Great breakfast options and times. Tours organised with the hotel were available. The hotel will meet requests such as your anniversary. The rooms are clean and spacious. 💡 Think about: The hotel is a bit far from the center, 20 minute walk from the Petronas Towers. The reception staff seem unorganised at the time we arrived. There were some translation misunderstandings between some guests and the staff that we personally experienced as well as other customers we saw.

This is an excellent hotel located well in the CBD centre while it offers an extraordinary comfortable hospitality. The room offers 2-sided wide angle view with special setup by locating the bed at the centre of the room, which I love such arrangement much. The bathroom is with so much room. The swimming pool and fitness rooms are all above my expectation. It’s a very pleasant stay.
