We feel welcome upon check in. The room is very clean and very spacious. The reception staff help attend to all our queries promptly and assist us with our transport arrangement. Also help us with our luggages to and fro our room and to our car. Bed is comfortable, aircon is cold and hot shower is good. Room has WiFi and TV. Hot water for coffee and tea are located in the kitchen area . Free water from the water dispenser in the kitchen There is central ironing available outside the rooms for sharing. Washroom is very spacious, modern and well maintained with wet and dry area. Toilet roll, towels, Shower gel, hand soap and shampoo are provided. Breakfast is simple buffet with cereals with milk, toast with butter and jam, fruits, omelette with chicken sausage, coffee, tea and juice. The location is next to the main road at the outskirts of the city but is near many shops and a small train station. Overall very comfortable nice rest and breakfast with great staff. Great hospitality

⭐ Airport Heritage Hotel – Transit Stay Review I stayed at Airport Heritage Hotel for a short transit in Sri Lanka, and overall it was a good experience. The hotel is located very close to Bandaranaike International Airport, which makes it extremely convenient for travelers with early morning or late-night flights. The room was clean and comfortable. It’s not a luxury hotel, but for a transit stay it was more than sufficient. The bed was comfortable, and the room had all the basic amenities needed for a short rest. The staff were polite, friendly, and helpful, especially during check-in and check-out. The environment was quiet, which helped me get proper rest between flights. Overall, this hotel is a good value for money and a practical choice for anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free transit stay near the airport. I would recommend it for short stays.

The attendants were very nice and helpful. The main entrance to the hostel was a bit tricky to find from the ground floor of the building but absolutely walkable to and from Colombo Fort Railway station. It is also close enough to some restaurants and convenience stores. It is clean enough but the room where I stayed had no window curtains. However, each bed has its own power outlets and the bathrooms are inside the dormitories. They also provide clean bath towels for free. For the free breakfast, we were served with some toasts, butter, jam, juice, a banana and a slice of watermelon. This hostel is perfect for people on a budget who have the most basic needs.

The owner was incredibly kind to me. It was my first day in Sri Lanka, and they patiently helped me plan my trip, showed me where to catch the bus, and recommended some great spots. What's more, when I had to leave the hotel to go somewhere far away, they even let me store my luggage in their locker! They were truly a wonderfully generous person. Thank you very much! 🙇

The place is located in nice place. You can see the sea when you across the road, there is a lot of coffee shop, restaurants and shopping mall also. They have Saturday Good Market near there when you go the market, you can see the university of Colombo and there has good place to walk also. The breakfast is not too many options but you can ask for fried egg and sausage also. As long as, this is only 2 stars hotel but the location, hospitality and service of staffs are more than 5 stars.

Остановились в этом месте для небольшой передышки после долгой дороги на Шри-Ланку , день отоспались и осмотрелись в округе . Хозяин всячески нам помог выбрать , где взять в аренду машину,  порекомендовал место где можно вкусно поужинать . Очень учтивый доброжелательный , отзывчивый

The staff person who checked me in was very kind and helpful. The property is older and in need of a revamp and thorough cleaning. I scrubbed the tub with bleach to remove the caked on dirt. The bedding should smell fresher, especially the pillows. The bathroom could also use a new shower curtain to replace the one with mold spots.

Perhaps because there are fashionable bars nearby, you could hear loud music coming from outside and it was very noisy at night. The room was simple and the shared bathroom was very clean. There was also a hair dryer, which was helpful.

A beautiful building in a very pleasant area of Colombo; the architecture and interior design of the hotel are a joy to behold and the vast majority of staff are polite and courteous. Plenty of amenities nearby to suit all tastes and interests. The breakfasts were great both mornings (both the Sri Lankan breakfast and the Western style), and they really lived up to the high expectations we’d had from the Instagram marketing we’d seen. We were upgraded to the North West Suite, which was a larger room, for which we were greatly appreciative; a couple of issues with working plugs and appliances (coffee machine and hair dryer) were reported and rectified, although the wiring/plugs more broadly were temperamental and poorly placed (as expected, possibly, with the charm of an older hotel). However, the bed was comfortable, the hotel was quiet, and the bathroom was well appointed. Our only qualm was with the overzealous Head of Housekeeping, who seemed to not grasp the subtlety required for such a role, or the privacy with which guests might like to enjoy the beautiful hotel. It appeared that he lingered all too often in search of a tip, and didn’t quite appreciate the boundaries one might desire when paying a reasonable fee for each night. My wife and I took to speedily locking the door and placing the ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign on the handle to keep his incessant interrupting to a minimum. His deputy was, however, an asset to the hotel, who seemed to comprehend the subtle art of providing high quality service for a luxury stay in a lovely hotel. All-in-all, a great choice for a hotel in the heart of Colombo, and hopefully, during a busier season, the aforementioned Head of Housekeeping might spread his overbearing attention across the many rooms of the hotel.

The room is clean with refurnished toilet. There could be a proper blanket instead of a cover sheet though its not cold. The hotel has a WhatsApp channel for fast and easy communication
