Chengdu University of TCM/Kuanzhai Alley Nearby Area
Landed in Chengdu in the early morning. I have been to Chengdu once in 19 years. This is my second time to visit. At first, I looked for the area around Chunxi Road. Because it was too early, I couldn’t check in in advance. My partner and I dragged our luggage and wandered on the streets of Chunxi Road. It was wet and cold. It was really pitiful. In a hurry, I thought of the homestay I booked for the first time. I relocated Kuanzhai Alley. The first one that popped up was this one. I quickly called and contacted the front desk. The front desk checked if there was a vacancy and agreed to check in early. It was a life-saving straw. I was sleepy and tired, so I took a taxi here immediately. As soon as I arrived at the place, the familiar streets, the familiar lobby, and the familiar front desk seemed to be back to the first time I came to Chengdu 5 years ago. The feeling of revisiting the old place is magical. Going downstairs is People's Park and Kuanzhai Alley. The location is really great. The room is very large, with a living room, tatami kitchen, washing machine, hot air dryer, and a wide view from the window. The decoration is very new and has no smell. The room is excellently soundproofed. When the door of the decoration next door is closed, there is no sound at all. I don’t want to leave after living here. The price of this B&B has remained as affordable as ever for so many years. This time when I came to Chengdu, I originally wanted to stay near Chunxi Road, but I couldn't find a suitable room within my budget. When I arrived, I found that the place was not what I expected and the sound insulation was also very poor. So I just found this one. The last experience was great, and this time the experience was excellent. Thank you! 🥳 It adds wonderful memories to the trip to Chengdu. The room is beautifully decorated, but I forgot to take a photo, haha. Here is the panda PP in the early morning. If I'm not procrastinating, I can't type so many words. 😎
Rayfont Hotel & Apartment Chengdu

Chengdu East Railway Station and Jinhua Road Wanda Plaza
This hotel is near Chengdu East Railway Station. When you arrive at the rail station, look for Longemont hotel. The hotel is behind Longemont and then Rayfont hotel. Walk abit and turn left. The hotel is there. From here it's very convenient to go anywhere. The staff are very helpful and will try to help you. Everything is good. I stayed here for 4 nights before moving on to Jiuzhaigo but I'm coming back to stay at this hotel again. Chengdu East Railway is where you need to buy tickets anywhere. I recommend everyone to stay here. Initially I was worried about the cigarette smoke smell for hotels in China but there's no problem with this hotel at all.
Fraser Place Chengdu

Shijicheng New Exhibition Commercial Area
It was a pleasant stay at Fraser Place Chengdu! The serviced apartment/hotel is extremely new and modern. We were also thrilled to find this Singapore property in Chengdu, so it was truly a home away from home. I have a young toddler aged 24MO & elderly parents above 70YO during our stay and we loved our stay here. Prices are reasonable (with Trip.com perks & a panda coupon, each room was only S$65/night with 1 breakfast/room). We were able to get a free upgrade to the Studio Executive Rooms. The hotel/apartment has everything that we needed from a bathtub, washing machine+dryer (available for all rooms) etc. Our other one-bedroom apartment was also upgraded to an executive apartment and it came with a fully furnished kitchenette. Some noteworthy details (+ 👍🏻): - Breakfast selection was petite but decent, but not fantastic. The view from the breakfast place at Level 41 makes up for it. - The hotel was able to provide a baby cot for our 24MO toddler for the 1-bedroom apartment. Out of all the international hotels that we stayed in our 2-week trip, this baby cot was one of the best. Our toddler slept well. - Fraser Place Chengdu is located very near SKP (a luxury underground mall with a bamboo-inspired water feature on ground level). Only less than 12 mins away by Didi. Cons (- 👎🏻) - As this hotel located within the high tech zone in Wuhou district, it was hard to find affordable food options or supermarkets. It also takes at least 30 mins to get to popular places of attraction such as KuanZhai Alley by Didi. - Service by the concierge/bellboys was lacking. - There is no drop-off point as the access road to the entrance is blocked off with flower pots (no explanation given). Our drivers could only drop us off at the main road. This proves to be a great challenge as my elderly father was on a wheelchair and we also had a lot of luggages with us. Even when we asked the concierge for assistance, they made no offer to shift the flower pots or assist us with the luggages.

Room is mostly for couples, if ur staying with group of friends . It will be kinda awkward.. the toilet is visible from the bed and nothing to block. U can see everything. Otherwise location is really good near TaiKoo Li.. literally next door only.. oh ya.. those first time to locate lobby.. find the building main lift and go to Lvl 4.. rooms will only be at Lvl 1,2&3.. that’s it.. low floor hotel room

The apartment was big, clean, and very comfortable with all the facilities and equipment (the washing machine + dryer were very useful since we moved a lot and we had to wash some of our clothes). The personnel at the reception was very kind and all of them were English speakers. The breakfast was good. Sincerely, nothing to complain about. One of our best choices in our travel around China.

The location is superb. Only a few minutes walk to Dongdalu subway station that can easily connect to Chengdu East railway station, Chunxilu station, and other attractions. The room is clean and spacious exactly as shown in the pictures. The staff is very nice, helpful, and answer to every question very quickly. :)

Not bad Friends said it was OK 🪥 was also good My friend also brought a bag to go You can walk to Guanghuan Two stops to East Station The only thing is that you need to change elevators The room has a wall-mounted air conditioner I was afraid of the cold at first But it got hot after a while There are sofas and tables It is also convenient for eating takeout But there is an induction cooker but no pot If you want to heat something, there is no microwave haha Other things are good The front desk is on the first floor and you don’t need to contact the housekeeper in advance The most important thing is that takeout can be delivered upstairs

Loved the big space in the house and being able to have washing machine too for laundry. It’s value for money in terms of space because I cannot handle small and cramped hotel rooms. Big thanks for the concierge Leo (I think that’s his name) who helped us through many details.

Hygiene needs to be improved, such as on the bathroom cabinet and toilet ~ everything else is great! The room loft upstairs is huge! There is a washing machine and refrigerator! Quiet! There’s a lot to eat around! The subway station is also close! The price/performance ratio is super high! The service attitude is also great! Will stay here again!
