Hostels in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan

This was the accommodation I chose to visit Himeji Castle. The facilities were clean, and each bedroom had a TV, so I could even watch Japanese programs. There was also a co-working space available, and both the accommodation and the co-working area had manga that you could freely read. It’s only about a 5-minute walk from the station, which is very convenient, and about 5 minutes by bus to Himeji Castle. I also visited Kokoen Garden next to the castle, and during the spring season, it’s open at night as well—so after enjoying the night view, I could easily return to the accommodation. 히메지 성을 보러 가기 위해 선택한 숙소였어요 시설은 깨끗하고 침실마다 TV도 있어 일본 방송도 볼 수 있었어요 코워킹 공간도 이용할 수 있었고, 숙소와 코워킹 공간에는 만화책도 있어서 자유롭게 볼 수 있어요 역에서 걸어서 5분거리로 엄청 가깝고 히메지 성과는 버스로 5분 거리에요 히메지 성 옆 코코엔(일본정원)도 구경하고 요즘 봄 시즌에는 야간 개장도 해서 관람 후 숙소로 편하게 도착할 수 있었어요

Maya GH was awesome. I booked a female bedbunk & individual bunk was spacious and even a side to lay out all my amenties. The room even has a wooden table for common usage. The staircase was a little steep and tiny hence luggage will be helped to carry up or down checking in/out. Destinated Female restroom and shower was awesome. Second though, it is just beside railway hence ear plug was provided. The staff was all so friendly and cheerful greeting you in/out of GH. Oh, i save a small amount of the cablecar+ropeway trip as the GH has alias with Mt Maya. Had my NY celebration with them knocking the bell at shrine & early sunrise watching with the NY food prepared by them. Awesome stay with lovely neighbourhood.

the food is most generous and sumptous, and very high standard. We stayed in couple room with a private onsen tub. This make our stay most memorable as my wife was recovering from a major surgery. When we request the staff to add another layer to the futon mattress, he told us to do it on our own since the futon are in the room. When we told him that my wife is unable to do so due to the surgey, he oblidge to our request but unhappily. Apart from this unpleasant encounter, we decided to return again to this place.

Nice hotel nice location spoiled by **** lady staff. Maybe she really hate Asian. Everything is No! I asked how much the buffet as I was hungry upon checked in and saw they have food behind the counter. When I was going to find a seat outdoor with sea view, I was chased away by her without even given a menu or a chance to sit down. So rude!! I’m not there for free food or free seat!! I’m paying ok. The room at 2nd floor is blocked by the roof of the restaurant, waste my money for this stay.

Everything was good, but when I tried to pay the additional amount when checking out, they told me to pay even the room price I paid in advance when making the reservation, saying it was a 'tax'. After 5 minutes of us checking and finding out, they suddenly said to themselves, ”Oh,” and told me the amount to pay again. It was so At first, I thought it was a mistake, but when I thought about it, I saw that in Japan, even for small mistakes, they apologize repeatedly and say Moshiwake Gozaimasu, but the employee never said a single word of gomennasai. Are we Mistake? So, I guess we just said Hi My Steak and that because we are foreigners, we tried to eat the cash by ourselves, but if you read the review, don't live such a pitiful life. Really. And if you are a foreigner who wants to go here, beware of the guy wearing glasses who looks like the manager.

The service staff was very friendly and there were not many people there that night. Very quiet ~ good sleep! You can rent a yukata at the counter for a fee ~ the service staff will also teach you how to fold a cute handbag!! Very interesting and practical! Recommended

Not bad, the capsule room is more private. Facilities: You can take a shower on the 2nd floor, there is no water outage time, you can eat and make phone calls on the 5th floor, the 34th floor is a capsule room, there are three sockets inside, but two are very close, so you can use two at the same time Environment: There are many convenience stores around, it is very close to JR Sannomiya Station, and it is very convenient to go to Osaka

I was unable to return home due to the heavy snowfall and had to search for a lodging in a hurry, but it was close to the station. They even brought me some newspaper to dry my snow-soaked boots, which was a real help! ❗️ Since it was a hostel, I was a little worried about traveling with my elderly mother, but there was a Jizoyu hot spring nearby, and we were given a voucher to warm up our bodies, which were cold to the core, and my mother was very happy. They also lent me rain boots, so I was able to walk around town safely even on snowy days. Thank you so much for your hospitality! 😊

This is an inn, not hotel. Expect to share bathroom and toilet if the other room is booked and owner imposed a curfew between 11pm and 7am, no good for families, lone traveller maybe.

It is a cost-effective youth travel in Chengqi Hot Spring Town. The hot spring town is relatively small and it is almost the same everywhere. The room is in the form of tatami and you have to make your own bed. On the day of my stay, there were two people in the room plus me, and the roommate was quiet and very good. There is no floor heating in the public area of the hotel, which is cold. There are two toilets and two sinks. When I used it, I happened to not meet people and didn't have to line up. If you take a bath, there is one room on the first floor. Because I went to the public hot spring to wash, I didn't use it. There is also a kitchenette on the first floor, which can be simple hot rice balls or something.
