If i could give 100 stars to this hotel, i would. We enjoyed every moment there. The staff was super friendly and polite. We felt like we are not staying at a hotel but our own place. It’s on the most convenient location for visiting Zhangjiajie National Forest park. Every room from glass house to little rainbow houses were really unique. During our stay, host helped us with transfer to National Park and planing our visit and days. Breakfast was homemade and really delicious. To sum up, our stay was perfect and we will definitely come back here! ❤️☀️😍

The house is very clean and tidy, warm and comfortable, with good lighting. The main thing is that the view is great. We are here as a family. The housekeeper contacted me early to plan the itinerary and arranged for the master to come and pick me up. The master is also very enthusiastic and talkative. His family The infinity swimming pool is worthy of being an internet celebrity check-in place. I came here just for this swimming pool. When taking your children out to play in summer, you must find a hotel with a swimming pool. It is a wonderful stay experience~ I will choose Qiman again when I come to Zhangjiajie in the future!

The hotel was in a great location. You can see the entire waterfall and city from your room. There were only two main things that concerned us. The first was the smell. The hotel is located on top of a restaurant; therefore, you would often smell food in the room and in the halls. We did not quite enjoy the smell. The second is the cleanliness. Brooms and trash bags were left in the hallway as the cleaner cleaned the hotel. It felt quite unclean. The view on the side of the room/ hotel was also all trash. In the pictures, it looked like mountains or trees. For foreigners, please check whether your room had sitting or squatting toilets. We had squatting toilets, but the photos did not show it.

I had the most amazing stay at Yueshanju. The hospitality is beyond impressive and this is one of my favourite guesthouses I have stayed in my years of travels. I had arrived very early on the first day after a long travel night. I had Wechatted the guesthouse owner the day before and she helped me figure so many things out ahead of time from park tickets to taxi pick up when I arrived so early in the morning. I immediately felt safe and cared for since before I arrived. After arriving, they made sure to have a space for me to rest before my room was ready. They put the effort into having my room ready earlier which was so sweet of them. The guesthouse owners are a couple and they drive/pick up guests back and forth from the park entrances. They are very dedicated, considerate, hard working and kind individuals. I appreciated getting to stay here and even extended my stay by one night because it was a great place to relax. The room itself is so comfortable. There is everything you need. The whole guesthouse is essentially ran by a family. I was impressed with how much they do! The food they make is delicious and home cooked as well. I enjoyed the breakfast options and dinner was really delicious. Anytime I needed anything, I would ask and they would accommodate or provide as soon as they could. This place is ran by very genuine people, and I am so glad I got to experience this stay and meet the folks here. Will definitely be coming back!

Location: The waterfall view from the room is very beautiful. On the side of the road there are many shops selling things. Service: The hotel provides pick-up and drop-off service. free high speed train station Just contact via Trip to request a wechat ID and there will also be staff to help you carry your luggage to your room. Overall: I am very impressed with the service. In the afternoon, probably the innkeeper invited me to afternoon tea. Moreover, there is no key deposit. It seems like the hotel has completely changed to a code lock. And the room has all the necessary equipment. Whether it's mosquito repellent, tea (I mostly shoot videos So I didn't take pictures of the room.)

This is a truly exceptional hotel. Don’t let the English translation “Homestay” fool you. This is rather a boutique hotel with very high standard of customer service and room finishes. The owner - Chen Liu - was among the kindest hoteliers I’ve experienced over the past 6 years in China. He and his staff pay great attention to guests’ experience and are eager to help with every aspect of the stay. Ahead of our arrival they helped to arrange tickets to the Park and offered complimentary pick-up from the train station. The very spacious room (we were upgraded free of charge) had an amazing view both from the bedroom and living room areas. The hotel has a very good selection of drinks, great chef and tasty coffee. Overall a perfect setup for a holiday in Zhangjiajie. What I would also highlight is the proximity to the park entrance. Within a 3 minute walk you are at the park entrance. Very convenient!

Mount Heng Scenic Commercial Area
The boss and his wife really make this hotel great. It’s a small place, I think like 14 rooms. We weren’t able to arrive until 8pm, so the hotel came to pick us up from the bottom of the mountain. The car has to stop at the ticket office so you can buy a mountain entrance ticket, otherwise you can’t get to the hotel. It was 114 rmb, but during off-peak I think it goes at low as 84 rmb. The boss’ wife speaks a little bit of English, but honestly I wouldn’t recommend even coming to this mountain if you don’t speak some Chinese or travel with someone who does. The owners are experienced, before they even gave us the room they said we were upgraded to a nicer room on the other side of the building because that night there was going to be a lot of noise from the neighbors near our original room location. The hotel is 3 floors and does not have an elevator, be prepared to carry your luggage up some stairs. The hotel has a rooftop you can go to which has an incredible view! (See attached picture) You’re able to hike to the top of the mountain right from the hotel. I takes about 2 and a half hours to hike from the hotel door to the top of the mountain, the owner will show you the way. If you don’t want to do the entire hike, the hotel is conveniently located near one of the bus stations, so you can take a bus pretty far up the mountain. We wanted to check out in the morning, and then hike the mountain. The owner sent our bags down the mountain so we didn’t have to come back to the hotel. Once we were done hiking, our bags were waiting for us at the bottom of the mountain. Really great service! The owners work hard and have really figured out how to give you what you need.

During the quiet season on December, our stay at this hotel proved to be nothing short of exceptional. The boss went above and beyond by graciously upgrading us to a more spacious room, setting the tone for a remarkable experience. Clean and Exceptional Rooms: The rooms were impeccably clean, undoubtedly the best we encountered during our three weeks of travel in China. The attention to cleanliness and comfort was evident, making our stay truly enjoyable. Friendly Boss and Staff: The hospitality extended by the boss and the entire staff was outstanding. The boss, in particular, demonstrated genuine friendliness, going the extra mile to enhance our experience. Not only did he ensure our comfort within the hotel, but he also shared valuable insights, such as guiding us to secure better deals for dinner through Chinese apps. Smart Travel Advice: One of the standout moments was the boss's strategic travel advice regarding our journey to Xian. He wisely suggested an alternative route, advising us to take a train to Changsha and then a flight to Xian, saving us from the potentially high costs of high-speed train tickets. We appreciated the boss's insight, and it turned out to be a wise decision. Generous Gesture: As we were occupied with purchasing train and air tickets near the reception counter, the staff surprised us with a heartwarming gesture. They offered a complimentary lunch for our families, showcasing their hospitality and making us feel truly valued. This unexpected act of kindness added a special touch to our stay. We highly recommend this establishment to fellow travelers seeking not just accommodation but a memorable and personalized experience.

The inn is very good, it is my favorite style, clean and hygienic, electric curtains, very convenient. The room also has a balcony to chat and drink tea. It is the round-the-hub road when you go out. There is a light belt on the roadside at night for a walk. The next day I went out to pick the local oysters, delicious!

Great view, comfortable bed, large terrace are all highlights. The hostess is a lovely woman who is accommodating to requests. A car was arranged, no charge, to bring us to the hotel from the train station. We were also given a small gift of local delicacies when we checked out. We were especially thankful when we were allowed to shorten our booking because it was very noisy our first night. The noise was largely because of one group of guests who were yelling on their balcony until 3:30am. The hostess was very apologetic about the noise the next day. Though perhaps the hotel should consider a curfew to improve the noise levels. Perhaps a curfew of 11pm like the bars. The second night was much better and we had some regrets about not staying longer. The main area of improvement, other than a curfew, is the cleaning. We were given a pillow that was very dirty and it was quite disconcerting when we discovered it the next day because it had been hidden by the pillow cover. Also, you could not hang the towel over the shower because the top of the rail, which is not visible, was covered in a heavy layer of dirt. Given the grease like texture, this had not been cleaned for a very long time. There was also some noticeable dust. One other thing to note is that it is a bit of a walk to the hotel from the street. This is the same for any of the hotels along the water, but it is worth noting. Heavy luggage will be difficult to carry. Overall, a great stay with a couple of areas for the hotel to improve.
