The El Misti staff were incredibly fun, welcoming, spoke great English and provided lots of activities, free and paid. If you have no itinerary, know no-one and are unsure about coming here, please forget your troubles. You can eat, sleep well and do Rio on autopilot in a safe, walkable neighborhood accompanied by a pretty smile.

The hostel is right by the sea, but the beach isn't really suitable for swimming due to the cleanliness of the water. To the historical city center it is under half an hour by foot. Here also the boat tours to better beaches depart. A small supermarket for the necessary conveniences is nearby. The pool of the hostel is well maintained and a nice cool off for hot days. The rooms have a good size and are at a good price. The only thing that confused us was that we did not get new soap after 5 days we got by on very small soap bars.

Mixed feelings about this one, as the staff were borderline annoying with small rules to ruin your stay. If you want to be treated like a 5 year old and bossed around by grumpy receptionists this is your place!

Very fun place, not too ”modern” in the sense that it wasn't a soulless expat place for people who don't care about actually learning about more local experiences. Perfectly situated two blocks away from Copacabana. Staff were very friendly.

The staff are happy and performing, but, as everywhere has its problems, the jewelry climate has made me not so much interest, as it was my first trip with hosting, it has been a wonderful impression. The bar could have more drink options, but they make some tasty drinks. One thing I didn't like is that they did not provide or warn before having a chain to lock the bed box at home, however, it was not a big problem, because I could buy one in a shop in the street next door. Location is excellent near everything in Búzios and with a vibrant multicultural community, I met many foreigners and are open minds.

GGuest UserWe were very well served at the reception, the location of the hostel is excellent, well at the bridge exit that goes pro Centro Historico. The room has a good size, however, I found the very small bathroom ....o that is a little uncomfortable .... Breakfast was good, with the basic, but everything very tasty and very well presented .....Overall was a good stay.

GGuest UserWhat a little gem! The location was excellent and I even had the girls dorm to myself for 2 days!! No kichen facilities, but a fridge and a kettle are available. Such friendly staff! Construction going on at present but they are very considerate. The pictures are the view from the balcony of the ladies dorm.
