The hotel is conveniently located about one kilometer from Registan, Shah-i-Zinda, the mosque, and the Grand Bazaar, all within walking distance. It's a guesthouse in a small courtyard, clean and tidy, though some facilities are lacking (no toothbrushes, slippers, or an electric kettle). Hot water needs to be heated in the communal kitchen. The owner is very kind, provides a tourist map, and speaks English. When I visited, there was road construction, making it very difficult to get around, but it should be finished in a few days, so future guests will be lucky.

The hotel has an interesting interior and is conveniently located, with all attractions nearby. It's very clean and comfortable. The reception staff are always helpful with any questions and provide great advice, a big thank you to them. I especially want to thank the chefs who prepare the breakfasts; they are delicious, with fresh pastries and a variety of dishes, and they added something new every day. In the evenings, you can have tea in the dining room. My wife and I loved everything and will recommend the hotel to our friends and acquaintances. We particularly remember the breakfasts on the 'tapchan' (raised platform).

This guest house is a wonderful budget-friendly option in Samarkand. It’s conveniently located near the city center, only about 2 km from Registan Square and other major attractions, making it very easy to get around. The room rates are affordable, with options for 2 or 4 guests, which is perfect for couples, families, or groups of friends. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and equipped with all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay. The host is incredibly kind, gentle, and always willing to help with anything you need. One of the highlights was the homemade breakfast prepared by the family — generous, delicious, and offering a wide variety of dishes each morning. The room was very clean. Since we had to take off our shoes indoors, it felt very comfortable. Both the air conditioning and the TV were modern, making our stay very pleasant. The bed was also spacious and clean enough for a good night's sleep. The bathroom ventilation wasn't great, so I left the door open, but it wasn't a major issue. The staff's hospitality was excellent. I was reassured when they explained that female staff would handle laundry for women. Regarding the location, it's a bit far from tourist attractions, so a taxi is essential. There's a bus stop right in front. There are also delicious restaurants and a convenience store-like shop nearby, so we had no trouble with meals. I would definitely like to stay here again when I come back to Uzbekistan!

Nifal is a great new hotel. I spent 3 nights there. What you see in the pictures, is what you get, even better once you see it in person. Amazingly clean, tastefully decorated, high ceiling, two bottles of water, toothbrush, sleepers, and best of all, you’re asked to take your shoes off and place it on a shoe rack by the room. How cool is that? (speaking of cleanliness) Farrux at the front desk speaks English well, very kind and helpful young man. Breakfast is plenty full and individually served at a desire time. Kitchen staff greets you with a smile every morning. Hotel is about 10-15 minutes walk from the popular tourist attraction. Couple of restaurants close by with their specialty kebab (chicken, lamb and beef), they also serve beer and wine.

First of all, although it's called a hotel, it's actually a guesthouse. I couldn't figure out how to open the entrance door, so I tried entering my reservation number and confirmation number into the keypad on the front of the door, but it kept giving me errors. After thinking about it for a while, I noticed another silver button. This seemed to be the intercom. When I pressed it, a ringing sound continued, and after a while, the door opened. Also, a person who seemed to be the hotel manager appeared from the road behind the door. The cleanliness of the room was not a problem. As for amenities, there were no towels, so I used the ones I brought with me, but I wish they had provided them beforehand. I'm sure they would have provided them if I had asked, but that was something that bothered me. The bathroom is a unit bath with a bathtub. There is a curtain partition between the bathtub and the sink, but honestly, it's not much of a relief. The sink gets soaking wet after showering. Since it's a guesthouse, it's not one room per person, and you may end up sharing a room with a stranger. I shared a room with a man from Sweden. Also, there seems to be a keyhole on the room door, but you won't be given a key. Anyone can easily enter. Take all your valuables with you when you go out. Also, Japanese people seem to be a novelty there. There's a courtyard with several chairs and tables. It seems cats live there, and sometimes they sleep on the chairs. Check-out is also confusing; there's no one there at 7 or 8 in the morning. People start to wake up after 10. In my case, a child who seemed to be the manager's (probably not even 10 years old) handled the check-out process. Finally, the location isn't too bad; it's a 30-40 minute walk from Registan Square and the Gur-e Amir Mausoleum.

This cozy, family-run guesthouse is a wonderful place to relax, offering peace, quiet, and a true homely feel. There's a strict no-smoking and no-alcohol policy on the property and inside the house, ensuring fresh air and a clean atmosphere. The surroundings are beautiful. In the mornings, you'll only hear birds singing and the gentle rustling of trees. The rooms are clean, attractive, and feel just like home. Every morning, guests are treated to delicious, hearty, and fresh breakfasts. The hosts are incredibly friendly, warm, and responsive people. They create an atmosphere where you feel like a valued guest. This is the perfect spot for anyone looking to escape the noise and recharge.

We stayed at this beautiful guest house for two days. The women who greeted us spoke very good English, and the mum was very welcoming and showed us around our room. The atmosphere is very calming , with plants and birds in the courtyard. I found it very peaceful. The breakfast was very delicious, and had lots of options. Our every need was taken care off. We took taxi (yandex) to most of the tourist places, which were around 10 min drive.

A great place. Comfortable, unpretentious accommodation combined with an interesting location – it's a traditional mahalla house. Spacious, slightly bare-bones room. Good bed, balcony. There's a sofa – I think it can be folded out, but be sure to check if that's important. FYI: there's no safe. Nice bathroom with a large bathtub. Excellent clean towels. The owner is Nigora. A very interesting combination of formality, friendliness, and attention to guests. Her attitude is calm and welcoming. I like that. For example, we left early in the morning, and breakfast was served earlier than usual. Nigora herself offered to feed us earlier. Everything was calm and unobtrusive. Overall, a great place.

Rajab bobo is a perfect place to stay. I’ll definitely stay here for the next time if I visit Samarqand again! It is very clean, quiet, and the smell is good. It resides in a home, only a few rooms are available, so the in-out travelers are very simple. And the position is perfect, very near Registan. A supermarket is close, and there’s a few good restaurants nearby.
