Booked the Dream Island Treehouse series. Check-in was very smooth. You need to take a shuttle from the front desk to Dream Island, which takes less than 10 minutes including waiting and travel time. The room itself had no strange odors. The interior decor felt like a budget hotel. As someone with rhinitis, I found the indoor air quality wasn't great and my nose was constantly irritated. The outdoor area, however, was perfect for photos. During activity times, small animals like red pandas and capybaras roamed freely. Most people come here to see the animals, so the minor drawbacks are tolerable. Overall, a good experience.

Zhouzhuang was our last stop, and this guesthouse is right in the heart of the ancient town. We contacted the owner beforehand and even got a little unexpected surprise. We had to park our car outside the town, but the room was very clean. The owners are a super friendly couple and provided us with a tourist map. I hope to come back again someday. Wishing the owners great business and happiness to all!

This is a great Republic of China-era hotel, tucked away in a quiet spot yet still central. The courtyard is very unique, and the hotel's location is excellent. It's about 800 meters from popular attractions like Geyuan Garden, Heyuan Garden, Dongguan Street, Pishi Street, Dongguan Ancient Ferry, and Xing Street – all within easy reach. There are also plenty of dining options; the famous Erchun Fried Rice is right next door, and old brands like Fuchun Teahouse, Maopailou, and Gonghechun are all nearby. It's incredibly convenient for an after-dinner stroll. The service is excellent, and the rooms are clean and hygienic. Located at the entrance of a small alley, it's wonderfully peaceful and beautiful. If time permits, brewing a pot of tea and sitting in the courtyard to soak in the 'slow Yangzhou' vibe would be truly delightful!

I had a wonderful stay at this B&B! The hygiene was exceptional; the room was spotless, and the mattress was so soft and comfortable that both my friend and I slept incredibly well. The best part was having a washer and dryer, which was a huge convenience while traveling. There are many great restaurants nearby, and it's very close to the subway station, making it easy to get to the Music Stage and Xuanwu Lake. The front desk lady was incredibly sweet and helpful; she even gave us recommendations for places to visit. Her service was outstanding! I've already recommended it to my friends, and I'll definitely be back next time! ૮⸝⸝o̴̶̷᷄ ·̭ o̴̶̷̥᷅⸝⸝ა

The B&B's location is fantastic, within walking distance of Dongguan Street and Pishi Street. We passed by numerous national, provincial, and city-level protected historical sites, and the B&B itself is one of them – what a privilege to stay in a salt commissioner's former residence! Despite being in a bustling area, the hotel itself is quite peaceful, free from tourist noise. The small courtyard is lovely, perfect for a large family outing, where you can book two rooms and share a private courtyard. Breakfast is served at a neighboring partner restaurant with beautiful garden scenery, though it was a bit crowded during the Qingming Festival. The B&B's service was impeccable; they provided a special children's toiletries kit, and we even received Yangzhou University yogurt upon check-in. Every staff member was incredibly friendly, and they even helped us pack items we'd forgotten when we checked out.

Location: The location is absolutely fantastic! The subway is super convenient right outside the hotel. The closest exit is Shanghai Road Exit 6b, and it's just a two or three-minute walk. There are also lots of great food options downstairs, making it incredibly easy to get to attractions. Plus, many delivery services are available. Room Amenities: It's very clean, truly spotless!!! No strange hairs, no yellowed bed sheets, and no odor in the bathroom. A germaphobe's dream. The only minor thing is that water tends to get tracked out of the bathroom easily; perhaps a bath mat could be added. Next time I visit Nanjing, I'm definitely booking a room with a window! I forgot to take pictures of the room, but it looks exactly like the promotional photos. I just don't have a good sense of square footage, so I was a bit surprised by the size when I saw it in person, but it's still perfectly comfortable for one person. Service: Both the owner and the cleaning staff are incredibly warm, friendly, and dedicated!

This homestay left a deep impression on me. The environment is clean and tidy, the room is spotless, and the stay is very safe. There is an elegant teahouse in the public area, and there is a small tea in the afternoon, which has a special flavor. The boss is particularly enthusiastic, not only taking the initiative to help parking, but also enthusiastically introducing the surrounding attractions, so that the journey feels warm. The overall experience far exceeds expectations and is a recommended choice for staying.

The inn located inside one lanza just neside the canal. It takes you no time to go any places of the town. It's just nearby the three bridges where at night the light is beautiful. The plus of the in is that Jack, the owner, he gave me a great support when I stay there. Maybe he's the only in the town can speak English that made me very calm when arrived. He's also very helpful with his map on which he draw a route recommended. This is also the only one does this since I had been in 2 others old town before but none of them have a map for the guest 😞. Very recommend the inn. And Jack! Pluss my room is very beautiful & spacious with a tea table beside the big windows looking to the tiny & cute gate of the house.

We planned a holiday trip to Suzhou with our baby this May, making it his first ever travel experience. Pingjiang Road was our top choice for accommodation, and this guesthouse popped up on Ctrip's app, looking great, so I booked it. The actual experience was truly fantastic. From the subway station, I called the number sent by Ctrip via text to arrange a pick-up. After getting off the subway at Xiangmen Station (Line 1), Exit 3, the shuttle bus was already waiting across the road. We enjoyed the scenery on the shuttle for about 5 minutes before arriving at the guesthouse. There's a doorbell at the main gate, and it opens automatically with a press. The guesthouse is decorated in a New Chinese style. Upon check-in, I saw guests in Hanfu taking artistic photos, giving me the illusion of stepping back into ancient times, which immediately melted away much of my travel fatigue. The front desk staff were warm, meticulous, and thoughtful. The room facilities were complete, the environment was clean, and all toiletries and daily necessities were provided. There were free drinks in the fridge, and shortly after checking in, a fruit plate was delivered. In the evening, they even offered tremella soup, which was much more considerate than typical hotels. Breakfast the next day was delivered to our door promptly as requested, and the portion was generous, suitable for those with a big appetite. We even received a bag of snacks upon check-out. I'd love to stay at this guesthouse again next time I visit Suzhou, and I'll definitely recommend it to my friends.

SStanley The Travel ManI arrived in pouring rain. I thought I could walk to my hotel but it was impossible in the downpour. I didn’t want to bother any hotel owner.   I didn’t and still don’t  have an eSIM that can make local  call but thanks to Trip.com, there is a link that I could call the owner for free.  I didn’t advise the owners my arrival time so they were off running errands.  I called the owner to pick me up and thankfully he answered. He was busy but gracious enough to turn around and picked me up. It knew Zhouhuang requires a ticket but I didn’t know that no cars, nor motorcycles, nor bicycles are allowed. Without him I would have arrived the hotel easily.  I always like to meet the owners instead of employees . They were very helpful and answered all my questions. They are honest people who dedicate their  blood and sweat to their business. The owner even offered to walk me to the bus stop  to Suzhou which was my next destination.  This  operates two hotels with 9 in one and 6 in the other. The one that I stayed in with 9 rooms is in a  lively and busy area . Just outside the hotel is a restaurant and there are plenty of places to eat. Inside the hotel is a peaceful oasis where you won’t hear any noise. The location is the best. The other hotel is in a quieter neighborhood a few minutes away. Each of the 15 rooms has it’s own personality, is different and has its distinctive decoration. The owners said they decorated them themselves. I love the decoration and especially the lighting.  After you reserve a room, be sure to contact the owner for the exact address in case you want to arrive on your own. I think it is best to request the owner to take you there because he/she will lead you to the ticket booth to buy tickets. There are a number of bridges so heavy big luggages can be a bit of a challenge .  If you arrive after 5 pm, you can enter free of charge as no one is there to check your ticket. . But once you are inside, and if you choose to leave the area after 8 or 9 am until 5 pm, you have to pay to come back in. You can buy a one day or in my case 3 days pass.  Do check with the owner for up to date information.  The room was quite clean. There were hot water all the time. There were other guests during my stay but they were not noisy at all. I barely heard them. I slept very well during my 3 nights there.  Zhouhuang is really beautiful. There are many canals, bridges, boat rides, good food of all kinds. I had some of the best meals there. In fact , I ate in the same restaurant that serves dumpling twice. One night I had grill (BBQ) meat just outside the entrance for 4 yuans. .  There is decent size supermarket just outside the turnstile and not too far away is a much bigger supermarket. It was there where I bought half a Peking duck for only 32 yuans . The seller sliced the meat and separated the meat from  the bones. The bones he fried so it was crunchy.  It was delicious. There is a theater that offers performances. The night view is great. If you step out your room, you will be overwhelmed in a good sense by the exciting surroundings.  This hotel definitely is one of the best that I have ever stayed in. Look at the beautiful pictures and find one that you like.  I stayed only 3 nights and one of those days I went to Tongli. In my opinion, one should spend at least 2 to 3 full days in  Zhouhuang (and especially this hotel ) savor the ambience. I don’t think Tongli is worth the time because it was twice as expensive and there are not that many canals and boat rides. It is much quieter and has fewer things to see. . The worst is that the sightseeing places require you to show your ticket. After 2 places, I lost mine ticket and I  couldn’t get in the rest of the places. It is unnecessary to require proof of entrance because you can’t enter the area without a ticket.

HHalf Gwailo ABCOverall an enjoyable and relaxing one night stay at this tiny cosy hotel in Zhouzhuang, for our final leg of our 6 days Suzhou trip. We took a didi over to Zhouzhuang, which was faster and cheaper than I expected, just a little over half an hour. The hotel staff called me the day before to arrange for pick-up near the watertown ticket office. Actually I can't speak Mandarin and their English wasn't too good but we ended up chatting on Wechat as Wechat has a built-in translate function in their chat. So, 15 minutes before we arrive, we just had to let them know on Wechat. And the staff is already waiting for us, helped us with the luggage and guided us through the ticket buying process. You do have to pay for the ¥100 RMB ticket to get into the watertown and the ticket is good for 3 days. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the entrance. I picked this hotel because it was right inside the watertown and it had the ancient Chinese interior, although all the amenities are modern, including a robust and high-tech Kohler smart toilets in each bathroom. There is a nice coffee shop inside the hotel and the coffee shop owner is friendly and takes his coffee craft seriously. The hotel gives you 2 free drinks during your stay and the coffee menu is quite extensive. If the hotel rooms are not booked on that day, we are told the hotel opens their doors to coffee customers. The hotel owner is actually younger than I expected so I am impressed she meticulously created this authentic experience and the attention to detail. She was friendly and helpful and was open to accommodating our needs. We booked the entire 2nd floor, which was 3 bedrooms and we had 6 adults in our group. This tiny hotel only has 3 bedrooms so if you booked all 3 rooms, you pretty much get the entire hotel to yourselves which include the first floor which is spacious and comfy. When I visit Zhouzhuang again, I am looking forward to stay here again. It's certainly not cheap, but you do get what you pay for - which is people passionate about hospitality (in a Chinese way) and also a hygiene and staying experience that is certainly up to international standards.

GGuest UserIt's 500 meters from the East Gate of Lingshan. You can have hot pot in the courtyard. The room is close to the bamboo grove and has a small balcony, making it quite comfortable. The service is excellent; when it's not busy, the owner is happy to help with luggage. The breakfast is simple and home-style, and the auntie is very helpful. The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the Humble Administrator's Garden and Suzhou Museum, with plenty of great food options nearby. DDanaonianlianAs someone with severe mysophobia, I pay close attention to the bedding and toilet when I stay anywhere. This guesthouse truly excels in its hygiene details. The duvet and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and they were from the brand Graceful. The host thoughtfully put an extra pillow protector on the pillow core before the actual pillowcase we used. The mattress also had an additional mattress cover underneath the fitted sheet, showing the same meticulous care as one would in their own home. What particularly touched me as a mysophobe was that the toilet paper rolls were individually wrapped, and they even provided disposable toilet seat covers, also from the Graceful brand. The hostess provided very detailed and attentive service, contacting me in advance with directions and check-in instructions. The room's soft furnishings were beautifully and thoughtfully arranged, making it perfect for photos. The facilities were comprehensive; in addition to standard disposable toiletries, they also provided disposable towels and bath towels. The high-floor view was also excellent, with the Himalayan buildings and lights visible right outside the window. It was a wonderful stay! ( ﹡ˆoˆ﹡ )
