We had to drag our luggages from the main road through the old street to the B&B without any help offered by the staff. And after check out, we had to ask for the staff to use a small trolley to help move our luggages to the main road, which demonstrated a lack of initiative from the staff in providing good service. Did not feel particularly warmly welcomed by the staff. Location-wise, it is good as it is right in the middle of the old street, very near to the river street and Laiyang old street. Breakfast was also so-so only. When I asked for fried egg, I was plainly told head boiled eggs are available.

The room was very comfortable and the facilities were complete. We had a great time traveling with friends, and the owner was very nice too.

Honestly, the most satisfying hotel during my trip to Huizhou turned out to be this new guesthouse near the train station, which I booked on a whim. I've never had high expectations for guesthouses, usually just looking for a place to sleep. But this newly opened guesthouse completely changed my perception. Here's why I loved it: 1. **Excellent Service, Thoughtful for Guests**: The owner saw that we were a family of four, and my elderly father couldn't sleep on a soft bed. They proactively offered us another room and even helped flip the mattress to make it more comfortable for my father. 2. **Modern Decor, Clean and Hygienic**: Many details show the care put into it. The green trees outside the room window are very pleasant to look at, the facilities are new, and the attention to detail is excellent. 3. **Wonderful Owners, Fantastic Food**: Most importantly, the owner used to be a chef, and the food is absolutely delicious! Yesterday, the four of us had five dishes, and they weren't greasy or salty. It was arguably the best meal we had in Shexian and Yixian. 4. **Superb Location**: It's just a few minutes from Huangshan North Station, and the owner provides pick-up and drop-off. If you're coming to Huangshan, I highly recommend staying here. It's great value for money!

Booked this place in advance before the new year for a trip to Huangshan on the fourth day of the ***** New Year. We were a family of three plus a friend, and the owner and his wife were very welcoming. The whole place was clean and tidy, and the location is great – just diagonally opposite the Xiaoyaoxi transfer station, a convenient 5-10 minute walk. If you're driving, you can just park right in front of the guesthouse. Highly recommended!

For just over 200 yuan, the hotel offers a really pleasant environment. They even provide both soft and firm pillows, which is a nice touch, and there's a convenient spot to hang clothes near the AC vent. The location is fantastic, right at the exit of the transfer center. While it's roadside and can be noisy if you open the windows, the soundproofing is excellent. Plus, it's not on a major thoroughfare, so it quietens down significantly after 9 PM. No balcony, but that's perfectly fine. The room amenities are comprehensive and well-thought-out. The shower is quite spacious and has plenty of hooks for clothes, something many hotels overlook but this one clearly considered. There's even a shoe dryer in the room. They also provide two hiking poles and two raincoats, offer free route explanations, complimentary luggage storage, and even a packet of Huangshan biscuits. There's no shuttle to the transfer center because it's genuinely that close! 😁😁

It was a great stay with ac cooled rooms, great bathroom and a nice view. I had the honeymoon type suite with the queensize bed. The hostess is Very friendly, she offered to make food after breakfast time, which was a little early for us with the time difference (+ 6 hours compared to the Netherlands). Also, she booked several taxi’s for us and was willing to be available even during late hours when we wanten to have a late night drink in the city. The location is suberb, just outside the local city and a 5 minutes taxi drive to the transfer station for the bus/Cable to Yellow mountain. The only downside was that the pool was empty. We were looking forward using this, the weather is very warm. All in all I would for sure go back in the future. Rufus

This hotel is super close to the South Gate, and the staff, especially the ladies, are incredibly warm and attentive. The room was very clean, and while the window faces the street, there's a bit of noise in the morning, but it's fine if you're heading out early anyway. The room gets good light too. The bathroom has a separate shower and toilet, which is great. The complimentary tremella soup was delicious and not too sweet. It's really convenient to be able to grab water from the dispenser right by the hotel entrance. The laundry room is on the first floor, which was perfect for washing all our clothes after hiking Huangshan in the summer. Breakfast is a set menu, but the portions are generous and the food is tasty. The hotel also provides contact info for electric scooter rentals, and you can pick up the scooter directly at the South Gate for a daily rental, which is super convenient for exploring nearby attractions.

The overall atmosphere is excellent, there is no stiffness of the hotel, and it is more the warmth of home. The bathroom supplies are complete, the hot water is sufficient, the bed is very comfortable, and the public area is clean and elegant. The surrounding environment is quiet, you can take a walk in your leisure time, the service is meticulous and thoughtful, the fatigue of the journey will be resolved at once, and you will book next time. The housekeeper is super nice.

Staying at the foot of the mountain was great! The room was lovely and clean, with a tatami window sill, and everything was smart. Waking up to a view of lush greenery when opening the curtains in the morning was fantastic! For breakfast, you can order noodles for 15 yuan, and the restaurant's food is also delicious, especially the 'Tiaoshui Yi Yu' dish – it was incredibly tasty! The owner also gave us a detailed tour route and even drove us to the bus stop in the morning. Highly recommend!

This was my first time staying at Mount Jiuhua, and the hotel's location is absolutely fantastic. It's right next to the Baisuigong cable car ticket office and very close to the bus station for going up and down the mountain, making it convenient to get everywhere. Plus, it's not as crowded as the old town. Front desk staffer Xiao Zhang provided exceptional service. Knowing I was traveling with a child and luggage, she met us at the bus drop-off point, helped me carry my bags the entire way, and even helped me plan an efficient route for visiting the temples. The hotel's design is truly beautiful; the first floor features a courtyard, a pond, and a scripture-copying room, creating a perfect space to clear your mind. The food is also delicious, and the vegetarian dishes tasted just like homemade. I will definitely be back!
