Amazing hotel, less people, not crowded beaches. If you’re searching for food there are plenty of restaurants which you can try different variations of food. The hotel is clean, rooms are big with a balcony where you can drink your coffee or tea. At the evening admirer sunset. What we didn’t like that they didn’t make a refill of coffee and tea, we should have asked the staff. But the rest was fine.
Location: The hotel is located near the train station, but getting there requires climbing a steep hill. It’s puzzling why the hotel doesn’t offer a shuttle bus to the station. On the bright side, the hotel faces the sea, offering stunning views. There’s also a sightseeing mini-train right downstairs, which costs €8 per person. It takes you around some of Tarragona’s main attractions, but it doesn’t stop along the way, nor is there any guided commentary.
Service: The hotel staff were incredibly welcoming. They not only recommended excellent sightseeing routes but also some very delicious restaurants. Since we arrived early for check-in and our room wasn’t ready, they kindly offered us the option to use the gym facilities to change clothes if needed.
Cleanness: Good.
Facility: The mattress was terrible. Why do mattresses in Spanish local-brand hotels seem to always sag so much? Do they actually prefer that sinking feeling?
Overall: Great value for money.
We stayed with three people. The location was perfect for our trip to Barcelona. The staff was excellent. The breakfast buffet was extensive and very good. There is a terrace with tables and chairs.
This is my second time staying at this hotel. There are obviously many guests on weekends. The rooms are comfortable, the service is friendly, there are plenty of parking spaces around, and it only takes five minutes to drive to the center of Salou. A very cost-effective hotel
I highly recommended this hotel at Lleida with suggestions to have breakfast there to fully experience its offerings. The room was modern, new, and clean too. The hotel and restaurant staff were friendly.
It’s only a few minutes’ walk from the shopping streets.
Hotel parking with a fee is available for us.
The service at the great reception, at the buffet breakfast was not so good, the girl we asked if please could make some tortillas we were looking would be and when we told her that there was no hot milk to put to coffee in the buffet I also looked at us very seriously and answered us quite dry, the other girl and the boy though very sympathetic. The room was not quite good, there were screws on the floor that had not been fresh and a lot of dust above the desk light. The location is great and the hotel is very beautiful.
The hotel is suitable for business trips. It is a little far from the city. There is free parking on the ground and the basement charges 10 euros per night. The hotel breakfast is also good. There is a small park behind, which is suitable for morning exercise. There is a restaurant next to it, which is very good. It is right next to the hotel. There is a sushi restaurant a little further ahead. The taste is good.
Right across from the hotel is a Chinese-run seafood buffet. On weekdays, it's about €18.5 per person, and on weekends it's around €24-25, with drinks charged separately. They have a good variety of seafood, overall pretty nice.
You can take bus L77 from the airport to the hotel. To go back to the airport, you can catch the L77 right outside the hotel, but you'll need to flag it down. When getting off, it's best to press the 'stop' button in advance to ensure it stops.
This hotel is a solid choice for business travelers looking for convenience and value. The location is unbeatable—right next to the conference center I was visiting, with easy access to public transport links. My room was functional and tidy, with a comfortable bed and a reliable Wi-Fi connection that held up perfectly for video calls. The complimentary breakfast had a decent selection of hot and cold items, though it did get crowded during peak hours. The only minor downsides were the thin walls, which let in some hallway noise, and the slow room service during the evening rush. Overall, it’s a practical pick that gets the job done without any frills.
An impressive hotel - I’ve never stayed 10 floors up before. The only real problem I had were the lights. There seemed to be a switch for each one, but not a switch that would switch them off. So going to sleep necessitated pulling the card out of its holder to get the room completely dark. Also not having trays at breakfast meant getting up and down much more than one word experience in a normal hotel. But apart from that, it was beautifully clean. And very close to transport links.

Very Good
Very good location, lots of restaurants near by and within comfortable walking distance to attractions including Gaudi’s well known church, the Basílica de la Sagrada Família. Room is good size, with separated shower and toilet. Room attendant is very nice. We stayed 4 nights and may reserve it again if we’re going to Barcelona in the future. The only downside is the elevator is a bit smaller.
This was my very first time planning a solo trip abroad, and I was admittedly quite anxious after paying the full price and then reading some mixed reviews. Since the policy didn’t allow cancellations, I checked in with a bit of worry—but I’m really glad I did. The room turned out to be pleasantly clean and well-organized. I particularly liked the layout: there are two doors between the bedroom and the bathroom, which gave me a strong sense of privacy and security while resting. Another highlight was the lovely scent in the room—it instantly made me feel at ease and almost like being at home. (If possible, I’d love to ask what kind of aroma sachet or air freshener is used—I’d like to buy the same one!) During mid-November, the evenings in Barcelona were slightly chilly, but the heating/air-conditioning unit in the room worked well and kept things comfortable. That said, when the unit is turned on, there’s a noticeable mechanical noise—it’s not too loud and didn’t disturb my rest, but worth mentioning. I also appreciated how responsive the staff were. On my first night, I thought the external shutter in the room was broken. I reported it to the front desk, and the manager quickly sent someone to assist. It turned out the shutter was manually operated by a cord hidden behind the inner curtain on the far right—easy to miss at first glance. Although the hotel isn’t in the city center, transportation was convenient—there’s a nearby bus stop within walking distance, with easy access to both the metro and Sants train station. A nice bonus: just a 3-minute walk away is a bakery called Joncake & Wine, a branch of the famous Joncake. Their Basque cheesecake is incredible, and being a branch, it’s much less crowded than the main store. There’s also a small convenience store right downstairs—great for picking up water or other essentials. One downside would be the soundproofing. The walls and floors seem quite thin, so I could hear voices and footsteps from the neighboring room. It wasn’t too disruptive for me, but worth noting. Originally, I only planned to stay three nights, but I ended up liking it enough to extend for another three. Overall, this stay exceeded my expectations and became a memorable part of my solo trip to Spain.
A hotel review for Hotel SB BCN Events: Hotel SB BCN Events: A Fantastically Fun and Surprisingly Serene Stay! Forget what you think you know about ”business” hotels, because the Hotel SB BCN Events is a delightful surprise that's packed with fun, positive vibes, and a truly relaxing atmosphere! From the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us with genuine warmth and enthusiasm. The check-in was a breeze, and we were whisked away to our room, which was an absolute dream. The decor is modern and sleek, but the big, fluffy beds and the incredible natural light made it feel cozy and welcoming. I'm pretty sure I could have spent my entire trip just lounging on that bed and gazing out the window! But then we discovered the rooftop pool... and the game was officially changed! Holy wow. The views are breathtaking, and it's the perfect spot to unwind, soak up the sun, and enjoy a cocktail. The atmosphere is so relaxed and happy; it's like a little slice of paradise right in the city. And the poolside bar staff? Absolute legends! They were so friendly and made the most delicious drinks. Even the hotel's location, which might seem a little outside the city center, is a huge plus! It's so peaceful and quiet at night, and we loved the feeling of escaping the hustle and bustle after a day of sightseeing. Plus, the public transport connections are super easy, so getting to the main attractions was never a problem. We actually enjoyed the short ride, as it gave us a chance to see more of the city! The food at the hotel was also fantastic. We had a lovely dinner at the restaurant, and the breakfast buffet in the morning was a feast! So many options, all so fresh and delicious. It was the perfect way to fuel up for a day of exploring. Overall, our stay at Hotel SB BCN Events was an absolute joy. It’s a place that manages to be stylish and sophisticated, yet still feel incredibly friendly and fun. We left feeling refreshed, happy, and already planning our next trip back. If you're looking for a hotel that goes above and beyond to make you feel special, this is the place for you. Five stars and two enthusiastic thumbs up! 👍👍
The location is super convenient, which is just above the Barcelona Sants station. The room is clean and cozy. I can see the tiny Sagrada Familia from my room. They even hanged a Christmas sock with candies on my door on Christmas Day, it made me felt so warm.
Special hotel. We stayed here as a couple for Brunch Electronik festival at Parc Del Forum this weekend and the location was perfect. From walking in to reception it smells great and is nice and cool. The rooftop terrace was great and the drinks prices in the hotel were reasonable. We then were given a complementary upgrade when checking in and received a marina view which was great. We didn’t eat in the hotel as we were out for most of the day but I’d highly recommend this hotel for anyone going to Parc del forum.
This was my second stay in the hotel. The reception staff was friendly and helpful, David treated us fantastically and gave us two great rooms in a high floor facing the sea and Montjuic mount, where luckily that same night there were fireworks. The rooms were big and very original, the same unique feeling as the whole building that you cannot find in too many hotels. The roof top bar and swimming pool are excellent to chill and admire the beauty of the city. The gym is a bit compact but enough for a workout, and it has a small indoor pool to relax. But the breakfast was for me the highlight. The service was impeccable, preparing coffee for you on demand, and the variety of fruits, cold cuts and different dishes was so good that our breakfast lasted close to one hour. I will go again for sure!
This hotel is located outside of the city center of Barcelona. It is just across from Fira Barcelona Gran Via, which has a L9 South metro stop. Hence, it is not difficult to go to the city from the hotel. The room is spacious with nice decor but the hotel seems a little old as there are some cracks here and there. The gym is usable but not really complete. There is a huge selection of food for the breakfast but they are not the best, either.
