Denny99This is a family-run hotel, and the owner is incredibly kind. When we arrived around noon, the owner offered us tea, and orange juice for the kids. Upon learning we were visiting Hierapolis, he kindly offered to drive us to the north entrance of the site, allowing us to walk downhill through the ruins instead of climbing up from the base. We were truly grateful for his thoughtfulness.
That evening, after returning from the site, we had dinner at the hotel's restaurant. The owner's wife cooked authentic local dishes, and they were delicious.
The room was a bit small, but it had one double bed and three single beds. Since we were only staying for one night, it wasn't a major issue.

JJQxxxSuper hotel! Very friendly staff, especially at the reception, thank you very much! The rooms are wonderful: there is a refrigerator, a balcony or terrace with a nice table. Most importantly, the air conditioning works properly, and there is excellent hot water pressure! The room is warm in winter and fall. Breakfast is a buffet, there wasn't enough porridge, but otherwise it was ok. We were checked in at 11 at our request, thank you for accommodating us! We will definitely be back!

Bellamaritimo is maybe not the newest hotel, but it is at a fine spot - we could see Pamukkale from our balcony and also see the hot air balloons in the morning when the sun was rising!
The pool(s) and the courtyard are super nice and clean and very new! It was so much fun to cool down there after an exciting day.
The owner of the hotel, Halim, was very friendly - as was the rest of the staff - and helped us with great advise in order to make the most of our visit at Pamukkale. We had already booked a hot air ballon ride for the first morning, but for the rest Halim's advice was extremely helpful!
Breakfast (see the picture) at the hotel made us very happy and we also had dinner once at the hotel (the picture is not showing the delicious salad we had with it, but you'll get the picture).
The hotel also offers wine 🍷 from the region. We tried the white wine that was a very enjoyable drink one of the evenings. Once, while enjoying the pool in the afternoon, the owner presented us two glasses of chilled pomegranate wine - that on a hot summer day is absolutely fantastic! 😍
The rooms were simple, but clean, as was the bathroom. But we didn't spend that much time inside anyways... 😎☀️
So, altogether, I can warmly recommend this hotel for your stay at Pamukkale - it's a grand choice! Last but not least, it's also a very affordable option ... 😉

The hotel rooms are quite big. I suggest not to stay in the rooms on the side of the pool, which is a bit noisy. There are outdoor swimming pools, indoor swimming pools, and hot spring pools. You need to wear a swimming cap in the hot spring pool (please note this). The most convenient thing is that they provide dinner, but there are too many groups. Everything else is good.

THT2023My husband and I recently had the pleasure of spending two nights at the Cotton House in Pammukale. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with exceptional hospitality by the owner, Mr. Tufan. He was always friendly and warm, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable.
During our visit, we unfortunately fell victim to a scam involving our shuttle bus booking to the airport. However, Mr. Tufan was incredibly patient and dedicated in helping us resolve the issue. His assistance and support made us feel safe and secure throughout our time at the Cotton House.
The rooms at the Cotton House were immaculately clean and tastefully decorated. We felt a sense of comfort and relaxation in our well-appointed accommodations. Additionally, the homemade breakfast served each morning was simply delightful, leaving us satisfied and ready to explore the wonders of Pammukale.
In conclusion, I highly recommend staying at the Cotton House if you have plans to visit Pammukale. The exceptional hospitality of Mr. Tufan, combined with the cleanliness, comfort, and delicious breakfast, made our experience truly memorable.

catallenaThis hotel in the hot air balloon town is super convenient. The front desk helped us book a car to Salda Lake, airport shuttle, and hot air balloon rides – all without prior reservations, which was amazing! Their breakfast is delicious, with rose jam and flatbread. I even made my own 'hand-grabbed' pancake, totally satisfying my Chinese palate. I also made milk tea with milk and Turkish black tea, adding a bit of honey, and it tasted exactly like Hong Kong milk tea – I'm quite the foodie! The only issue is that the facilities are a bit old, but not dirty. Honestly, most other guesthouses and hotels in this town are pretty average anyway, so this one stands out as the best of a bad bunch and is definitely worth considering.
The restaurants in this town are all terrible and surprisingly more expensive than in the capital. The same menu items are miles apart from what you'd find in Istanbul. Except for one Chinese restaurant owned by a Shanghainese boss, located between the town entrance and a bunch of A*** hotels. We ate there twice in 3 days and were so satisfied – the Sichuan cuisine was incredibly authentic!
A special warning about the Pamukkale thermal spring entrance tickets: there's a scam! The ticket office at the park entrance brazenly scams people. It's supposed to be 30 euros per ticket, but they try to trick you by saying they don't accept euros, only Turkish Lira – this was the first time we encountered not being able to pay in euros in Turkey. My husband suggested paying by card. After swiping, the staff member said he'd give us two headphones for an audio guide inside the park. I suddenly remembered seeing this scam mentioned in a Xiaohongshu guide. The headphone cost is actually built into the card payment! I quickly calculated how much we'd just been charged. It turned out they charged us 75 euros for two tickets, which is 15 euros more than the original 60 euros. Was I crazy to pay 15 euros for two crappy headphones? I immediately demanded a refund, firmly telling him I didn't want the headphones. After receiving the refund, we paid again for 60 euros. I'm writing this in my review hoping other visitors don't get scammed!
Throughout Turkey, including Istanbul airport's metro card booths and the Grand Bazaar, scams are prevalent. Always be wary of strangers striking up conversations and ignore them! Absolutely do not let locals help you operate the card machines! They will secretly buy an extra card for themselves because metro cards can also be used at convenience stores! Prices in the Grand Bazaar are 10 times higher than in regular supermarkets! Do not go in there! It's Turkey's version of a 'cutting cake' scam. Before picking items, we'd ask for the price, and they'd just say it's by weight, without telling us the price per box. After they packed and weighed it, they demanded 800,000 Korean won, which is equivalent to three nights' accommodation in a Spanish hotel! They then tried to guilt-trip us, saying that since it was already packed, we couldn't refuse to pay or put it back. I told them to call the police because it was a scam and I wouldn't pay a single cent! We stood there for half an hour. They were big and tall, clearly trying to bully Asians. But seeing how resolute I was, they eventually let me go. These scams are mostly in tourist areas; we didn't encounter them in regular residential areas, where there are generally more good people. But definitely be on guard in tourist spots!

Gürcan ÖztürkkFirst, know what you want. This isn't a place for those who want an all-inclusive 5-star hotel. It's a place where you get full value for your money. These types of places aren't usually large corporations; they're generally family-run, and not everything is perfect.
Regarding our stay:
We opted for an apartment-style stay as a family. Yes, it wasn't very clean, but we were prepared for that.
We received a friendly welcome. We got answers to all our questions, and yes, the apartment had everything you'd expect. The hotel owners were very friendly and kind people. They treated our disabled son like their own grandchild and served tea morning and evening without us even asking.
The pool was cleaner and in better working order than many large hotel pools.
Would we go again? Absolutely.

The owner and their family were incredibly kind! The owner even gave me a ride, which made getting to Pamukkale so much easier. I thought I'd miss breakfast due to an early departure, but they packed it up for me, and I enjoyed a hearty meal on my way back. The guesthouse's location is also great, very close to Pamukkale, offering good accessibility. My only minor complaint is that the soundproofing isn't the best, but it wasn't a major issue, and it was quiet enough at night for me to sleep comfortably. The sink is a bit small for washing your face, but even considering these small points, it was a wonderful and warm place to stay.

Guest UserA great option for one night in Pamukkale. The host is very welcoming. If you want to be met, please let them know your arrival time in advance, or at least 15 minutes beforehand, as there is no reception. If no one is there upon arrival, message the host and they will arrive in 5 minutes. We would have liked to have some dishes added to the room, as there was a kitchen area, but they were missing. We asked for them, and they brought them to us.
